History

Established in 2009.

Our Upland office serves the San Gabriel and Inland Empire areas of Southern California and our Victorville office serves the communities of Victorville, Apple Valley, Hesperia and Barstow in the High Desert. Both offices provide property management and real estate sales.

Our company began after the real estate crash of 2008 with a buy, rehab and flip strategy in residential real estate. In late 2009, we decided to implement a longer term buy and hold strategy. With this new strategy came the need for property management services. Being unable to find a property manager that we felt really understood the unique requirements of residential and commercial owners, we decided to expand our in-​house property management company to offer services to the general public.

This unique background and experience enables us to really understand what owners need and expect in a property manager; communication, responsiveness and ethical business practices.

Steve Shwetz is the managing broker for Mesa Property Management. Steve holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and has held various sales and marketing positions in the technology and medical device industries. He has started several successful companies and is an active real estate investor.

Apparently they make their own vicious dog breed list. They just tell you your dog is vicious and you have to accept it. They won’t even consider you otherwise. This right here as an immediate shutdown and won’t even consider you as an option? On top of all this, they refused to share their «list» of aggressive breeds. Also, by the way my dog is a Boxer, which if you search top aggressive dogs in any state, you’ll very seldom see Boxers anywhere on those lists. To entirely reject a potential renter on the personal judgement of a single non-​aggressive dog breed is just unfair. Dogs take on the personality of how their owners raise them.

Yes I understand insurance companies have their own list that they provide. However, if Boxer is on said list, then I’m assuming 90 percent of dogs are on that list considering boxers are of the least aggressive breeds of dogs. Your company should not come up as a «pet friendly company» without also stating the list is very exclusive. Also, when my wife requested the list, the person who responded said «Unfortunately, Boxers are on the list of breeds we do not work with.» If the list is so readily available, it should not have been more than a simple scan and click to send it. Terrible communication. Eventually received an email denying application to rent a property because my «rental history could not be verified». More accurately, they never called my leasing office or attempted to verify anything. Good thing we didn’t wait around, ended up finding a much better property with landlords who had no problem verifying my rental history. Amazing. If you are a renter, beware of Mesa… they are slow and never return phone calls.

Steve and his team at Mesa Property Management are fantastic! They have been managing my properties for more than a year, and they have always been very professional, efficient, and dependable. At one time, there was a gas leak in the garage. Josh quickly arranged for the gas company to inspect and fix the gas leak on the same day that the gas leak was detected. I sincerely appreciate such great service!

Sheree is awesome! Very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to finding a tenant. As a landlord for years, it’s very hard to find good property management that have a range of experience as well as patience.
She was available whenever myself or tenants needed her and so helpful answering everyone’s questions. She’s first on my list to call. I look forward to working with her again for all my property mgmt needs.

They say bad credit is ok, that’s a lie. Our credit was good and still didn’t get approved. Have great rental history. Made more than enough money and still denied. They said couldn’t verify income, I gave them a new number and still didn’t help is out. I went to the office to try and explain my situation and they were so rude and loud about my application, talking about it in front of customers I was so embarrased, I cried when I left. I couldn’t believe she did that. They didn’t even give me a chance to explain or offer anything. what a waste of $ 75. Sherree was her name, just rude!

I love how Mesa Property manages like they are the owner. Anyone can manage well when all is well, but what happens when it gets messy? After four years of smooth property managing of our four desert properties, one tenant’s financial wheels came off. They couldn’t pay their rent now or in the future. It was a mess. Beau, Mesa’s manager on my properties, skillfully negotiated a transition of the leaving tenant, organized a property clean up and moved in a new tenant, all in 25 days. With vacancies, time is money.
Mesa and Beau get it! Mesa is responsive, responsible, trustworthy and easy to work with. We have owned rentals since 1977 and Mesa is as good as you get

We lived there for almost 5 years but had to move out of state. Everyone at Mesa was friendly and professional. If you need a rental home you will be very happy with Mesa.

i have (/​had) one house in victorville and put for sale in september, 2015 after 2 years renting (through other management companies) but did not get sell till mid november (now in escrow)
what was the motive for selling the house?
i had very very very very bad experience from my previous management companies, they treat you horribly and behave like that they are the owner of the house, there were so many hurdles and finally i decided to sale the house just because i did not find anybody in high desert to manage my property, you are at mercy of your property management company. thats all i can say.
when my house did not sell, till mid november, i decided to find another property management company. after carefully scrutinizing all companies i finally chosen mesa property management, and here my totally different experience started. i came in touch with sherree stewart, (she is amazing). i asked tons and tons of questions to them based on my previous experience with other companies that i used for renting. sherree had wonderfully answered all my questions so well that i became enough knowledgeable to convince myself about their services and their way of operating their business which cares for client. they work for your interest and what works best for you.
unfortunately, before i sign the contract with them i got an purchase offer on my house in last hour and i did not sign the contract and now my house in escrow and about to close in mid-​december.
but based on my experience and questions i asked i am fully convinced that next time if somebody ask me or if i need to give any property for management, i will call sherree first from mesa property. they are awesome.
guys guys guys, dont waste your time finding other companies go for mesa property, right away… and have piece of mind regarding your property. i dont see any reason why someone would not go with mesa property. if you really care about your property you gotta go with mesa property thats the only address for you.
thanks sherree for your help and assisting me, unfortunately, we were not able to work with you since we got an offer before we were about to sign a contract with mesa property management.
i am 101% recommending mesa property for their service and care for their client.

If there were 10 stars I would give them 10. Josh Long is the best! My parents needed a house ASAP and Josh bent over backwards to get my parents a house. I highly recommend this company for property management. As the tenant, they made the process to apply simple and painless.
