Jaime has been treating me for two years now. I am a personal trainer and I lift hard and heavy. Issues come up. Jaime has worked with me on wrist, neck, low back, and knee and foot problems. Compared to other chiropractors I have worked with, he puts a lot more thought into his analysis and he works using a greater variety of tools. Jaime doesn’t just crack your back. If you’re not comfortable with manual adjustments, he has also done deep tissue/​trigger point work, fascial release, and kinesio taping (and we even tried cupping once!). He has also recommended foam roller techniques for me to use on my own.
My favorite thing about how Jaime works is he tests and re-​tests movements so we both know if we’re on the right track to fixing the problem. If he works on a particular muscle and I don’t feel a change, he tries something else until I feel improvement — his method guarantees progress. Personality-​wise, Jaime is extremely warm and there is no problem he won’t bend over backwards to help with. He has completely earned my trust for life and I never hesitate to refer people to him.

I hurt my back at work and after a week of medication I was still in so much pain! I went to Cortez Family Chiropractic and within a week I was feeling so much better. Dr. Cortez really knows what he is doing and takes his time to ensure you know what is going on and how you can care for your injury when at home. I will never see another chiropractor again!

Jamie comes to our practices and games to help us survive, he helped me a bunch of times when I had painful injury or my body is having a bad day. Jamie is a sweet person and pay him a visit if you are in pain, he will help you =]

Recently saw Dr. Cortez and was overly impressed with how familiar he was with sports injuries and properly excersizing to avoid pain and strengthen core. He did an adjustment for some minor back pain I was having due to I believe squatting incorrectly or doing too many that week. He not only took his time listening to me he took his time explaining his process and teaching me about what I can do to prevent injury– including showing me how to squat correctly! I went his new Vista office– it’s in downtown Vista near where I live which was very convenient. I felt that Dr. Cortez was genuine and really knowledgable. Definitely going back in a couple weeks for a regular adjustment.
