Tommy’s Auto Body & Paint

Couldn’t be any more happier from the outcome. I was a little hesitant about having half the bumper being blended in. The finish touch was as if it never happened! Great work. Would highly recommend getting any fix done at tommys shop. They even washed my car and vacuumed the inside! That’s a plus! Thank you so much for the great service !!! :)

I obtained the estimates as the insurance company instructed from the list of recommended auto body companies, but I did not feel I would get the level of customer service I would expect. I asked my mechanic, Goto at Midas Waipahu for a recommendation. He told me to check out Tommy’s Auto Body and Paint.
Willy and his crew are truely professionals. Their shop is organized and clean. Willy patiently explaining the insurance claim process and was honest about the length of time they needed to do the repairs to my truck. Willy called me a week into the repairs, expecting the repair would not take longer than 2 weeks. He explained that additional repairs were needed, he’d already met with the insurance adjuster and an additional check would be mailed to me for the additional work. WHOW! Huge customer service points. A week later, Willy called me to let me know my truck was ready, but the additional repair check hadn’t arrived in my mailbox yet. He said, «Don’t worry, come pick up your truck and bring me the check when you receive it.» WHOW! Huge customer service points. I wasn’t able to make it to Tommy’s the day after the check arrived so my girlfriend took it to him for me. She said, «Such a nice man, and his shop is so clean for all those cars and workers.» If she ever needs repairs, you know she’s coming to you Willy.
I went back to Tommy’s Auto & Paint about 7 months later. A load of dirt I was hauling had leaked between the tailgate and the bottom of the bed. That never happened before the accident. Willy remembered me by name. He did a thorough inspection and explained that it was not an accident related problem but a wear and tear issue. He mcguivered some padding, scraps from his shop, under my tailgate liner. MAGIC. Thanks Willy. You’re the BEST!

Got estimates from Central, Unibody, Westside and finally went ahead with Tommy’s. Got a good vibe too like the other reviewer Patrick D. First place I was greeted with a smile. Some other shops were always trying to justify there cost, felt they had to explain the damage, and just left me feeling more miserable. Willy listened and was willing to work with me on what I wanted done. Dropped it off Saturday. Ready for pickup Wednesday. Called him that I wasn’t going to make it by closing. He waited until I got there.
Noticed he even fixed the interior door panel too, which he didn’t have to.
I’ll be back.

I only got an estimate at Tommy’s, but the experience was much better than at the «Westside» body shop next door and cheaper than others in the area. I have a good bullshit-​meter and detected none here. I haven’t decided whether to get work done here or back on the mainland though.

Tommy’s is first rate in my book. Took my car there for repair after an accident and they really did a stellar job. The owner, Willy, is awesome… Best customer service and quality work. Thanks for everything, Willy!
