Stopped in to get some new glasses. Stood around waiting awkwardly by the display case for 10 minutes. No one greeted me or acknowledged me. The salespeople do that waiter thing where they stare straight ahead looking into the distance so you can’t get their attention. You know what I’m talking about. I left and went elsewhere.

I have been a customer of the Ventura branch for at least five sets of glasses. The owner Greg is a very nice person. Helped me out, thanks. I have to say that George, who works in front and in the back really knows his trade. George is the most down to earth guy. I had a little situation and right away George saw what was wrong. Fixed the problem, I am very happy. George is an asset to your company. I plan on dealing with George from now on.

The person who helped me was very kind, but in the end I felt I didn’t really get what I paid for. I ended up with two pairs of rather cheap looking glasses with plastic lenses, for upwards of $ 350.00. They were progressive lenses, which understandably adds to the cost, plus I paid for the better quality lenses — but it’s still plastic. They’re not what I would expect for the price. Also, the one hour wait they claim, was actually a four hour wait for finished product.
I won’t be going back.

My first time at The SB Eyeglass Factory. Had purchased a Groupon and wanted prescription sunglasses. On all counts, this was an excellent experience! Professional and fun. I love my glasses. This is definitely my new ToGo eyeglass place!

I’ve reviewed this business before and am back to report that they are still doing a good job! It’s refreshing to walk into a business and be greeted by courteous and helpful employees who know their products and do what they say they will do. I had a small issue with a pair of glasses I bought this year, and Angie went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the repair. Great glasses for half the price at my eye doctor’s place. Stylish frames, too.

Great Place! They have a good selection of frames at very reasonable prices. They are also very good and getting you what you want and having you leave happy. Even when I made a mistake in getting curved sunglasses (thick glasses don’t curve well) against their recommendations, they fixed it by getting me new frames and lenses at no charge to me. They were patient and helpful and really went above and beyond to get me in glasses I liked that still accommodated my very strong prescription. I will be back next month to order a pair of driving glasses and maybe another set of everyday frames.

I have been coming here for many years. I should get new glasses every year although I confess I skipped last year. Last week I went there to choose my two frames (one for clear, one for sunglasses) and I was very disappointed in the selection. Unlike many customers, I want 100% plastic frames and the SB Eyeglass Factory has never disappointed. This year I purchased the best of the lot, but the frames are really cheesy compared to mine from previous years. Next year, I plan to take my old frames in and simply have new lens’ put in. In fact, I’m toying with taking those frames down and getting this year’s prescription installed today!

I needed glasses asap, but I’m so surprised that I didn’t come here first! I went to 3 different places before coming here, and I’m not going anywhere else! I got the buy one get one free frame, and I love both pairs.
What disappointed me was that my fav pair out of the 2 BROKE IN 2 months! I took them in the next day and they replaced them no questions asked. Everyone there is super friendly, professional, polite, and worked with me to the very end. Sure, the frames are cheap, but I still like them.

I was on the road and the screw in my glasses came out. I looked a little foolish with one of the ear pieces missing. So I looked up the Eyeglass Factory on Unilocal.It was just a short drive from my hotel. After a short wait I showed the service representative what I had. He fixed it immediately and also gave the lenses a good cleaning for no charge. I was so pleased that I bought some lens cleaner. He told me when it was empty to bring the container back and they would refill it for free. What a deal!

These glasses are cheap. I’ve bought a frame and they broke 3 times. They told me the reason was you get what you pay for, really? That’s your response. So I threw a fit. They were kind enough to work with me and suggest a stronger frame, they waved the fees and make them for me, ready the next day. Well guess what. These broke. Now I have worse glasses for years so I know how to care for them. Simply put these frames here are cheaply made. I will be writing to the owner of the company to express my frustration with having to constantly go back for weak frames

I stumbled upon their groupon and decided I needed a new pair of prescription eyeglasses (since the Prada eyeglasses I owned went back from 2007 and most of the rhinestones have fallen out lol).
I went in looking for top notch name brands and the ones I fell in love with were purple Jimmy Choo frames! The price was $ 289 for the frames alone and I was able to save $ 100 with my groupon on my total purchase so it was as if I was paying $ 189 for those Jimmy Choos.
With my cray vision, it took a week for my eyeglasses to get produced with the thin lens and they called me right away when they were done. Easy pick up and adjustment on site (which I had to return to the Camarillo SBEF to get another adjustment because it fit uncomfortably initially) but they did an overall awesome job!
I’m really happy about my purchase and looking forward to wearing my cute frames :) I definitely recommend either Ventura or Camarillo locations because both businesses offer above and beyond customer service!

Amazing, let me say it again, AMAZING customer service!!! My son broke the arm on my wife’s glasses while we were on vacation in Ventura. We found an old set of glasses that the arm would fit. I have arthritis in my hand from injuries and couldn’t put the new arms on. Eyeglass Factory did it for me and then refused to take my money. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I haven’t seen service like that since I was a young kid thirty some odd years ago. This is the place to go for your eye care. I will drive all those miles from Gorman and be back and take my family’s vision needs to them even though it is out of my insurance. The customer service alone is worth it. Thank you Eyeglass Factory!!! Saved my butt and my vacation!!!

Extremely convenient place to get new glasses. They are right next door to an optometrist, who can get you in and out with your eye check up. At Eyeglass Factory, there’s a huge variety of glasses to choose from, with endless brands throughout the whole store, ranging from low to high prices for wherever your budget falls.
They have an onsite lab in the back and are able to prepare your glasses right there and then. They advertise your glasses will be ready in an hour, but chances are, they’ll be ready in only 15 minutes!
They have a special where it’s buy a frame, get the next frame free, and you only have to pay for half price of the lens. I completely recommend this place if you’re looking for new glasses!

This is THE best eyeglass store!!! I was visiting from out-​of-​town and my glasses broke, so I was a little freaked out. The Eyeglass Factory in Camarillo saved the day! I went in and they were so helpful, had an amazing selection, and the prices were unbelievably reasonable! And, what a gorgeous store with everything displayed so beautifully. It was so easy to just try on tons of cool frames. Best of all, my replacement pair was ready in ONE HOUR, thanks to their onsite lab. I wish we had a store like this where I live!

Just want to give a «shout out» :-D to SB Eyeglass Factory for being true to their guarantee. My new prescription did NOT work for my eyes; even after I got the rx adjusted with a second eye exam, still no bueno. The folks at Eyeglass Factory remade both my new glasses and sunglasses TWO times, for a total of THREE times, before we got it right. And did I mention they did it for NO charge? And didn’t even give me a hard time about it. That’s what I call customer service. Now I have glasses that don’t hurt my eyes (yay!) and will trot off into the sunset (which is much clearer now)… thanks, SB Eyeglass Factory. I appreciate it.

The ladies I worked with were so helpful and I was amazed at how quickly everything took. Normally, at other places, I’d be waiting what seemed like forever… At this place, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes — with the new lenses. It must be all about timing. We joked and talked while the technicians added new lenses to existing frames and they really could not have had better attitudes.

I love my sunglasses! Great price too and really nice people to work with in getting them ordered! Do be careful that you don’t end up with plastic-​like lenses.

My brother told me about this place. I had a hard time finding glasses at Costco, and it takes mother freakingly at least a week and a half long to get yous glasses. Finally went to this place because I needed glasses a.s.a.p. Samantha, one of the employee at SB eyeglass Factory helped us out. I took forever in choosing which frames to get, they were my first pair, so I was being picky. It probably took me almost an hour to finally make a decision.
Samantha tried to look for the pair I like in black, but I guess they sold the last pair, so I settled with dark brown [close enough to black]. She told us to come back in an hour to pick up my glasses, I was happy to hear that.
The glasses here are not as bad, they don’t rip you off like they do at Lens Crafters. My little brother bought a pair at Lens Crafters and found the same exact one here and only paid half or even more than half of what he paid at Lens Crafters. He ended up returning the ones he bought, and got the ones at SB eyeglass factory. I guess you can say, you can compare the prices with Costco
I recommend this place if you need new pair of glasses =)
