Specialties
Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Consultation and Psychotherapy.
As a psychotherapist, I have an integrative theoretical orientation, grounded in existential and humanistic psychology, drawing from psychodynamic, systemic, and cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches. I seek to promote understanding of a person’s unique perspective and consideration of the context and systems within which he/she lives.
Therapy may be brief and problem or symptom focused, or more analytical and oriented to insight and personal transformation. My specialties include: psychotherapy with adults, adolescents, families, couples and relationships, and groups; life transitions around adolescence, mid-life and seniority; sexual identity, orientation, dysfunction, harassment and paraphilia; personality assessment; consultation to organizations; and legal reports.
History
