Final Analysis Home Inspection Service

Final Analysis did an A+ job. I’ve hired home inspectors before who started by telling me what they do not do and all their caveats. Final Analysis started by telling me how thorough they are and gave me examples to back it up. But, what sold me was their consistent 5 star ratings.
The inspection was a thorough as advertised. There were some big ticket items found such as wood rot and problems with a moisture mitigation system in the crawlspace. The whole list added up to thousands of dollars I would have been on the hook for. I do not yet know if the house deal will go through. But if not, I consider myself lucky to have hired Final Analysis to tell me what I would have been getting into.
In addition to a very detailed & easy to read report, Final Analysis spoke with me by phone for about 30 minutes. I learned several other things about the imminent costs I could face. For example, he informed me the windows that were installed were bottom-​line with a limited life expectance. He also told me he noticed there were no water gutters on the home and that could contribute to moisture problems around the foundation.
I am also impressed by the fact Final Analysis avoids all conflicts of interest with the customer who hires them. For example, my real estate agent could not meet Final Analysis during normal business hours. So, Final Analysis told him there would be a $ 75 after-​hours charge. My real estate agent told Final Analysis to bill him directly for the charge. Final Analysis told him they would not accept money from anybody other than myself because that would be a conflict of interest. I could go on-​and-​on, but I will sum it up by saying the best money I spent this month was in hiring Final Analysis.

Dan did an excellent job. I can’t think of a negative thing to say about this company. Dan was extensive in his explanation over the phone before I decided to hire him and reviewed the house online with me over the phone before inspecting the home. Dan arrived at 9am for the inspection and I had the extensive and detailed report ready the same evening.

Fast, efficient, and top quality reporting. This is one of three inspections I have ever purchased and by far the most thorough. Team was very interactive and friendly which made them easy to work with and the report was delivered within hours.

My husband and I are in the process of buying a home and we came across all of the reviews for Final Analysis while searching for a home inspector. We decided to give them a try and I’m really happy we did!
Dan was very courteous both over the phone and in person, and didn’t mind when I bugged him with extra phone calls for questions that came up before our scheduled appointment. I was able to book the appointment for two days out as well, which was perfect.
My husband and I arrived early the day of, and Adam and Chris were already there starting the inspection. They were incredibly polite and thorough through the whole process and took the time to explain every little thing they’d come across so far. Dan was able to stop by as well for a bit and also shared some insights while we walked the property. Overall I believe the appointment took about two hours total.
After they were finished, Adam gave a very detailed summary of what they’d come across in the house, and we had our completed report from them in just a few hours. Final Analysis’s level of customer service was top notch as well as their expertise, and we will definitely be recommending them to everyone we know! :)

I had a bit of trouble navigating their website due to the complexity of the prospective property. I called and Dan was very helpful and accommodating over the phone. I informed him that I was a bit skeptical because all of his reviews were 5 stars. I am glad I chose Final Analysis. These guys were early (on a Saturday) which is quite surprising. When I pulled up to the property (early), Dan and his guys were already climbing on stuff and getting information from different places on the property. They even walked me through some of the discrepancies they were looking at and took their time in explaining. I cannot echo the comments already made about their friendliness, expertise, and professionalism. After finishing up his report he determined that I was being overcharged and dropped the price on the spot. The report is very detailed and informative. I will definitely use his service again and again.

Adam and Chris Comeau came to the property we are purchasing and did a full home inspection as well as a termite and moisture inspection. They were able to schedule me two days out, which really helped me meet my quick closing date. Each inspection was quite detailed and provided extremely valuable information. The reports included tons of pictures and videos as well. I highly recommend Adam and Chris!

My wife and I could not have been happier with the job done. The inspection was great and they explained everything that happened afterwards and took a bunch of photographs. The documents were helpful and descriptive and gave tips to improve everything inside the house and out. Would definitely use again if need be.

I cannot thank Dan Rogers and his team enough for their fantastic home inspection. They were incredibly professional. They were right on time, even getting there before us. The quality of home inspection we got for the price was far better than any competitor in the area and we are so happy to have found them. They have fantastic reviews online, which is why we hired them, and they certainly lived up to them. My husband is very detail oriented and they caught things that even he missed; we were both incredibly impressed.
The home inspection report was provided to us within only a few hours after performing the home inspection. The full inspection report was 40 pages long! It included pictures and even videos of almost everything. They also included things in the report for our own information, which as first time homebuyers, I know will come in handy in the future in terms of understanding how things work. Their report was easy to understand, even for a first time homebuyer like myself.
The whole team was also very efficient. Dan showed up with two other employees so the whole home inspection was done within an hour and a half. They worked fast and efficient and we are so impressed by the whole team.
Dan also took the time to show us certain things that he found troublesome and also explained how certain things work and what we want to look for in the future.

Update: We asked the seller to do almost everything that Dan pointed out on the home inspection and they agreed! Without Dan’s expertise and knowledge, we could and would have missed out on a lot of extra work that we would eventually have had to deal with. Thanks again Dan!

Dan Rogers with Final Analysis Home inspections is the best home inspector we have ever worked with. His reports are detailed, clear & concise, and include detailed pictures & more. His home inspections are lengthy, but I wouldn’t want them any other way. We’ve had him inspect two homes for us, and we continue to refer him out. When we decide to place our home on the market we will use him to inspect to ensure that our house is ready for the market. If I were a seller’s agent I would cringe when I see them coming because I know he will find the flaws, if there are any. You’d be insane not to hire Final Analysis for your home! Dan saved our most recent purchase from having mold & flood issues under our house! He doesn’t overlook the minuscule issues. Everything that isn’t right gets noted. Everything! He’s extremely knowledgeable. You can’t go wrong!

Incredible service and professionalism! Dan and his team provided two comprehensice inspections with high attention to detail. From scheduling to finish, I can’t imagine a better customer experience.
–Their website provides a useful and easy interface for scheduling, payment, and viewing/​downloading an inspection
–the inspection itself was thorough and provided metrics such as multiple moisture content readings, smoke tests, gas readings, etc. That exceeded my expectations. The inclusion of ample photos and videos of the inspection painted a vivid picture of the house– very important to me since I was across the country.
–Dan went out of his way before a holiday weekend to provide extra assistance on closing day! He also saved me from an unwise home investment due to his team’s amazing standards and knowledge of VA code.
Bottom line: give yourself peace of mind by spending the money to get a legitimate home inspection. Final Analysis should be your go-​to company. I cannot recommend them more highly!

Dan Rogers and his team at Final Analysis Home Inspection are the only ones you should consult for a home inspection when you are buying a home. They conduct a thorough, straightforward inspection, going above and beyond in their write up of the inspection. Dan does not get his business through real estate agents or mortgage brokers but from word of mouth and the web.
Update:
Seriously. Simply the best. I don’t know why anyone would want to use another inspector. When Dan Rogers and his team were doing the inspection, the termite inspector was also on site conducting his inspection. Dan at one point asked the termite inspector if he had found anything and when the termite inspector responded «nope, everything looks good», Dan replied «really, follow me?». I was so impressed with the way Dan just turned his back and started walking, confident that the termite inspector would follow. Dan had actually seen an area of concern that the termite inspector had overlooked (not sure if this was done on purpose or just lack of attention to detail on the termite inspectors part).

I highly recommend Final Analysis Home Inspection for Dan’s professionalism, expertise, and integrity. I chose Dan’s company due to the excellent reviews on Google Plus and was not disappointed. I agree with all the praise that’s been previously documented by other reviewers. I called Dan to schedule the home inspection and he was able to get me in earlier than expected for an after hours appointment. Dan arrived with Adam on time and got right to work. Dan explained what he found along the way and the reasoning behind all recommendations. The final report was ready that evening, which was very thorough in the findings and recommended repairs and photo documentation. It certainly helped in our negotiations with the seller to complete all critical repairs. Dan was also very prompt in answering follow-​up questions afterwards. I cannot recommend Dan’s services enough and will certainly use him again in the future.

Dan looks at everything; leaves no stone unturned. If you watch any hgtv then you will understand when I say he is the American version of Holmes. Knows what he’s doing.
