They have been nothing but helpful and absolutely amazing! Dr Ron cottrell knows his stuff and his adjustments have done wonders for me!!! He goes above and beyond during our Chiro treatments & has this way of making you feel at ease especially if you’re nervous about getting adjusted. Even though my main focus was my neck he’s helped me with everything and even adjusted my ears when I discussed my tinnitus issues. He said even tho it’s more of a neuro issue it was still worth a try, which shows you how much he genuinely cares for his patients. He has not only helped fix my posture, but he has helped eliminate the headaches and the pain I would constantly get from reversed curvature in my cervical spine that had been agitated further from an automobile accident. I have nothing but nice things to say about this place, so if you’re looking for treatment go here!!!

I should’ve posted a review about this place a long time ago. I’ve been going to Ron Cottrell since 2002, and I’ve just gotta say that this guy is magic! I usually go to Active Mobility a few times a year when my lower back is achy, and usually after one adjustment he fixes me right up. On occasion I go twice, but that’s rare – after icing my back I’m usually golden by the next evening. One time a few years back I had to see him about 4 times in a row because my neck was in REALLY bad shape, but I was 100% after. The wait is usually very short. After a few questions and some arm extensions, Ron quickly determines the specific treatment, and in less than half an hour you’re done! I won’t go to any other chiropractor – I trust this guy implicitly.

I have been a patient of Ron Cottrell’s for the last 6 years, he has put me back together time & time again, you come in feeling like you can barely walk, and then you leave feeling like every is back as it should. Some people don’t think its important to see a chiropractor, but I have sent many people there, from lifting there baby at wrong moment to slips & falls, we all know it doesn’t take much, sometimes its more about timing, but things happen and when they do, we need people like them to set us straight. To this date, I have always had a great experience, and its a good feeling when someone makes you feel like they really care, and through there work you feel the difference.
Keep up the great work and keep north county moving.

I use to visit this practice and had amazing experience with Betty. She is truly talented in what she does. After returning to the area I wanted to visit again. It didn’t work out for a few insurance reasons, but I was shocked at how awful the customer service and front staff were. No one answers the phone. No one returns calls. It was a waste of time visiting to obtain information that could have been handled via phone. Horrid customer service.

I went here for rehabilitation and was treated by Betty Parmenter.
I broke my toe in November of 2013. Five months later my toe and foot still hurt, were swollen, and I could not walk correctly. I was told by a physician to go to physical therapy.
I was referred to Active Mobility in early May of 2014 and scheduled an appointment then.
I can’t imagine a better physical therapist anywhere! I told Betty that I needed to be able to walk without pain by July for a trip to Las Vegas. She was confident it would be possible. Six weeks later in June I am walking with minimal pain and ready to go to Las Vegas.
Betty is very caring and spends a lot of time with her patients. I had never had physical therapy before but from what I heard a physical therapist will spend 10 minutes with hands on therapy with the patient. Every appointment I had with Betty she spent at least 20 minutes with me.
My foot was in bad shape and I am not sure any other physical therapist could have fixed my foot as fast as she did. I can’t speak highly enough of her.

It has been a few years since I have any Chiropractic work, mainly because I was a little discouraged by my last experience. Not any more! Dr. Cottrell takes responsibility for his patient’s health and I feel nothing less than welcome and relieved after my appointments. The front desk staff and friendly as well and try to accommodate to individual schedules. If you are looking for great chiropractic work in the area, look no further.

I went to Active Mobility after I bought a deal for a massage, xray and adjustment. I had high hopes for this office and was pleased that it was so close to my house.
First off I want to say that I worked at a Chiropractor’s office as an office manager for quite some time and know how the industry runs.
On the day of my visit, my first impressions were that the office was very nice, neat and modern. The staff was generally helpful and nice. I met with the Dr. and he asked me several questions regarding my health history and if I had any health issues. The massage was pleasant and the adjustments were great. I’ve been needing it for quite some time now.
So, why 3 stars?
minus 1 star: the coupon package included an xray which I did not receive. To be honest, I forgot that it included an xray but 1. it should be automatically included since i bought the coupon that included it and 2. How can a chiropractor perform adjustments and make recommendations if they haven’t seen the health of my spine through and xray? At the chiro that I worked for, we would never perform adjustments if they did not have a recent xray done.
minus 1 star: i was ready to make future appointments and start a regular régime of visits. my insurance covers chiropractic care. on my way out I made an appointment with the front desk. Unfortunately, I did not have my insurance card with me. However, I gave the front desk my ss# and my insurance carrier. They should easily be able to verify my coverage with that information. The lady at the front desk said that she would call me back and let me know of my coverage prior to my next appointment. A few days before my next appointment I called in to see if she had verified my insurance coverage. She said she had not gotten to it yet. I told her my next appointment is dependent on them verifying my coverage. She asked for my subscriber ID, however, I did not have my card with me. I asked that she look it up with my SS# (which I have done hundreds of times at my prev employer). She said she’d verify it before my appointment but asked if I could call back with my sub ID. Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to call back with my ID. However, she has ample information to verify my coverage. My appointment day comes and I don’t go to my appointment because she never called back. She calls me on the day of my appointment and asks if I am coming in. I explained to her that I was not planning on it because she never got back to me regarding the verification of my coverage. She apologized and stated that she did not do it because it takes longer than usual to verify with just a social security number. I do not care that it may take some more time. I gave you my information and she should do her job. I was basically ready to give them my business and she did not seem to care and was too lazy to verify my coverage. I would have been fired for this at my prev employer!

Folks, I don’t like doing these types of reviews. However, I do have to report that I was highly dissatisfied with the customer service at this place. This is not based on the services provided here or the doctors. This is based on actually trying to get an appointment.
I called 3 times.
1. Left a message
2. Waited for 4 or 5 days, called again. Got a very frazzled receptionist. She very tersely said she was extremely busy and would have to call me back. So I waited.
3. 2 days later, when I received no call, I decided to call again, only to find the answering machine again.
This would be no problem if it was… say, a dentist appointment I wanted to avoid. However, I had tweaked my back badly and it had been in pain when I called the first time for a whole week… now i’ve been having this same pain for a total of 2 weeks without response from the chiropractic office.
Today, I decided to call another chiropractic office. Got an appointment in quickly without much hassle. I almost wanted to weep with joy.
Sorry, I have to be a sore 2 stars in a forest of 5’s, but unfortunately I couldn’t get an appointment here to see what all the 5 stars are about :(.

This place is terrific, Betty was amazing in helping me recover from surgery. She gave me exercises and soft tissue therapy as well as A.R.T. This pain I recently found out that I will have to deal with for the rest of my life, and before knowing that Betty told me that I can come back anytime. I have never gone to physical therapy and had them tell me that I can come back if nedded. Just knowing that the staff took excellent care of me and really listened to what the problem was and how I was feeling about that, I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Just had knee surgery 3 weeks ago and needed a quick rehab for a long bike trip. I am completely non compliant (as I work in the healthcare field) and decided to try acupuncture here. Sherine Blair is amazing. Reduced my swelling, increased range of motion and I just laid there! Now I am seeing Dr. Werbelow for strength training and he’s great too. I don’t think I would be making my bike trip if it hadn’t been for the staff helping me squeeze in all my appointments and for their professional quality care that we all deserve. Active Mobility Rocks.

This is a great office and practice, all the doctors are excellent. Sherine is especially great for accupunture, she definitely takes the time to provide excellent treatment and I have had great results from her care. She is very nice, and really cares about the patient, and works to get you better! Thanks Active Mobillity!

Dr. Horst is extremely knowledgeable on Active Release Therapy and has helped my daughter with her seizures. If you have a sore shoulder, knee, foot problems or anything at all that hurts… you do not need to «live with it». Give Dr. Horst a try. ART is amazing and can truly change your life.

I would like to Thank Both Dr. Ron Cottrell and Dr. Nathen Horst for getting me back on my feet or foot as it were. I had dropped a cutting board on my left foot and Dr. Cottrell X-​rayed my foot to make sure it was not broken, Thankfully it was not… just seriously bruised, he then referred me to one of his up and coming Chiropractor Co –workers, Dr. Nathen Horst who took over my case, his care and expertise and knowledge in his field on how to care for said foot injury was over the top. Staff is knowledgeable & variety of options for Doctors based on your needs. The doctors are athletes, so they are very aware of athletic chiropractic injury prevention and recovery too. The massage options include deep tissue, which are a must for active athletes.

Dr. Anthony Werbelow, D.C. is the best!!! He has really helped me with a nagging neck ache that has caused many migraines. Since seeing him for the last couple months I have not had any migraines. Hurray!
My husband saw him for a back ache he thougt he would have to live with forever and after only 2 treatments felt 80% better.
This doctor is a true Gem!

first off want to thank dr. W for helping me get back to normal in less than 2weeks. I used to be very active but sustained a shoulder injury at the same time my tempurpedic bed crapped out on me which basically added to everything making normal everyday things very hard to do. I could barely move without grunting and being in pain. I hurt so much feeling everyday like I was hit by a buss.
I had seen other chiropractors and know them to be really expensive and the economy being what it is could not afford to go 3x a week at $ 90 a pop. I was surprised when I went there of how great I was treated and didn’t cost me that much. They really care about getting you better. I found out they were christian owned and operated and it made sense to me why they were so honest and caring.
I am on my 3^rd week from visiting them and my pain is almost completely gone and I can go to the gym which I haven’t been able to do in a year and a half.
I grantee you if you need a chiro and your in pain you will not regret seeing the people at active mobility. From the minute you walk in till the minute you leave you feel at ease. They staff is really nice and the doctors are always smiling. The pricing is very affordable and the attention you receive is superior. I am without a doubt stoked to have found them.

I began seeing Sherine Blair for acupuncture in May of 2010. My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for almost a year with no luck. I was very apprehensive because I don’t like needles and was convinced that it would hurt. As soon as I met her I felt extremely comfortable, calm and relaxed. I had no pain and actually found some sites hilarious! On June 6^th, 2010 I found out that I was pregnant!!! I am absolutely positive that my acupuncture sessions with Sherine made this happen. Her office is wonderfully relaxing. She is professional and caring and very good at what she does!
When I went into labor I called Sherine and asked her to meet me at the hospital. My water had broken but my contractions had not started six hours later. She came right away and used acupuncture to get the ball rolling. Boy, did this work! She stayed with me and my husband until our son was born the next day, using acupuncture to keep the labor going and to help with pain control.
Sherine has definitely been an important part of our son’s life, and ours as well! I would recommend her to anyone, she’s wonderful!

I’ve been getting acupuncture for osteoarthritis in my shoulders and other physical problems from Sherine Blair for more than a year. It’s the best hour of my week… where I get to rest comfortably and listen to soothing music while the treatment is ocurring. Sherine is very sensitive and caring and the mood of the treatment room is very calming.
