All The Rage Studio I Do

I absolutely loved my experience at this store. I have shopped here over the years for prom and a few ball’s I attended and they not only have the best selection in the area but I know I’ll find something that looks great and fits perfect. My most recent experience was for a wedding dress. Ashley spent a lot of time getting to know me and my vision for my wedding to find me the perfect dress, which I did! I ended up not getting that dress due to a venue change but I will never forget the feeling I had that day. I went back for a second time and Ashley helped me find a veil that went perfect with my dress! Ps… can we talk about the new renovation they just completed?! It is BEAUTIFUL! The bridal area is separate from the prom/​special occasion dress side so you get that extra special attention and are separate from other shoppers.

This store has done a total 180 in the past few years… the renovations are gorgeous, the selection of gowns is like nowhere else in Hampton Roads and experience you get there is flawless. The women working at All the Rage are helpful, complimentary, and highly professional. They have a huge selection of gowns to fit any and all styles for your wedding or special occasion. The staff will make you feel so special as soon as you walk in the door and you’ll leave feeling amazing. I definitely recommend stopping by to experience it for yourself!

Well it’s Valentines Day weekend and I’m off for my annual+ outing to the darling All the Rage in Va Beach. It occurred to me I have not told you about this local treasure!
Hmmm…what can I say about this little gem? I’ve been in the area for a LONG time and for some (magical) reason have had frequent interactions, you might say, w this establishment. It started w VOW, only the BIGGEST & most PRESTIGIOUS Bridal Event to date. All the Rage plays center stage, as they should, w their gorgeous inventory and the models that look so absolutely stunning on the runway. Now that’s just THE SHOW.
All the Rage, IMO, has been Hampton Roads absolute ‘go to’ for all of your formal needs, hence my many visits! From Prom, to the infamous Noblemen’s Valentines Ball and of course your wedding day. The selection is infinite and awe inspiring! The Customer Service is exquisite.
Recently they have renewed their own vows w a complete renovation of the store, including owner Ashley McAchran to add her enchanting touch which is reflected throughout the store and in the personally tailored service you will receive! There really isn’t any other place like it!
All the Rage is just pure ROMANCE. It’s that simple. If you want the best, to look your best, to feel your best, to BE the best, this is the place to go and the people to see!
Put All the Rage on your Bucket List of visiting, aka getting immersed in, Local Charm & Sophistication. You’ll feel ravishing & he/​she will notice!

I cannot stress enough how instrumental Owner, Ashley McAchran, was in finding my perfect dream bridal gown! I am so head over heels in love with it and am so thankful to have had her help!
The staff at Studio I Do/​All The Rage is the sweetest group of girls I have ever met. Even though Ashley was my consultant, other girls popped in to check on my multiple times and of course made me feel beautiful when I was standing out on the floor.
The store is clean and newly renovated (I saw the store a few years ago under a previous owner and it wasn’t nearly as fresh and updated as it is NOW). No drinks allowed around the bridal gowns, so leave your Starbucks at the door! Totally understandable… I’m the one with butter fingers! Friendly staff, and an overall pleasant experience! They even featured me on their Facebook page after purchasing my gown holding a lovely «she said yes» sign! What’s not to love?!

This is my second wedding and first time getting to experience this. I had already gone dress shopping the day before and thought that was a good experience… Ashley and All the Rage Studio I Do was AMAZING! Her knowledge of the gowns, her experience and professionalism was so apparent. It was a fantastic day and memory with all my special girls. I said YES to my dress!

Had a great experience at All the Rage! Ashley was so helpful and very kind. She knew her stuff! I had a lot of fun picking out my wedding dress. I found my dream dress and am so excited!

I tried on wedding dresses at Studio I Do. I loved my consultant Jill! She was very patient, helpful, and insightful. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. I really love the renovations too. My only suggestion would be to put a mirror in the dressing room so the bride can get a peek at the dress before showing her family. I would have liked to form some type of opinion before showing everyone.

Great place for bridal just don’t go during prom season which is way too crowded to even enjoy a fitting. I kind of wish they had warned me about it. I would have just switched to a different day. I actually got prom dresses there years ago and that’s why this place came to mind for bridal. I loved them then so why not. I tried 3 other bridal shops as well and this seemed the most evenly priced not too cheap with good quality and not over priced either. I’ve ordered my wedding dress and my brides maids have ordered theirs were just waiting for that to come and hopefully things still go smoothly or I may be updating my review. But so far a good place to shop.

I got my wedding dress here! They have a large selection of allure wedding dresses which is the kind I got. If you are looking for wide range of lace wedding dresses. this is the place to go to! My consultant was very friendly and gave me a free veil, free shipping, and free garment bag because my fiancé was military! I gave it four stars because when they measured me to order the dress size, I don’t think they ordered the correct dress size for me. When I received the dress, it was very small and I had to have it altered. I checked on the allure website for dress sizes and according to my waist size, the consultant should have ordered the next size up. I Would still tell brides to check this place out but make sure they order the right size for you.

I would not recommend this dress shop to ANYONE! I took my daughter to All the Rage last April to find a prom dress based on the reputation I thought the store had. We did find a dress, but I was not impressed with the customer service or lack thereof. We took the dress back for alterations which cost an additional $ 136. Unfortunately, my daughter’s plans changed and she did not go to the prom. We did not pick up the dress right away as my daughter was upset and I did not want her to have to look at the dress. I called the store about a month later and explained the situation. I was told that it was no problem and the dress would be there when I came to pick it up.
To be honest, I completely forgot about the dress until I found the receipt 10 months later. I called the store to tell them what happened and the salesperson I spoke with said the dress was probably in the storeroom and that she would check and call me back. About an hour later, the store manager called to inform me that the dress was not in the storeroom and had most likely been donated to charity. She said that they had left numerous messages regarding the dress and their intention to donate it if it was not picked up in a timely manner. I never received a message or I would have definitely picked up the dress immediately. I have the sales receipt for the dress and the receipt for alterations. Nowhere on either receipt does it state that the dress will be donated to charity if it is not picked up within a certain amount of time. I did notice on the alteration receipt that the contact phone number that was written by the salesperson or the seamstress was an incorrect number. My assumption is that they called the wrong number and left messages regarding the dress. Again, I never received a message about the dress.
The store manager was going to check with the seamstress to see if she possibly still had the dress and was going to call me back that afternoon. I did not hear from her that day nor the next until I called her to inquire about the dress. She informed me that the seamstress did not have the dress, it was donated, and they were not a storage facility. I told her that that was unacceptable and that the store should either refund me the total cost of the dress and alterations which is $ 477 or they should issue me a store credit in that amount. She told me that the store owner was aware of at the situation and had no intention of doing either. I then informed her that I would be filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau.

The women who work here are very rude and stuck up! I took my daughter in to try a dress on for her dad’s wedding and gave them the style # and all they did was get her measurements without trying a dress on. Her dad called the store to let them know what he needed exactly (didn’t think by me saying we needed for her to try on a dress and get fitted was too hard to understand). Anyhow my daughter went back in and they put her in dress that was like 4 sizes too big. What was the point? When I walked back in after she was done, the older lady said that that was the only dress in that style and that the store in TX could just order it off her measurements. The problem that I tried explaining was that a bridesmaid in her dad’s party couldn’t order her dress based off measurements because she ended up having to get a dress 4 sizes smaller. Instead of the staff here being more helpful and understanding, they were nothing more than disrespectful! So if the owner Melissa Harmon reads this, I’d appreciate it if you provided these women with customer service training and a class on manners to help get their heads out of their asses!

Had the best experience at All the Rage, would highly recommend visiting them for your wedding gown!

A formal wear super-​boutique, All the Rage is the envy of every high school prom-​going girl and a Bride’s dream. Their dresses range from the very pretty to pretty gaudy. But there’s a huge selection to choose from, so I’m sure you’ll find something to make you look simply smashing.
If you’ve got the cash and the occasion, All the Rage is your place. I have neither and am no where close to getting married but I saw a wedding dress that made me shudder with its beauty. Hyperbole, but you get the picture. Beautifully crafted, unique, perfect material – that’s what you get for the cost at All the Rage.

Bleh.
Though I already have a wedding dress picked out, I thought maybe I would do some legwork and see what All the Rage had to offer before I made any purchases. I walked unknowingly into bridal hell.
All of the dresses are Cinderella, bedazzled style, which, though awesome for some, is pretty limiting. They’re all shown in ivory, because, according to an employee, they don’t show the dirt accumulated from people trying them on. Gag me.
I asked if they had anything more bohemian since I’m having a low key shindig and can’t imagine me looking like a polyester marshmallow. Both of the staff members looked at me like I was on crack and after a minute of complete silence, asked if I meant flowy. Sure, flowy works.
Flowy led me to a rack of deflated marshmallows. I told them thanks and that I’d keep them in mind, when they decided to show more interest. When they asked when I was getting hitched and I told them the end of the month, they laughed, said good luck, and turned away.
Oh well. To each their poofy own.

New ownership and I am looking forward to updating this review.

I’ve only shopped here for special occasion dresses (not bridal), but All the Rage has a great selection. They carry popular bridesmaid dress designers you see in bridal magazines. This store should definitely be at the top of your list when shopping around at special occasion/​bridal boutiques in the area. From what I can tell, their prices are about average compared to other shops.

I bought my wedding gown here and they have very comparable prices. Their selection isn’t the largest in the area, but they make up for it in customer service. I was very pleased with my experience there.
