History

Established in 2012.

The purpose, beliefs, and values behind HPI were founded upon Special Operations Forces training doctrine. Special Operators pride themselves on being prepared, at a moment’s notice, to accomplish any task. During the course of a day’s work, these elite warriors are required to perform physical activities that demand strength, stamina, explosiveness, agility, endurance and mental acuity. Their ability to accomplish any task without fatigue or injury is of the utmost importance and often a matter of survival. HPI stresses the importance of functional strength and conditioning by offering open gym time for members who wish to pursue individualized training programs that are tailored to their skill level and fitness objectives. HPI also offers personal and small group training sessions at scheduled times to develop specific skills and athletic functionality.

Rob S.

Business Owner

Rob has spent the past seven years as a member of the US Special Operations Community and has conducted multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. His journey to recovery has given Rob the expertise and innovation to form an elite fitness model offered to the public, HPI.

Prior to joining the Navy, Robert was a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager at Maxwell Welding and Machine in Pittsburgh, PA.
