I’ve had Allstate for about 8 years, and recently filed my first claim after my car was side swiped by another vehicle. Unfortunately I did not get enough information to convict the other driver who denied the incident ever happening and this is when the situation took a turn for the worst. So I started the process of getting car repaired by having the claims adjustor Mark Elliot inspect my vehicle at my home. We went over the damages which included the passenger side fender and front bumper to my knowledge. While inspecting my car he pointed out the right front tire had a gash in it and said it would need to be replaced, a repair I hadn’t even thought of, so I inspected the other tire noticing a bubble so he said both would be replaced. He gave me a check which I didn’t think would cover the cost of the damages but he assured me that if any other repairs were to be made the shop could bill Allstate. After dropping off my car at R&G paint and body. The shop let me know that the bumper was not included in the repairs so they would have to have someone come out to reinspect before they could begin. Two weeks went by while the shop and I both tried to get ahold of someone to come out with little corporation. Finally with only a week left of having of rental coverage the repairs were finally approved. I had to keep the rental for a total of 32 days for repairs that took 5 days. When I got my car back it had the wrong bumper and only one tire had been replaced. Everyone I dealt with was rude and made me feel as if I was lying about the entire situation. I spent countless hours on the phone with the claims department, and when that didn’t work I went down to my local office, where I continued to be blown off about my concerns. When I went to Rick I was just completely fed up and desperate for help thinking he would be the one who would finally make it right, but instead I get snide remarks. Then the straw that broke the camels back is when I was hung up on when I called one last time about the damaged tire that they still refuse to repair. All in all after 8 years of being what they call a «valued customer» I was treated with disrespect and am going to switch to State Farm.
