Its whats wrong with the world when you walk into a planned parenthood, tell them you know you have a bladder infection and they tell you to come back later”!!! Are you kidding me? All you had to do was let me pee in a cup and send me off… I didnt need to see anyone, you could have called in a RX for me later at your convenience… and a woman telling me this? insanity. thanks for nothing! PS. there was no line and 1 person in the waiting room… they all must have been back there thumb wrestling per usual.

I’ve been to the vista planned parenthood a couple of times, every experience there has been horrible. The first time I went I waited two hours past my appointment time to be seen by a doctor. I went to get my paraguard IUD removed, it took three doctors one of which being the specialist to come and remove it, well over an hour. They were rude and had bad bedside manner, the doctor that finally took it out ripped it out and it was very painful and covered in guts and blood. It shouldn’t take three of your doctors to remove something that wasn’t even attached to my cervix it was actually in place, all of your doctors should be trained equally. I was rushed out of the room into the waiting room even though I felt faint. The next time I went happened to be today, I was told over the phone that my family pact card was still valid yet when I went in they told me it expired. She asked if I had insurance and I said yes so she told me to fill out the form, it took thirty minutes and multiple questions, when I went to turn it in she denied it without even looking. I asked why she told me she couldn’t tell me, I started to get frustrated because the form took me 30 minutes then she told me it was because I had insurance. She made me fill out a form knowing I had the insurance I did to tell me without even looking I was denied. This was an emergency visit and she wasted 30 minutes of my time when she knew the answer all along. Then she said I could wait another 30 minutes for her to call and ask my insurance if I could come there. I politely declined and walked outside to have a good cry. You can say this is the WORST planned parenthood location I’ve been too and I’ve been to five in total some of the other being really bad until I came to this one. I would not recommend this to anyone especially anyone looking to get or have an IUD taken out please spare yourself the rudeness and the unnecessary pain from the doctors lack of experience and bedside manner! I would give this place a –10!

Get a test done and to find out that I can’t use my medical since i was from OC? It would’ve been helpful if I was told beforehand

Waste of your time, go to a real doctor. I have walked into this facility three times now, each time they have had no available appointments so they schedule me for a later time and give me a form to fill out. I come back later, each time they tell me that because I have health insurance I do not qualify for free birth control. What the hell? This company gives free birth control to 16 year old girls who don’t want to tell their parents they need birth control. However, they refuse responsible adults. The only reason I am using your service is because it’s free. This clinic has wasted my time over and over again. If you have legit health insurance, do not waste your time.

I was extremely stressed out for my appointments and didn’t know what to expect, but I felt good the moment I walked in. This new facility is modern and comfortable and open and all of the staff was very welcoming and made me feel better. The physicians assistant Jessica was extremelyy helpful and patient and understanding. It was a great experience considering it was dealing with a traumatic matter. Thank you Planned Parenthood, Vista! Highly recommended location.

This location had moved from Carlsbad, at their old Carlsbad location even if you had an appointment the wait was still over an hour. So I understand where these reviews are coming from. I luckily didn’t have that experience.
My appointment was for Monday at 1pm to refill a prescription, I was expecting it to be packed. I got there about 12:50 and saw only 1 person there sitting in the waiting room. I was completely shocked; since planned parenthoods are always really crowded, I was greeted right and filled out some paperwork. While I was there 2 more people came in, still super empty though. I sat down in the waiting room for probably a minute before I was called back (It was only 12:55). It was great how fast they got me in.
They put me in a room, waiting for the doctor did take some time about 5 minutes; the doctor and the nurse were super friendly and easy to talk to. Overall I was out of there by 1:15, I’ve never been in and out of a planned parenthood so fast in my life. I definitely recommend this location and think weekdays would be better to come in if you want to get in by your appointment time!

First time I was here I was in and out within 30 minutes. Now I’m here going on an hour they told me it could be an hr and a half… i made an appointment. Not happy

Why have an appointment if you have to wait over an hour? They also jacked up my price of office visit to $ 103 after the assistant told me it would cost between $ 50-​$ 60. I considered it more of a donation to help other women in need out, so I didn’t make too much of a fuss about it other than mentioning it to the front desk (who did nothing about it). Most of their staff is very friendly.
The doctor that saw me today was unprofessional. Rather than trying to actually help me out with her diagnosis she wrote down the name of the disease related to my change in diet on a paper towel. She then told me to look it up. An actual doctors office would provide you papers filled with information.
I am all for what planned parenthood is about, but this office and their doctors is a joke! Save your time and money and go to an actual office for actual help and results.

Im not sure what the point is in making an appointment here? My appointment was at 2:20. I came 20 minutes early to get checked in. I sat in the waiting room for an hour. I sat in the exam room for an hour. On a positive note the facility is clean and everyone was very nice.

The building inside and out give you a very comfortable feeling. The staff are very nice and helpful. I’ve been to a few this one is by far my favorite. Thank you for helping me PP of Vista

This was my first time at this location and it was a million times better than any experience I’ve ever had at the Escondido location. The office itself is very nice, the girls who work here are extremely friendly and kind. My appointment was at 9 and I waited about 5 minutes before they called me back which was great, the whole process took about 30 minutes, it was quick and easy and surprisingly pleasant as I was expecting to spend at least an hour and a half there. I will definitely be coming back to this location rather than the escondido one, even though the escondido location is just 5 minutes away from my home.

I’m giving the clinic 5 stars because ever since they opened at this new location in Vista the wait has not been bad at all. The place looks great and everyone is really friendly, attentive and helpful! I will definitely recommend and continue to come here.

This is AWFUL. Appointment at 11 for a simple prescription refill. Don’t get seen until close to noon. And now I’ve been waiting in an exam room for another whole hour. I finally peak my head out to see the ENTIRE staff literally standing around a desk chatting. Ask what’s going on, and they say that the only person who can refill my prescription has just taken lunch! Been here over 2 HOURS with no end in sight for a prescription refill! No exam or anything. I wish there was another option, but this is my only option seeing as how I work my ass off but still can’t afford health insurance. This is RIDICULOUS. So unprofessional and disorganized. The worst. What’s the point of having an appointment at all!!!

wait time is WAY too long. expect to wait OVER an HOUR. but the staff is very friendly and helpful

It was my first visit, and the staff was very quick, efficient and friendly. I didn’t have much to wait before I was called in, and not much wait when I was taken to the back. I had an appointment, so maybe that helps too. I would definitely recommend this location. It wasn’t hard to find, and the place is clean and the lobby had plenty of light and literature to keep you busy.
