I had been to a few places getting an estimate on sizing an antique ring when I came to Gems by Joseph. For just being a kiosk in the mall, I was blown away by the service. I was helped by Michelle who gets the best sales person of the year award from me! She took her time and answered all questions, offering additional options and useful information without being pushy at all. On top of that, they had the best deal on what I was looking for. Ill definitely go back there.

I would have given this 5 stars if i didn’t know how poorly they’re being made. Too the newcombers Let The Buyer BEWARE! have receipts taking me back for 13 years with Joseph Gems so here is where it all began! Yes reasonable a matter of opinion and everybody has one so here goes.
1. 1^st ring I bought was a trillion setting baguette 1200.00 on law away plan
2. After paying off put another ring on law away plan. So every time a payment made baguette ring was cleaned and diamonds checked as stated when I bought but what they failed to say at all they should have had me sign paper that they have that they verified stoned conditions including chipped or loose this was a 3 piece diamond/​Ruby this ring about 1500.00 pictures of all will follow.
It needed more gold… I took things every six months as stated for warranty but what I was never told you need to have them sign some type of former for proof.

We had my wedding anniversary band made here nearly ten years ago. We worked with a different manager then, but he was great and worked on matching the integrity of the eternity band diamonds to the diamond solitaire that I had in my engagement ring. We went back recently to look at upgrading my ring, and we worked with Chris. Chris is outstanding. A Ventura native, he is prideful on servicing his community. He is honest, and fair. He wants you to leave happy with your purchase, and works with you to make certain it is the best deal for everyone. Alex, an associate there, is great as well. I recommend working with Chris and the team there to get what you are hoping for!

I honestly didn’t think that we would buy any jewelry from a kiosk in the mall. I would always pass by this when I would be there. It just so happens that my husband and I wanted to sell our wedding jewelry in place of new ones for our vow renewal. We had no plans to buy. Just sell. We’ve went to 4 different jewelers who bought gold and diamonds. We had no luck with all of them so we thought «why not, just one more» and it was on our way out. They appraised our rings and we were not thrilled with how much they wanted to offer us. Btw Shira and Alex helped us. My husband had a lot of questions and wanted to be educated about diamonds and gold. They were really nice and informative. We learned so much and learned how ripped off we were with our rings before… It all made sense to us. They offered to trade my rings while my husband kept his, for a new ring. The trade in value was acceptable and fair. So I thought it wouldn’t hurt to look. When I asked about a rose gold morganite ring, omggggg… They showed me 2 and all I can say is that there was a 7 ½ ct morganite ring I couldn’t take my eyes off of. I tried it on and it even fit perfectly. I am not a jewelry person. But this ring hooked me in! And I even have payments on a morganite ring elsewhere. Luckily the place I had placed payments on is refundable… I couldn’t say no! My husband thought it was gorgeous on me. So, I decided to do a trade in and make payments! The other amazing thing was, shira made us an offer we could not refuse for my husband! a rose gold tungsten ring! So we have a matching set. She felt bad that we were not educated by previous jewelers that sold us our previous wedding bands that we paid an arm and a leg for. Wished we knew about this place from the beginning of. But then again if we did we wouldn’t have the beautiful rings they sold us! Such great customer service and over all just beautiful rings they have! Thank you!

I bought a new wedding band here and I would say that the owner Joseph will try to hard sell you with a few deals. You can find jewelry online for less than half the price but when it comes down to it, you can look and see the quality that you are buying and not go through all the rigmarole of finding something that doesn’t fit or something that looked different in the pictures. He does have a good selection, but be prepared to haggle.

A big thanks to Michelle Z and Joseph for all of their help with finding the right ring for my #1 lady. They have a huge variety and are really great to discuss custom designs with. Definitely plan to stop by if you’re looking for something original. :)

I don’t buy much Jewelry but I did buy some gold earrings for my girl they were good priced I think, but most of all they had what I was looking for which took me like 5 stores to find. The tall guy was nice and they do all kinds of stuff on sight here that you would not believe in a little booth.

I have purchased many items from Joseph’s over the last 10 plus years and every time everyone there is helpful and informative. Highly recommend for unique one of a kind items that you do not see coming and going

I bought my husband’s wedding ring here. I was concerned because it’s a kiosk, versus a «real store». Don’t know what I was thinking. Olivia helped me. My best friend was with me. She asked my price range and pulled out a lot of different choices in gold and tungsten. Even though we were in the middle of a very busy Saturday afternoon, in the middle of the mall, she made the experience very pleasant. Very customer service orientated. We set aside a few choices. Since I was leaning toward the tungsten rings for my husband he needed to try them on because they can’t be sized. I came back the next day, Sunday (03÷06÷11) with my husband to be. He chose one of the tungsten rings I picked out. Olivia was very helpful. The price fair. I will be back. Thanks for giving us a nice experience. We got married 03÷14÷11. My husband thinks his ring is «cool».
