My husband and I bought our first new adventure bike here! We did our research and they had the exact bike we wanted at the BEST price. We had to travel a couple hours to get here and The buying process was very smooth. Everyone that helped us was great, able to answer all our questions, kind, encouraging and not pushy at all. We had the best experience here and could not be happier with our New Vstrom!

The sole purpose of this 5 star rating is because of Mike Eversole in sales. I was referred to him from a friend who purchased a bike and I have since referred a friend to Mike. Prior to working with Mike I had a bad experience with another sales person who was pushy. Mike. saved the day! Go to House for their huge selection and be sure to ask for Mike if you want the best buying experience possible.

I recently went into House of Motorcylces with the intention of finding some hardware for my exhasut system that had rattled its way off of my Harley Davidson. One of the servicemen, Sean, told me that he would try his best to find the specialty brackets that i needed. Sure enough Sean went out of his way to create bracket for my exhaust that works perfectly. He spent at least 15 minutes searching/​working for me. From now on, if I ever need a part or service I will go to House of Motorcycles. If you want great work done, ask for Sean, although i’m sure all the mechanics there are more than qualified to work on your motorcycle. Thanks guys, sorry I could not give you more than 5 stars.

They have a great selection and a nice atmosphere. But they will scan the hell out of you, especially if you are a Marine. Stay away. I made the mission of buying my motorcycle here.
They sales people are relentless too. They will try and sell you a new bike the very next day after you buy one from them.

Actually, I’d give the parts counter 4 stars, the service department 4 stars, and the Sales department (except for Holly) 0 stars.
FOUR times I’ve tried to buy new bikes from HOM because they are big and close, and FOUR times I decided to buy elsewhere because of how the salespeople treated me. First was a 2010 KLX110 for my son. Got quoted over the phone, was told this was my «absolute OTD write-​a-​check price» and I showed up with a cashiers check ready to go and was THEN pressured to go back and pay all the setup and assembly fees. Bait and Switch. Bought the bike from Escondido cycle center. Next was a 2013 KLX140 for my other son. Went to HOM because they are the closest, and was being sold hard on last years KX85. Over and Over and Over. My son races, and wins on a KLX140 and that’s what I wanted. I got fed up, bought the bike from Escondido Cycle Center. Next was a 2011 WR450. The FI 2012s had just come out and the rest of the world was blowing out the 2011s. Not HOM. Got a line about how they can’t keep the 11’s on the floor. OK. see ya. Finally, this week I wanted the new Polaris Ace. I had been talking to Holly about it, and she was great, and followed up several times. Very professional, and personal, and is a rider herself. I called yesterday to make an offer. She wasn’t there, so I asked for another salesperson, but wanted to be sure Holly would get credit for the deal. I made my offer and was told it was a «Monkey» offer. Don’t know what that means, but I was pissed, called NCY, made the same offer, they came back at 500.00 more, and delivered the Ace to my door for free. Sorry Holly. One of our colleagues blew that one for you. Now I basically go to HOM to try on gear, before I go buy it online. It took me four lessons, but now I’ll just drive the extra 10 minutes to ECC or NCY where I’m treated better and get better pricing.

I went to the store yesterday and bought a phone mount for my Ducati Penigale and something that seem so easy and simple to install was kicking my butt. I went back to the store like 3 times and the staff was very patient with me and very helpful. Especially Adam. He actually went out of his way to help me with my issues. I’m greatly appreciative of his help. Thank you! Great customer service!

Stopped by because I was in the area. I just wanted to look around and get an idea of what motorcycles were out there.
I was greeted at the door, which was nice.
I read some other reviews, and although I didn’t buy I wanted to write out my experience for comparison.
The first sales man to show me a bike was kind of stand-​off-​ish. He didn’t give me his name. He pulled out one bike. When I told him I was new at this and didn’t know what I was looking for/​at, he kind of just looked at me. He suggested I walk around; so I did, without him.
The second sales man to approach me was Oscar. Oscar was actual the one who greeted me at the door. He made his way through the sales floor to come find me and help me (he was within ear shot of my experience with the first guy). Oscar asked me if I had any concerns, and then he made some suggestions for bikes. As questions developed, Oscar answered all of them. Oscar pulled out several bikes for me to sit on and made suggestions as to what I should feel for.
Oscar made me feel comfortable and confidence I would be purchasing a bike I would enjoy. When I told Oscar I wasn’t going to purchase until I ran the bike by my uncle, Oscar didn’t pressure me.
The bad reviews on here give me pause as to whether I will purchase from North County House of Motorcycles. If I do, I will wait until Oscar is working.
Side note: I saw some other reviews that females didn’t get service at all. I am female. I don’t know if that was a factor with the treatment from the first guy, but it certainly wasn’t with the second.

Brought my bike In to get an estimate to fix some things on it and they wanted to charge me 150 $! What a joke, I called ECC and they did it for free. This will be The Last time I ever go into that store. RIPOFF!

Just bought a Ninja from Holly and she made the process very easy. I told them what price I needed to be at (a very low one) and they were able to meet it. I am confident I got an amazing deal. This is the second bike my wife and I have bought from here and we will go back for any future purchases.

My husband is the motorcycle fan so that’s why we go there every often. It’s a nicely set up shop for sure and very large. They have a huge selection of motorcycles and motorcycle parts including helmets and outerwear. The people are generally pretty nice and they aren’t pressuring you to buy, which I like. The only reason why I give it 3 stars is because a lot if it is overpriced. We just go there to look for fun.

After doing research for a couple of months on a bike I have had my eye on for some time, I decided to pull the trigger. I haven’t bought a new motorcycle in more than 10 years but I thought it couldn’t be too far from buying a new car. However, I was mistaken and had a very hard time getting the bike I wanted before I went to NCHofM. Two large dealerships, one in Kearny Mesa, the other in El Cajon would not even give me a counter offer after I gave them my offer. Even though NCHofM is quite far from my house I emailed them an offer anyway and they immediately countered with something reasonable. I decided to trek my way up to North County. Scott my sales guy was super chill and made the process very smooth. Brendan from finance worked with my credit union financing and explained the buying process very clearly. Even after my purchase, I used NCHofM for some OEM saddlebags and Tim from parts kept me in the loop as to when parts would arrive.
Kudos to these guys!

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. All I wanted to get was a phone cradle for my Vstar. It took almost a month to get the part in. I had to go back three different times because they kept ordering the wrong part. I also took my Vstar back to the service department and ask one of the workers for some advice and help. He did not seem to wanna help or answer any of my questions. Was not impressed with this place what’s so ever.

Do yourself a favor and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
I gave 1 star because 0 is not an option. Absolute HORRIBLE customer service, especially in the «service» department! My husband has had to take his brand new Spyder in multiple times for the same problem that they always claim the «fix». One of the times they kept his bike (which is his sole means of transportation) for 3 weeks! Another time, he called to ask a question and was told «I don’t know»?!? When we were purchasing the bike, the finance guy (Dustin?) was acting like a «bro» to my husband while being a total ASS to me! By the way, the only reason my husband was able to get the bike was because I was cosigning the loan! It was against my better judgement to buy the bike at this location. We also had problems getting the proper paperwork to take to the credit union for financing. They were trying to force us to finance through them at a ridiculously high rate! I wish I would have spoken up and said… Let’s take our business to Escondido Cycle Center!

If you are a female don’t even bother. I came in looking for a gift for my husbands birthday, however he works in the moto industry so can typically get what needs for a deal. But he is refurbishing a Honda Elsinore so I thought it would be nice to get him a gift card to get parts with it. Not a soul would talk to me in the entire building yet I saw about 20 employees milling about. All I wanted to know is if they even carried parts that he might need, if not getting him a gift card would be worthless. I guess I will never know if they do or not & I will gladly give my money to another business that wants it. Maybe they thought I was just some dumb female not worth their time?!

Worst customer service: not one person greeted us or asked if we needed help after searching for what we needed. We were looking for a helmet and passed 4 employees helping others. Not one person came by and said «we will be right with you». We asked the cashier for advice and she was semi helpful until we checked out and the two girls were talking about getting Starbucks instead of helping people. We like the place but when you’re in a place where you can and probably could have sold us more, you would think at least 1 employee would ask if we needed help upon arrival

Took our 2 2014 waverunners in last month for an oil change. We take great care of all our stuff, house, cars, including the waverunners which each have covers on them and stay in the garage when not being ridden. Washed/​dryed the whole deal after every use. So when we brought them in they were in «like new condition» when I went back to pick them up there was about a 4 in scratch on the front by the hatch of one. On that same ski the seat and a small tear thru the upholstery, metal from underneath was exposed. On the other ski there seat fabric had been scratched up along the sides. I was not about to leave without trying to get it resolved with them. When the management saw it they said, «we don’t know how this could have happened» I said I don’t know either but it wasn’t there before the skis were brought in. End of the story they didn’t offer to do anything to accommodate for their screw up and lack of care for their customers products. Taking business else where in the future. 1 and done with this place.

…Just wanted to say Thank you! Again for putting a smile on my face and prescribing me some throttle therapy. Been keeping an eye out for a drzsm for awhile now and saw the used one they had that was super clean. I decided to pull the trigger and trade in my crf. So contacted Sam and told him the money situation and a few emails later the SM was in my truck headed home. Sam went on vacation the day I had planned to come in and told me to see jeff when I got there. Me and jeff had a little hickup in the numbers but we figured it out and I do believe I drew the longer straw, even though I’m sure they let me. And I do appreciate it very much.
Thanks to lonnie in the parts department for hooking it up a bit on some gear.
My only complaint is they had almost no street boots/​shoes in a 10/10.5. Or any of the SM helmets in XL in lighter colors. Come on its almost summer! No one wants black.
But all in all. I will be back in hopefully a few years to pick up a dualsport.

Overall, these guys have a lot of room for improvement in their pricing. Service rates for basic stuff is extremely excessive and their bikes are nearly 1k over what other dealers are offering.
I will give credit where it’s due though. These guys are very friendly, and their showroom is top notch. Unfortunately, these things aren’t good enough to overcome the prices, so I will be taking my business elsewhere for future services and purchases.

Unbelievable!
I saw a used bike that was in good shape in the showroom but the price seemed awfully high so I checked the NADA on my phone which confirmed that sure enough– it was over $ 2500 above nada retail listing for a bike in good shape. As I pondered why they would clearly be so outrageously greedy– I noticed on the tag a $ 895 «fee» which had no explanation. Guess it’s the parking fee for parking it in their showroom maybe?
I won’t be back and will tell everyone who will listen how ridiculously expensive they are.

I just recently bought my first bike (2014 Yamaha Bolt R-​Spec) from these guys. I had no intention on doing this. I was just shopping around. As soon as I stepped into the shop I was greeted and then given a tour. Which helped ease me since I’m new at this. The guy helping me was really cool and informative. After looking around at Triumphs for a while, I stumbled on the Bolt. I instantly fell in love with this bike. The staff wasn’t pushy at all but just walked me through the bike specs and let me sit and start it up. That was it and they new it. ;-)
I really recommend these guys. They gave me a great deal and I picked up all my gear. They also gave me a veterans discount too.
