I have been going to him for over a year. He is very thorough. He tried everything before referring me for surgery. He is very nice and seems to know what he is talking about. The office is always clean, nice staff and always sees me quickly. The only complaint I have is that he was late on the day of surgery but not by much and we still finished on time. Great doctor!

Watch out for this doc. He recommends orthotics to everyone and makes lots of money onthem. I went to him and fell for getting the orthodics and paid for the casting, supplies & the orthodics at a tune of over $ 500. The nurse had said they would be $ 200 – 250 what she did not say was that was for each one. She also did not included the cast of each foot or the supplies to cast them an additional $ 800 per foot along with $ 20 for the supplies. They did not work and now I have this expensive inserts that I don’t use. Beware of the hidden cost. I had to learn the hard way. Try using the the active ones from Walmart for $ 20 first. I had another podiatrist recommend them and they work great.

I went to Dr. Roberg the end of 2012 for an ingrown toe nail — my big toe on my left foot. Dr. Roberg was very professional and just had to remove the area down the left side of my toe nail as it was growing into my skin. Years ago, I went to a so-called podiatrist in the San Fernando Valley(who’s big and fat) who ruined this nail completely by doing unnecessary surgery and disfiguring my toe nail. Be careful any time you have to go to a doctor — as not all doctors know what they’re doing or care. I can recommend Dr. Roberg. If any podiatrist recommends surgery — get a 2nd and 3rd opinion. Doctors make the most money doing surgery — when most of the time, it’s not necessary.

I went to Dr Roberg because I got a fungus in both my big toes from a local nail spa(in the mall!) and didn’t want to take Lomotril if possible. There are doctors that do laser also but not covered by my insurance. Dr. Roberg was friendly, and took the time to give me some other options. We also discussed my hammertoe problem and he gave me an option that I didn’t know about. As to the fungus-he and a dermatologist created a product that is kind of a combo of some kind of anti fungus and superglue that goes on like a nail polish and stops the fungus in its tracks. It has worked perfectly. My nails didnt fall off because I got in there quickly and the nails are growing back very well with no sign of fungus — hooray! In a couple of months I’ll be back to(safely) getting pedicures! After the first of the year I plan on getting the hammertoe surgery on both feet(one is the traditional treatment, one is the quicker recovery). My plan is to be back wearing high heels(not too high) before summer. hooray!
