A Catered Experience

The food was AMAZING! We had recently worked with them for our wedding and could not have asked for anything better! Wendy was amazing with following through into every detail leading up to the event as well as Rem on the days she was not there =) Every dish was awesome, all the guest REALLY enjoyed it! The Kalbi was definitely the biggest hit! We highly recommend them =)

AWESOME AND DELICOUS!!! We used them to cater our small wedding of 30 people. We communicated through email and their responses were prompt and helpful. They worked with us to put together a custom BBQ menu. They delivered everything on time and with no problems. The food was yummy and plentiful. We have no complaints!
Just a note: they do not provide the chaffing dishes for keeping the food hot, so be prepared. You may be able to request them.

I ordered thanksgiving dinner. The food was good, and I didn’t have to cook. I will be probably ordering Christmas dinner from them too.

Just had my son’s first birthday at the Okinawan Center. Arrived they’re a little early to start setting up but to my surprised table set up wasn’t the way I expected. They’re was a misunderstanding but I am so glad that they was able to fix it quickly. I would like to say thank you to all the crews and specially the manager and assistant manager on duty that day for doing an awesome job. I really appreciate your effort in making your customers satisfied. And yes, food and service was good. They even packed left over food which we donated at the homeless shelter right after the party. I love using A Catered Experience for my events. They are quick, detailed, and great to work with. Corrine and team are helpful and welcoming. The BBQ teriyaki chicken is my favorite. It has a light sauce and the chicken isn’t dry. Great customer service!

I’ve used A Catered Experience for work breakfasts. They are prompt and professional. The food was hot and good and the price was 25% less than other competitors. Very happy.

Prices start at $ 6.95/head for Menu A, minimum 25 people. I got the deluxe Menu D which was $ 11.75/head and I have leftovers for the next month.

If you need a ton of food and you can’t cook… like me =) This is a good place to start. They have menus that start at 6.95 per person. How can you beat that? I wasn’t thrilled with their selected menu, but they were happy to include a garlic miso chicken instead of fried chicken to the menu, for a higher price of 7.95 per person. They stated I’d get 4 ounces of chicken per serving. I received the contract via email and noticed that the quote was higher. An email accompanied the contract which stated that the representative misquoted me and the correct price was 8.50 per person. I was not thrilled to receive this piece of news. When I asked her if she could just give it to me for the original quoted price, she said yes but with less food. Again… not happy about this. I later talked to their manager who apologized for the mishap and agreed to give me the originally agreed upon portions and prices.
Surprisingly, they gave me huge amounts of the teriyaki beef! I’m not sure, but it looked like double the amount promised. That definitely made up for such a mistake. Business is business… and bad business on a small island just isn’t smart. Luckily, I spoke with the manager who made things right. I really wanted this to work out since I love Zippys and would love to have a goto caterer who I can count on for good food and good prices.
