Absolutely LOVE this salon! What a beautiful location in the marina overlooking the water. Very clean and modern. The service is genuine and the owner Sandra is top notch. And can’t forget how amazing the Aveda products are! I definitely recommend Sandra for any hairstyle.

Moved down to VA from NY & haven’t been able to find a place o truly loved & wanted to go back. I’ve always been a blonde & recently went red. I was sick of the red & wanted my blonde back. Red is extremely hard to get out but Maria made it happen! A couple hours later I walked out with a good trim and non damaged BLONDE hair! I love it & I’ll be going back :)

I am a huge fan of Aveda salons and liked the hair stylist I saw. However… This place is dirty. When I went in there was hair all over the floor from previous patrons; hair on the cutting apron that they drape around you; and hair all over the walls near the hair washing station. Again my stylist did a good job but it was gross to look around and see all that. Please deep clean this place. I don’t know the last time I’ve been to a salon this dirty.

I am new to the Virginia Beach area, and was VERY concerned about finding a quality stylist and colorist, as I have had many bad experiences in the past. I researched salons in the area on the Internet and decided on this one, as it was an Aveda concept salon. I could NOT BE HAPPIER with my result. I was seen the same day by a lovely stylist and talented colorist… Morgan. She listened to what I was looking for in my cut and color, and then she delivered. This is by far the best experience and color (full highlight) that I have had in years!!! She spent time getting everything just right. Morgan will be my stylist and I recommend her to you… she is truly amazing, because she cared to provide me with the service I wanted. She was reasonable and well worth every cent.. Having relocated to Va. Beach from Washington DC, I was happy to find an Aveda salon just down the road from me. This salon is located at the end of an upscale marina that also houses the wonderful One Fish Two Fish restaurant.
The atmosphere is relaxing, and during my two years of coming to this salon, I was lucky to be under the talented care of Sheryl. She took the time to find out what I wanted, and offered her own advice whenever I wanted it, but was never pushy. The shampoos here were fantastic, and the prices were really reasonable! My haircuts here were $ 35 during my first visits, and had gone up to $ 37 by the time I left.
Unfortunately, when I went back this summer Sheryl had left, but I still got a good haircut with someone new (sorry, I forgot her name). She was significantly less experienced, but still patiently listened to what I wanted, and took the time to get it right. To get (not even) that level of service in DC, I’d easily have to pay $ 75 and up.
