Most definitely the place to take your car to! We have an Audi and had tried two other places before them and waisted our money! Needless to say a lesson well learned!

I’ve been coming here for years. The customer service is amazing and I don’t have one complaint about the work I’ve had done. They are extremely friendly and helpful, and they make sure their customers walk away satisfied.

Great shop, and excellent prices on service. I used to take my bimmer to the dealer for service because I didn’t trust other service shops but got tired of paying an arm and a leg every time I can in. Saw that this shop had great reviews so took a chance and glad I did. Chris and his crew are great and I pay probably less than 40−60% than I would’ve from the dealer. Their work is excellent and they don’t try to add on other stuff that doesn’t need any work. I’ve taken my car to them for the past 2 yrs. now and have had less rework on the car than I did with the dealer.

We have been working with you and dad since you opened, I recall when your dad started the business and was sitting at the gate waiting for customers many years ago. I was the second one to pull in for repairs. He and the staff have always done a a great job at reasonable prices. You are the only ones who we let work on our Volvos. Thanks for many years of service to our cars.

My car needed service but I prefer not to take it to the dealer, they are too expensive. I made an appointment at European Autoworks and they were easy to work with, even when I had to call at the last minute and change my appointment time around. They serviced my car as required quickly and did not try to sell me extra stuff that I didn’t need. I also had an issue with my tire that I had them look at and they referred me to Discount Tire, saying they would be the cheapest for the new tire I needed. The waiting room was clean and comfortable and the guy helping me was nice. They also had a Unilocal coupon so that made the already good price even better. My only issue is that they are not open on the weekend. I know they have a shuttle service but it would be much more convenient if they were open on Saturday.

My husband took my car in and met with Chris! Thank you sooo much for working on my Q7! My AC fan is now working great! He had a great experience with you :)

On a whim, and noticing I was due for an oil change on our Mercedes SLK230, I stopped at European Autoworks for the first time. Brian quoted me a very decent price for the «A» service, so I bit. I scheduled my appointment, brought in my car, and after a half day, the vehicle was ready and even washed! I know that the dealership always had done this, but for more than double the price of what this company quoted. Not only was it done with my complete satisfaction, but the price was even LESS than quoted. I was very impressed with that. I had some additional issues that I wanted resolved on the Mercedes, and Brian worked out a very good offer. I brought her back in for all the other issues, and it was fixed beyond my expectations and at the negotiated price. I am very impressed with the workmanship, the quality of the parts, and now the way my car performs. I will definitely let others know where to go for their import car repairs, and I will definitely be back.

I have been coming here with my Mercedes needs since 2009. George, Chris and Carol are great to work with. Is a family run business and they are honest and reputatable when it comes to necessary repairs and costs. Thanks for taking care of my needs and keep up the good work!

We take both of our cars to European Autoworks and we don’t have European cars. I know when we take our cars there, they are going to do what is necessary. They are trustworthy, honest and stand by their work. I have referred them to all of my friends, especially those who used to take their European cars to the high priced dealers.

I own several Range Rover Sports and Mercedes G class vehicles, and in search of finding a reliable shop to service all of my vehicles, i called European Autoworks. I’ll cut right to the chase, don’t waste your time here. Extremely rude, unhelpful and they will hang up on you after not being able to answer the most basic of questions. Like most other «repair» shops it seems in southern california. They can’t even do a simple transmission rebuild. They want to just throw a reconditioned unit in your vehicle. I wish these «european» facilities actually did repair these days, instead of just replace. I would never bring any of my vehicles here. Move on and find someone who cares about your vehicle (s) as much as you do.

We are new to the area and I was grateful to find European Autoworks yesterday. I went in for a headlight bulb change but knew there were other things that needed to be addressed on our ten year old Mercedes. Chris was courteous, helpful and we had the work done that was necessary. Reasonable price with a ride home and back from Danny ~ who verified what a great family business this was. They are great folks and I got points form my husband ~ a former mechanic ~ for finding them!

So I made an appointment for an oil change And dropped My car off first thing in the morning at 8:00am. They said it should take an hour to an hour and a half. I called to check in and see how it was going at 10:00am. The guy that works at the front counter said they just started working on it.
So in short, per their recommendation. If you just want an oil change, they recommend you should take your car to Jiffy Lube. He said they are quick, and better suited for just oil changes.
I was a long time customer that spent lots of money for Volvo experts. I guess it was money that I really didn’t need to spend… In their words.
I’m glad to see the economy spared at least 1 small business.
A little customer service goes a long way.
If any one knows of a Volvo place in north county that can do an oil change in about an hour with an appointment and thinks they do a better job then jiffy lube, please let me know. I’m looking for a new mechanic. I do NOT recommend these guys.
By the way, if your lights don’t work after you visit these guys, double check you connections before you buy new lights. They forget to re attach the cables from time to time.

Customer service and quality of work seems good. I brought in my BMW E93 to have angel eyes installed and to get the oil changed. They were both very helpful and professional in the processes involved. I’m only giving them a 3 star review because while I was doing a quality control check, I begin to visually inspect the undercarriage of my vehicle while it was lifted on their mount in the shop. The manager asked me politely to leave the shop area and informed me that if there was anything that I needed to see, he would come let me know. As an individual who is semi anal and enjoys knowing what’s going on, I found this disheartening. Being new to Oceanside, I was looking for a shop that I can call home and due to this incident, I will continue my search by looking elsewhere.
If you’re not as anal as me, this might not bother you. However for me, I need to feel comfortable knowing that they don’t mind me not only watching them work but also they need to be comfortable with their customers taking interest in the work the employees are doing.
If I were to review them based on their work alone, I would probably give them a 5 star review. As a vehicle enthusiast, I tend to pride myself in having a greater interest in the well being of my vehicle compared to the average person. As such, based on my overall experience and their hesitation to let me be present while I observe the work that they do on my vehicle, I can not rate this shop more than ³⁄₅.

My family has brought their Volvo’s here for two decades and we have always received phenomenal service. Very competitive pricing and easy to work with. ALWAYS cheaper than going to the dealership. Even though I live a good distance away from Vista now, I still drive up to European Autoworks for their great service. Can’t get any better!

Returned a uHaul here… pretty much scratched the bottom side of the truck trying to park there and the guy didn’t charge me.

I was shopping around for a good deal to get my wheel bearing assembly replaced, not only was it way over priced for labor and the parts they used were junk, the guy at the counter though he knew it all and was rude. I went across the street to find a better deal and a couple of mechanics that would work with me and recommended the best parts which I know to be the right price. Working with cars myself on a personal level, I would not recommend overpriced misinformed and shady mechanics. Not recommended, go across the street for a better deal and better mechanics.

I have had George work on all my volvos for 18 years… the integrity and personal care goes beyond… everyone is friendly and caring and they stand behind their work. I firmly believe we should give our business to the smaller business owner, not corporate. Climb on board. Check this place out… thanks for saving me $ 20,000.00.
