Joshua Burt received his law degree from the prestigious Northwestern University Law School in Chicago, Illinois in 2002. Prior to law school, Joshua attended UCLA, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Physiological Sciences in 1998.

Joshua’s legal experience includes trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, patents, employment disputes, breaches of contract, personal injury, fraud, Americans with Disability Act disputes, and other civil litigation matters.

Following law school, Joshua joined the well respected, international law firm Howrey LLP in its Los Angeles office. While at Howrey LLP, Joshua represented numerous large clients, including Fortune 500 companies, in a variety of trademark, copyright, trade dress, and patent disputes.

Upon moving to Ventura in 2008, Joshua joined the firm of Ferguson Case Orr Paterson LLP, where he represented individual and business clients in intellectual property and general civil litigation matters.

In 2009, Joshua opened his own firm.
