Established in 1979.

Dr. Scott Krause took over the practice from Dr. George Hashim in July of 2010. Dr. Hashim had been seeing patients here for over two decades. Dr. Krause continues to provide the consistent and quality care that our patients deserve.

Dr. Krause grew up in a small town in rural Nebraska, learning a strong work ethic from an early age. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Union College and later his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University.

Dr. Krause has always had a heart for underserved people. He has gone on several Dental trips to serve communities in Mexico, Micronesia, Tanzania, Kenya, and Bangladesh. He has also donated hundreds of hours to serving the needs in his local community. Dr. Krause understands the impact that a beautiful healthy smile can have on an individual.

When Dr. Krause is not practicing his passion of comprehensive dentistry, he spends most of his time with his lovely wife, Leanne his son Kimtai, and new baby girl Marlo. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves surfing and backpacking.

Dr. Krause is a standing member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Sometimes, no matter how much you brush and floss, you have to go to the dentist. If you are going to the dentist, I recommend seeing Doctor Krause. He’s taken great care of me and my family. He’s also up-​to-​date in the technology department. One time I had a horrible toothache and he took me in right away, I really appreciate that. I have insurance so I really can’t say much about his pricing. I’m also impressed by the charity work he does in less developed nations. Very friendly, very knowledgeable, go see him if you need some work done.

I moved to the area a year ago and I really think the worst part of the move was leaving behind our family dentist! We’ve been seeing Dr Krause now for about 6 months and this review is LONG overdue! His small office is up on current technology and his staff is super sweet and helpful. Not only have my kids come to look forward to our appointments (yes, they still ask to visit our previous dentist!), but I have come to personally trust him with my sensitive dental needs. Also, my kids have dental insurance, but I do not. I have never had to pay more than they are covered and my cash-​paying prices have always been super reasonable as well. They even have an in-​house discount plan for those of us without dental insurance.

Today I took my Special Needs (Down Syndrome) daughter to see the dentist Scott Krause. Please do not take your special needs children to see this doctor as his dental X-​ray technician had a terrible bedside manner.
I am sad to report this today but I feel compelled as a Christian to warn other readers.
And no the dentist would not look at my daughter for a visual examination even though the technician could not get the X-​rays done herself.
My daughter has had full panoramic X-​rays done before we moved here… no problems with a little TLC:)

I’m no fan of having to get my teeth drilled out, but this place sure made it as quick and painless as it could possibly get. Great people working there, always friendly and fun to talk to. I’m definitely deciding to come here regularly!!!

Ever since I was a child I’ve been afraid of going to the dentist, but since I’ve started going to Dr. Krause that has changed. Everyone who works here is incredibly nice and kind. I’ve been going here for almost 2 years now, and have never had a bad experience. One time I had to wait 5 minutes to pay because the receptionist was on the phone, which is completely reasonable to me, and even though I said it was okay they gave me a $ 5 gift card for the inconvenience. These guys go above and beyond!

Our family dentist, Dr. Scott Krause, has provided us with timely appointments and excellent workmanship. He has personally done deep cleanings for my husband and a «perfect» crown for me. I appreciated his teaching approach while doing my crown. He patiently explained each procedure as he worked which made a somewhat stressful situation more calming!
Dr. Krause and his staff are extremely personable and professional. I love the fact that at this office you actually get to know the dentist and staff and are not just another number in a assembly line dental service.
I highly recommend Dr. Scott Krause DDS and his staff for all you family dentistry needs. You will leave with quality work and personable, caring service!

We are new to the area and were looking for a dentist when we found a Groupon for Dr. Krause. My husband and I both saw him for cleaning and xrays. He did the first cleaning himself, a mark of a caring dentist. Did a great job! My husband needed no further work, but I needed a worn crown replaced and a bad filling replaced. We agreed to the work, and he did a great job. This was the first time I got a crown that fit properly on the first try! He and all of his staff were totally professional, skilled, and friendly and we recommend them highly and without reservation.

Went to see this Dentist after receiving flayer vie mail. After waiting half an hour dr Krause would not even do a visual inspection claiming that without full x-​ray he can not take a look at it. Felt like I just waisted all this time.

I went today for cleaning, x-​rays and ZOOM whitening.
Dr. Krause was excellent, he even polished a worn filling and I had only used a Living Social coupon. I will definitely be returning.
Lee Ann was also so patient and highly qualified. Dr Krause did the cleaning himself, and Lee Ann the polishing.
Amanda at the front desk is very pleasant.
All in all, a 10!

This is by far, my favorite dentist that I have ever seen! The whole office is amazing and I love everyone working within it! I’ve been going since it was Dr. Hashim and then Dr. Krause took over when he retired. I was a bit nervous to have a new dentist but I went in to see him with an open mind, since I loved the people there so much. It just got even better with Scott! He did a complete remodel on the office and got new equipment. Finally we were able to take x-​rays digitally!
He is the gentlest and kindest dentist! He takes his time with you and is completely patient. When you go in for your cleaning, he is the one who cleans them! I have never had that happen before and I love it because he is so amazingly gentle. There is no fear of going in for a cleaning anymore!!!
