Love love love their breakfast burritos! And the best thing about it is that they serve them all day long ;) I don’t mind driving the extra mile to come here for lunch because I really like their food. The salsas are all made in house and the green one is my favorite.

I drive through the area and have been there at least a half dozen times. Always enjoy it. Got the creeps today. I was the first one there. After placing my order, went to get a Coke. The machine hadn’t been cleaned from the night before. Dried up syrup stains, even the salsa bar had salsa stains on the counter from the night before. Makes me wonder how dirty the ice machine is inside, too. Little bug in the air above the salsa as if he had set up shop. To their credit, lunch was great. Hopefully the kitchen is cared for better… But I don’t think I’m going back.

Ordered take out over phone today. Took about 10 minutes to be done. For take out I am very happy food was still warm and complete(I got a tostada bowl and those aren’t easy keeping whole). Ordering over the phone went well. the woman taking the order/register wasn’t mean or friendly. that’s okay with me. It was quiet inside, but take out orders present. We’ve been here a few times each experience happily full They have cinnamon sugar tortilla chips in to-go baggies. Bottled and fountain drinks Food is 4 stars. Familiar feeling is lacking even though we’ve been here several times before… that’s kind of important to me personally

We live just around the corner and get food from here often. Lately I’ve been getting breakfast burritos and they let me basically create my own. I love the food here because it’s a healthier alternative to the standard Mexican food you get elsewhere. Don’t get me wrong, a super greasy burrito from somewhere else is sometimes necessary, but if you don’t want to feel like a sack of potatoes afterwards then Cabo burritos or burrito bowls are the way to go! And speaking of potatoes, the potato tacos are delicious! The jamaica and horchata are good and I really like the green salsa. The staff is always really friendly, it’s clean and the food is good!

The place was pretty empty when we got there but it was just past lunch hour… We got a fiesta burrito with steak… It was pretty tasty… The salsa was was okay not spicy at all… The white salsa tasted pretty much like ranch but i ate the pico mostly… Burrito is a decent size so good price for the portion and you get free chips to go with it… Didnt love the place because it felt a little more like taco bell but wouldnt mind coming back and trying something else…

HORRIBLE!!! My bf and I went to grab a quick bite to eat got 2 tacos and a burrito. The meat tastes like its been sitting in a heating tray. We asked for chicken and they were no longer making it for the day It was only 8:00PM. Food is in small portions. I really don’t recommend this place. So DISAPPOINTED!

Not sure the about the complaints below but I had 2 pastor tacos that were loaded with flavor. Salsa was good. The white sauce was better than snapper jacks and this place had really good pricing compared to some of the other local«fresh» Mexican spots in town. Chips were free.

Stopped in for quick lunch before our daughters game as the high school. Told the wife, «only 3 star rating», she said«let’s try it». Large place, 1 customer, 1 cashier and 1 cook… Food: I ordered shrimp bowl and grilled fish taco, wife(2) carne asada tacos, small guac & chips. Shrimp bowl was bland, pinto beans only(black beans were still cooking), rice seemed old. Fish taco was ok. Guacamole was ok, kind of bland, but the chips were either store bought and old, or made there, but made last week! They had some kind of creamy salsa there, tasted it, but seriously tasted rancid. My wife said her steak tacos didn’t really taste like anything. We got up and actually The one bright spot in this experience was there red hot sauce, it actually had flavor. Although not from this area, would not come back if we found ourselves in Ventura looking for Mexican food.

Nastiness, thy name is Cabo Grill. The potato burrito tasted like a big dollop of lard. The expensive nacho plate was a flat, colorless mix of melted cheese over oily nachos topped with brown guacamole.

The food at Cabo Grill is of excellent quality. People that work there are really friendly and the prices are right. Been going there for years. Highly recommend.

I met up with an old college friend for a bite to eat here since we were both hungry for food. The place was completely empty upon entrance so I had a suspicious feeling this place wasn’t going to be amazing :( I ordered 2 pastor tacos for $ 3.50? based on their special posted outside with an horchata to wash it down. My friend ordered 2 veggie tacos with a Jarritos and we swapped each of our tacos to try both types. The veggie taco was actually tastier than the al pastor tacos. The guy who rang us up forgot about our horchata and didn’t tell my friend to pick up a Jarritos from the mini fridge when we wanted our drinks. It was a decent food experience but we had more fun catching up with each other. Most likely not gonna return but the cook and cashier guy are nice people. Oh yeah, additional charge on card purchases less than $ 5 I believe.

I’ve been going to Cabo since attending Buena High(next door). I think they have awesome food. I either«make-up» my burrito and like getting the burrito with potatoes cheese and guacamole OR get a potato taco(both delicious). I like that they grill everything in front of you. I especially enjoy their«secret sauce» at the salsa bar. Super good place, a must try.

Fresh ingredients, healthy options, no MSG or lard. For those that want to have a cleaner healthier version of Mexican food Cabo Beach Grill delivers.

Great food, great price… Recommend the nachos, burritos and if you want to go light, the burrito bowl. Don’t recommend the enchiladas…

I like their tips and salsa bar. But that’s it. I had pretty bad burrito that I haven’t had for long time. The inside of carnitas burrito was so dry. Meat, bean, rice and onion. No wet ingredient, like guacamole, sour cream even cheese. I couldn’t finish because of that bad. Never go back.

This place is Goooood. Never new it was there until my daughter took me there. Fiesta Burrito is Yummy and the tacos are great. Nice salsa with just the right kick. Totally under the radar and worth checking out.

I live so close to Cabo Beach Grill and always forget it’s here. Today I stopped in for a quick lunch and quickly remembered why. Food: The rice may have been made fresh. The black beans were from a can, the taco shells were preordered, and the meat was overdone, toothsome, and possibly cooked a day ahead of time. Service: Just what you would expect. Pleasant but nothing special. Price: Too expensive for the lack of quality. I paid approximately $ 10 for a two taco plate and a drink. Will I come back: I hope not. But I might because of the location.

Quick cashier, but the tv is not loud enough but hey it’s not like the LA Lakers game is on its just the Miami fizzle. Only one restroom. Only one chef. Two orders ahead of mine. The Mahi Mahi tacos is what I ordered. The tacos don’t even look edible. Lol. I’ve had way better. Also they were flavor less. Never eating here again. Hubby and I got carry out burritos from here last weekend — we both had al pastor. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and helpful when I had questions, and the prices were right on for a burrito. The salsa bar was in need of a little TLC, so I didn’t bring any home with me. The burritos themselves were okay. I think next time I’ll try something other than the pastor. But I will definitely give the place another try.

Got my new Entertainment Book and happened to be in Ventura for the afternoon. I stopped at the Cabo Beach Grill for no other reason than the fact that I had a coupon! I love that book; it takes me to places unseen! Upon scoping the menu, nothing was over $ 10, even the entrees! WOW! We each ordered burritos, mine steak and my partner in crime ordered the mahi mahi. Both burritos were extra long! The salsa bar had good variety with one salsa that had a blend of sour cream, so it was a white color… very tasty. So, back to the burritos, they were really good. The shell was grilled and a bit crisp on the outside, inside had lots of cheese, steak(not the highest quality meat, but good) and rice, beans, etc… For a new adventure, this was pretty good!
