Maybe this lame ass company should talk to Sam’s Club before they run around putting stupid fake tickets on vehicles w/​travel trailers.
I called Sam’s club in Oxnard before arrival to ask if we could park in their lot overnight. The manager was very kind and assured me that as long as I was in their side of the lot, where it clearly states their name & signs for 24 hr. parking. We arrived about 20 minutes before Sam’s closed and checked in again. The manager pointed us to the spots on the other side of the large recycling center.
When I woke to find this «ticket», I was ammused… is there no communication???

We use their services for our business Kaiser Air Conditioning in Oxnard. We had our roll up door damage some cables for our alarm system and Dragonchuck came out and completed the repairs in a timely and professional manner.

PATHETIC COMPANY!!! Apparently these jokers purchased Gold Coast Security a few years ago, but don’t seem to know what clients they are now supposed to service now. I had a parking issue where I needed a car sited or towed. I called and got some RUDE customer service person, then got hung up on. I called back and the same person answered, tried to act like it wasn’t him, and then tried to be MODERATELY helpful. Or at least give the impression of helping me. At the end of the day (And it is the end of the day) nothing was done, nobody called me back, nobody showed up (even though the rep said he was sending someone), and I’m left here wondering if this is really a company that’s supposed to help me feel «SECURE»???
This company is LAUGHABLE to say the least.

All in all, we’ve been satisfied with Draganchuk and when we had to change services, Jill was able to drop the extra 4 months apparently due as we weren’t aware of any restrictions or fees due, and as we’ve been loyal customers for over 8 years. They worked with us, and we appreciate it!

Draganchuk installed an alarm in our home last week after meeting with Michael Spencer. We had a tight schedule and he expedited the installation and had the technical crew come out last Friday and spend all day doing an excellent job. I have installed alarm systems previously and this was the smoothest install I have ever done.
I am very pleased with their monitoring services and look forward to years of service with Draganchuk.

Very dishonest group, when my annual premium expired and a clause was not initialed on the orginal contract requiring me to provide written notification of cancellation of service, they tried to collect an additional fee. This group has poor monitoring service, dishonest principles, and ignorant customer service. Their low ratings are very accurrate of what they provide. Stay away!!!

I have been using Draganchuk for my home monitoring service for the past 8 years. I recently added a pool/​cabana in the back yard and needed there services again to install (and monitor) additional equipment. Mark Dowling came to my home to survey what was needed (equipment wise) and scheduled an appt. the next day to have a service tech install equipment. Mark knew I was pressed for time and was very cooperative in his efforts to accomodate my needs. David, the tech arrived promptly the next morning to install equipment and hung around waiting for the final fire inspection to take place for final approval. Everything went smoothly with my inspection and Draganshuk made the experience easy and stress free. Thank you!

Been a customer for 10+ yrs now. Two years ago, had an upgrade made to my security system so I could be «mobile» as I was giving up my landline. A few install hiccups but overall it turned out well. Recently included «mobile» control of my thermostat through the upgraded mobile system I now have. Am now in control of the security features and controlling the temperature levels (turning on/​off when away from home). Also had Draganchuk install a «visual» intercom system for the front door area so I could better see who was on the other side before opening the door when the doorbell was activated. Have been happy with their service and have referred others who uses them for security system purposes also — have not heard of them encountering any problems.

The company I work for has been a customer of Draganchuk for almost a year — no complaints! We had one false alarm from the cleaning company one weekend and Draganchuk was quick to give me a call to make sure I was aware and did what I needed to do. The price is very good and their billing and customer service has been great!

We have Draganchuk as the «courtesy patrol» at my apartment complex, and unfortunately I happen to have a noisy neighbor. Every time that I call to have someone come out to ask my neighbor to turn down the music, it does not happen. Although the management gets a report saying the issue was resolved.
What the security officers do as far as «patrolling» is to park their car by the office, walk to the pool to swipe the magnetic strip saying they patrolled and then leave. There is no such «patrolling» happens.

I wish there had been these reviews on Unilocal when I was looking into an alarm company for my beach house. I notice all the reviews are in the past few years. I suspect they went downhill when they decided to sell to Boyd & Assoc.
I had wanted to support a local business in the Oxnard/​Ventura area and had bad experiences with ADT. I called and the older Draganchuk came out to give a quote. He spent more time talking about himself and the company (which he says he founded. The son in subsequent conversations claimed the older one never owned the company — they need to get that story straight) than he did on security for our house. I should have taken the hint, but didn’t, unfortunately. I should have done more homework before falling for the hard sell push.
They installed the system and we quickly discovered that the door to the roof deck (accessible from the ground — the main point that anyone breaking in who had any sense would use) was never hooked up. I called and spoke to the older Draganchuk — what a dope. He attempted to tell me it was my fault and then yammered on about how no house is totally safe, and that if someone BROKE THOUGHT THE WALL the alarm wouldn’t go off anyway — WTF??? I actually hung up on the jerk. I called and talked to the son, who wouldn’t agree to refund my monitoring for the several months there was really no protection and wanted to charge me to install a wireless sensor for the door (we negotiated a price, but not happy with that experience either). They subsequent company was able to get the hard wired sensor to work and removed the ugly wireless one.
So they rely pretty heavily on the fact that you sign up for a two year contract — certainly the customer service wouldn’t keep you there that long. I later found out that the cell phone system they installed didn’t work (when we accidently set off the alarm and no one called. .…), then the alarm kept going off repeatedly for no reason (they wanted to charge us to come out on a weekend, despite it being their fault), billing problems, calling over and over again to get answers, etc. I was so done with them that I sent them a cancelation letter a year in advance so I wouldn’t miss the sneaky deadline they use to keep you obligated.
They are now part of a bigger company so I can’t imagine service got better. The Draganchuk probably couldn’t care less about negative reviews since they sold the company. Maybe Boyd has some clawback provision if enough customers leave. Anyway, — AVOID THIS COMPANY.

I would advise anyone considering a home security camera system to avoid Draganchuk. I purchased four
cameras for exterior use 18 months ago. Problems have occurred with the cameras and service. Splicing of power lines to cameras was done and is already in poor condition. Customer service has been poor.

This company goes back on its word. They tell you they will do something for a specific price and then add cost after cost thereafter. Equally as important, when you need service, they nickel and dime you. Finally, they are rude on the phone when you call and make you wait FOREVER on the phone. When they finally answer the phone they are surly and unhelpful.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
I spent over $ 6,000 for Draganchuk to install an burglar alarm system and electronic access system in my commercial building. The alarms did not work when someone broke in through a window right in front on a motion sensor in 2012. The sensor never went off. The burglar stole 2 computers. The technician who came out to see why, said that the sensor was defective AND TRIED TO BLAME US. It had not been touched since it was installed.
The electronic access system installed almost 2 years ago never worked as it was supposed to. We were given fobs that were supposed to open some doors but not others and some were to be master fobs. They all opened every door as though they were masters. They were incapable of fixing the problems. Technicians would come and go without telling us anything. Communications with the office were extremely difficult.
I cancelled my Draganchuk monitoring service 2 weeks ago so that a new company could come in and re-​program the fobs. Now they sent me a bill for 3 additional years of monitoring and a bill for $ 567 for a motion sensor which they had never billed me for at the time of the break in.
All you need to do (which I failed to do) is carefully read their contract. It becomes obvious that they do business in bad faith and have no intention of standing by their work.

Horrible customer service! Constant problems and no shows when alarm engaged! No return phone calls from their service department is a regular order of business with them. Been an on going disappointment since my initial signing of their service contract!

THIS IS FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING SERVICE WITH THIS COMPANY
Do not give them your hard earned money — I have owned and operated a small business in the downtown Ventura area for over 18 years, for the last 8 we have chosen to do business with this company as we should all support our local businesses.
We signed a 5 year commitment that then renews annually — I approached the company through phone conversation to terminate service due to a business relocation and was quickly told our services would end when I needed and final bill would be processed.
When I was billed again that next month I contacted the company and was explained that it needed to be done in writing, via email — completed that, but since that was now done less than 60 days from the annual renewal of our agreement I now had to pay for a full year of service. When you look at the original agreement it is very cleverly written into the first page — WATCH OUT! Companies that force you to jump through hoops to cancel service even after your initial agreement has ended have something to hide — call someone with a better reputation and DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY!

Good news, bad news. We had a small alarm service install and monitor our Santa Barbara home for a number of years, then they went out of business. We checked with other firms, had Draganchuk (Mr. Draganchuk, in fact) come out to give us a proposal. They said they could take us over with no additional charges or extra installations, and we were happy with their service for several years. That was the good news.
Then the bad news. We sold our home and told the new owners how happy we had been with Draganchuk, and recommended that they continue the service. Then we called Draganchuk to switch the billing, and received a very snippy and condescending letter sayinng that we did not cancel within the contractual time window, and therefore had to pay for the remainder of the year. Plus, they would not let the new homeowners pick up the service at the same rate. Needless to say, the new homeowners did not want to renew the service with a firm having such an attitude, I can’t blame them. I wish I had read all the reviews on Unilocal before signing with them the first time!

We informed dragansuck that our tenants boyfriend was barred from our property due to domestic incidents sent them his name a photo and all pertinent info. have they kept him off the property? no. why is my rent paying for security that doeant keep property secure?

Very poor customer service. If you want to cancel they force you to keep paying for another 60 days. Very difficult to get responses to inquiries. When our business had a window pane smashed through no alarm went off. I felt my questions were very low priority for them. They do not use modern technology and I’ve had repeated issues with the alarm causing lack of connectivity for my DSL service even after adding a separate line devoted only to the alarm.

I have used this company, and highly recommend them.
The installation is exactly what I wanted, and the price was average to good.
