Established in 2006.

Study Sparkz provides in-​home tutoring and test preparation for K-​12 and college students. Since 2006, we have helped hundreds on students in the Washington, DC area reach their academic goals.

Meet the Business Owner

Farooq C.

Business Owner

Farooq is the Founder and CEO of Study Sparkz, employing over 200 tutors in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

As a recipient of tutoring himself as a child, Farooq was able to learn at a quick pace and was able to graduate from high school two years early where we was able to attend a top university. After working in the business world for several years, Farooq once again used personalizing tutoring to help perform well on the LSAT and gain admission to law school.

Farooq’s positive experiences with tutoring were what inspired him to create Study Sparkz. He believes that all children deserve an opportunity to achieve their immediate goals and become successful lifelong learners.
