Wells Fargo Bank

Visited the branch today to resolve an issue with my account being charged for an overdraft despite the fact that I had turned off overdraft services.
This has been a problem for me (and a lot of people) in the past, and not only were they unable to waive the fee, but I wasn’t even given a half decent explanation as to how the issue resurfaced in the first place.
A single fee isn’t a big deal. That’s not my main concern. The primary reasoning for my upset rests on the fact that I was denied proper information about the services I receive (breach of Wells Fargo policy) and information regarding the use of deposited funds (breach of California Financial Code).
Having reviewed Wells Fargo policy and California Financial Code, I am confident enough to assert that the customer service representatives have (A) broken the law and (B) broken their own company policy.
I hope that Wells Fargo executives look into the matter and take action against misconduct towards Wells Fargo Bank and its customers by its own employees.
If they do not, I would like to apply for a position at Wells Fargo Bank because I’d love to call myself a banker and just beat around the bush all day while watching people get mad and not getting any work done or being concerned about the welfare of my own company and/​or its customers. Is it any mystery as to why Wells Fargo stock is currently in decline?

I don’t bank with Wells, but I go in to make a monthly deposit to my landlords accounts before becoming a homeowner. Elvin is my go to guy. He is actually a personal banker but I only deal with him because of his great attitude, customer service, and initiative. Wells needs more employees like him. Next month will be opening an account with him. Thank you Elvin for changing my thought of the bigger banks.

I’ve only been to this location a maximum of three times, twice going inside to withdraw a larger amount of money that I can’t do via ATM.
The tellers are always very friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in which is a plus.
I hate the location, not the greatest shopping center. I’d never step foot into this location at night, but it’s the closest Wells to my house.
Today I was a bit thrown off with my visit. I assume it’s standard protocol for the tellers to ask for your ID when you’re withdrawing money. Like I said, I’ve been in only twice so it’s not like they know me at all. I was helped right away and told the girl I needed to withdraw a decently large amount of money (happy rent paying day –_​-​), I swiped my card and she handed me the cash.
She didn’t ask for my ID at all. It’s pretty troubling to me to know that it could’ve been a stranger walking in with my card, or anyone else’s for that matter, and they can so easily withdraw cash without ANY IDENTIFICATION. I have never ever not been asked for my ID from a bank, even for the simplest of transactions.
I’ll most likely keep returning here because of the convenience but beware to everyone else! Maybe the management should consider training the staff less in how to greet customers and more in the basic safety of a transaction.

After thanking me for being a «Valued» customer for over 17 years, the teller asked if I’ve spoken with a «banker» recently. Speaking to the «banker» I was informed that since I did not have direct deposit nor did I maintain a minimum balance, WFB would begin charging me each month. If a «valued» customer is charged a monthly service fee, how do they treat their other customers? I closed my accounts and moved my little monies to my local Federal Credit Union! No service charges there.

After having terrible customer service today at a home improvement store prior to my visit at the branch, I thought I wouldn’t get any great service at all today, it just felt like one of those days.
Well, I was very pleased to say Ms. Laura had excellent customer service. I made sure that I spoke to the manager (via phone call), Ms. Rosa, to commend Ms. Laura of her customer service.
People, that’s all it takes, good customer service to make everyone happy. Thank you Laura!
