Beachside Therapy & Assessment Center

Nice front office, great therapist some problems with billing but looks like it will be worked out.

I have well over a years experience working with the folks at Beachside so I feel confident enough to write a detailed review. I have seen therapists at both the Beverly Hills location & Ventura location.
First of all, Dr. Kerry O’Reilly is a very kind and caring professional. Unlike many therapists who will try to turn the situation you’re explaining back on you with a «and how does that make you feel?» question. Dr. O’Reilly will listen intensely and asses the situation, offering valuable advice and coaching. Her memory is also astonishingly accurate. I’ve brought up things that were bothering me in a session and she’ll accurately recall details of events I had mentioned months earlier.
I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Lisa Tomei. Lisa has a slightly different approach than Dr. O’Reilly but the results still seem to be about the same. Very kind and compassionate with valuable advice that makes sense.
For medications, I have worked with both Karen Holdredge NP & Dr. Markovitz. No complaints at all. Although the medication thing is relatively new for me they are working very hard to find a good long term solution and I’m confident they will.
The only real issue I’ve had is a couple times I would call the front desk and not receive a call back, however this has only happened twice and I understand how swamped a busy office can be.

THIS COMPANY IS HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED
This is an absolutely horrible company or organization or whatever it is. They have three locations and I have been to Beverly Hills location once.
Their receptionist is horrible, I guess they have one in the main office. There is no receptionist at the Beverly Hills location. There was a mess up on my appointments and no one could figure it out so they had to reschedule me. When I got there I had to wait an hour in the lobby for the therapist to show up because her schedule wasn’t updated.
I have a prescription that needs to be authorized by the therapist so I can use my insurance. The pharmacy has faxed authorization form a few times over past 2 weeks but they have not responded yet I even called them to ask for a response and they told me the real figure it out and they would call me back but they never did.
SO MESSED UP. YOU GUYS NEED NEW CARING STAFF

Beachside is an amazing place! The staff is top notch and Dr Kerry O’Reilly is a true professional. She has helped me beyond words to be a better person; a better father, a better son, a better partner, a better employee, a better friend, and just an all around better person. I also participate in an emotional strength training group that has greatly helped me to deal with me emotions, be less controlling, and to find different ways to handle situations that cause me stress. Office manager Becky is awesome!!! She is super friendly, personable, professional, and helpful. Wendly also works the front desk and is also friendly, warm, professional, and helpful.
Beachside has a full range of therapist and psychiatrist to help you better your quality of life. My daughter and girlfriend say they have seen a huge improvement in me. Both of my daughter’s have also received help through Beachside. If you are struggling in any area of your life or just want to work on yourself, I highly recommend you give Beachside a call.
