I am in the market for an electric Smart car to lease. I reached out to this dealer who informed me there are «no dealer incentives in Virginia for electric cars so we don’t carry them».
I asked if any in Maryland or DC do to which they said yes. I asked if he could recommend a dealer that I could go to, to which he informed me there was no benefit to him in recommending another dealer to me.
I am in the customer service industry, in fact that is the only product I sell. If I can’t find what you need I will gladly tell you where you can go to find it. By clearly stating that our interaction was based solely on what does and does not benefit him indicates to me that they do not care about their customers but only about the bottom line.
I will not be going to their store to even look at what they do have and I will NOT be recommending them to ANY of my friends, employees, or customers.
It’s a shame they missed an opportunity to make an ally if not a future customer.

I’m always scared to get my car serviced at the dealer because they can be a bit on the expensive side. Well, I am one happy camper today. My Smart Fortwo was hit with a quadruple whammy: oil change, check engine light, transmission issues and the horn stopped working. I got there this morning and Cesar, my service adviser, went over the possible costs for me. The car is out of warranty, which means over $ 100 just for the diagnostic. Great. Just what I was afraid of. They would look at the rest and call me later in the day. The have a shuttle (a nice black Mercedes 4 door!) that took me to work. I was pretty happy about that.
Cesar calls me and tells me that the oil change is done. The check engine light was a loose gas cap, which the fixed for no cost since it was such a small issue. They didn’t charge me for the diagnostic either. But my horn is dead and the transmission needs a software update. Ok… how much? They just charged me for the horn and oil change. Oh. My. God. If I weren’t married, I might have just kissed Cesar. They’re coming to pick me up at work when I’m done to go get my car.
I am BEYOND happy with the service I received. I will definitely be bringing the car back for any future service. And my husband’s been itching to maybe trade in our little Smarty, so we will DEFINITELY come here when we’re ready for get a new one. Thanks Cesar!

Great sales people poor service center.

Katie’s review is so accurate, I have very little to add. Zack and his team do a great job making you feel entirely comfortable; everything was answered to our satisfaction, they worked hard to find a model that met our needs and we also had the experience of driving out the same day with a wonderful car that has served us fabulously during the last year.
Since getting the car, we have been able to call with a couple of questions and everyone has been responsive and straightforward. Simply an entirely different sense of owning a car than either of us have experienced – terrific.

So many people have given up on the little cars and these guys have not. They are smack in the middle of the worst Metro building mess this side of the universe but I will walk there to have Sam Rachidi and Aaron take care of my Smart anytime. They are thorough, explain everything before it happens & are honest. No sugar coating anything either. I got straight forward information on my bill from Sam and was treated to good, old fashioned car service! No belittleling or condescending talk from anyone… Very refreshing coming from a bunch of mechanics and car salesmen. Bonus, you get to look at some handsome Mercedes…
They would get five stars if they were not fifteen miles away from my home, not a problem if I can drive my Smart to them. I do not want to think how much a tow bed truck would cost!

Going to a smart center to look at smart cars is a little tough, only because you kind of just want to hug all of the little cars — they’re so damn cute! If you make the decision to take one of these little guys home, you can’t go wrong at the dealer. Here’s why: the car dealers will get personal with you, break things down to real numbers and no hidden costs, won’t swindle you, and won’t low-​ball themselves, either. Why, you might ask, would a car dealer act so honestly? The answer is this: their customers are a unique bunch, and the cars essentially sell themselves because if you decide you want one, you’re going to get one and not have to weigh in all kinds of competition factors of other cars.
I decided I wanted one, and I wanted mine in the convertible variety, and I happened to also want the limited edition Brabus, and I wanted it now. I spent all day making phone calls to Zach at the smart center, and making other phone calls to banks and insurance companies and then called Zach again… he was always there for me. I showed up with a friend and dog in tow, and Zach and all of the other staff took their time to be very friendly and helpful, and gave the dog some water, too.
I walked into the smart center at Tysons Corner as a first-​time new car buyer, and I drove out with the exact car I wanted, at a price that felt right, within the same afternoon… including all of the paperwork needed to get financing (and Zamir helped me find a low rate) and paperwork for tags.
That’s right — I walked in and drove out the same day, happy. Not a common feeling at a car dealership, I imagine.
