This is one of the best smog check stations I have ever been to. The owner is super professional, knowledgeable and a great person to talk to. I didn’t make an appointment or anything just walked straight in and didn’t have to wait that long to get my car done. I would definitely recommend this station and I will be doing all my smog checks here from now on. This is a star certified station.

Our family has been going to Auto Smog Specialist longer than I can remember. Recently, I went to a different shop and was highly disappointed. Needless to say, I went right back here to handle smog on my other car.
When you frequent this shop, you can feel the gratitude from the owner. He always takes the time to let you know how much he appreciates your patronage — this has always made me feel comfortable and trusting when here.
No matter where you live in North County, it is worth the drive to get your smog needs taken care of here.

Great Place. Great Service. Was in and out in 20 min. Definitely recommend! I can’t say that you will be able to walk in and get seen as quickly as I was able (went mid afternoon around 2). But the owner is a great friendly guy, especially when I needed a good brake/​rotor referral.

Best customer service EVER!!!
We called ahead just to make sure they were available, guy was super friendly from the beginning. We arrived there and he did his job and explained everything to us.
They are NOT a STAR station, just regular test but that’s all we needed for the moment.
A customer arrived that needed the star station and he was kind enough to give them directions.
We’ll be taking our cars here from now on.

Uy is a nice personable guy. Got in and about 15 minutes later I was able to get out. Quick and easy service. I was talking to one of the other customers and the customer said he’s had 40+ cars of his and friends/​relatives smogged by Uy. Must be doing something right for him to keep coming back. I’ll be coming here again when I need a smog.
