*update.
a picture does not justify anything. being that it was takin almost 40min. after I dropped off my car. check in process with customer? i dont recall. I admire my car. I cant explain each dent on it. its obvious a circular tool of some sort fell on my hood. I suggest to avoid further discrepancies you folks should do a verbal walk through in person with the obvious damages to the car itself. and take the pics with the customer present and to be made aware of what you are documenting before hand.

Awesome!!! Very friendly and nice customer service. They worked very well with me as well as the other party (who was going to pay). Only a little over a day fixture. If you need a loner car, they give it to you free or charge. Just fill up the tank before returning it (common curiosity). When I got my car back the insides were vacuumed as well as washed and wiped on the outside.
It’s a hidden spot in Waipahu but I found it easily. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

I had to take three different cars here within the last year. Unfortunate, because two were due to accidents, but lucky for me because I found a great auto body shop.
Family owned, by Dave, and managed by Randy, I’ve had nothing but excellent service and excellent work on my cars. The accidents weren’t my fault so I didn’t have to pay out of pocket, and they have a great partnership with Enterprise nearby if your insurance covers rental fees.
Randy was excellent helping me on the phone with estimates, giving me the rundown when inspecting the car, and trying to leave as little for me to worry about during the process.
None of this would matter if they didn’t do good work but I’ve had something as small as a few scratches, to a window and fender being smashed, and they made it look like brand new.
Great work and great service — I would highly recommend this local family business!

Awesome shop! My Tacoma looks better than before and the service was quicker than expected.

This place is the best autobody place on the island. Got my quarter panel fixed and repainted after I got hit by an asian girl on the freeway. Big Dave hooked me up and fixed it all nice nice.

Brought my car in, really friendly staff! They took 10 mins to tell me how much my quote was and also found the cheapest way to get the job done. Really legit!

Really professional and friendly. The quality of the service is top notch. Got paint job for a dent in the bumper of my Lexus and he matched the color paint perfectly, looked like factory quality. Ask for Big Dave.

Instead of the fourteen days you told me that it will take to get it done. And thanks for the loaner car, you save me a lot of money. You guys made the ordeal Painless. I will highly recommend Westside fender to my friends and family.

Brought my car in to fix damages caused by rear end, Westside Fender was recommended on a «GRP» (Guaranteed Repair Program) by Geico.
Had a few cosmetic scratches and a dent that I wanted fixed (unrelated to accident) was quoted $ 125.
A week later went in to pick up my vehicle. Did a walk around… the damages to the rear end were fixed, but only half of the cosmetic fixes were done. Was told to bring the vehicle back later to have the others fixed. Paid the deductible and $ 125 and drove the vehicle home.
Tried reversing the vehicle into a stall and realized I had no reverse lights. I also found numerous scratches all around the vehicle that weren’t there prior to being in the shop.
Brought the vehicle back the next day and spoke to shop owner David to fix reverse lights, unfinished work on cosmetic areas, and scratches made while vehicle was in his possession. Was told they will be fixed and scratches «buffed» and to come back in an hour.
Came back and the only thing fixed was Lights (apparently caused by burnt out bulbs due to accident) mind you I was able to drive 1 month between the date of accident and date of drop off without any issues with lights.
NONE of the scratches Westside Fender made to my vehicle were fixed. They attempted to fix a nick I had listed as cosmetic repair with black paint (my vehicle is dark grey).
I asked for a refund. $ 125 in «repairs» was given back.
David took no ownership for damages done to my vehicle. There were no apologies or remorse. David offered no consolation due to his shops negligence.
I had high expectations for Westside Fender due to such great reviews. It all fell short when David forgot what customer service is. BIG disappointment.

It was the first time Matson had damaged my lovely red car, but when I picked it up today from Westside it was beautiful! Not only that but the people at Westside are wonderful to work with. They went out of their way to accommodate my needs and it reminded me why I love returning to Hawaii and the nice people who live here.

Brought my 2014 Kia Soul here and wanted to paint my bumpers and rocker molding. Love the work that they did and also the people here. Very helpful and made sure I felt like home. The company has great workers and always friendly and helpful. Thanks to them I recommend others here!!!

This place is awesome! The reviews say it all. I brought my car hear because I got into an accident an my insurance recommended I take my car here. They are very friendly and they explained everything to me. After having my car towed there, I asked how long it would take fix my vehicle and they told me four weeks. I thought this was long because the rental I had was only covered for 30 days and it would be cutting it close. But after about two weeks I called for an update and they said they were almost done. They just had to finish assembling everything :) So my car was done in like two weeks!!! When I went to pick it up it looked new!!! They washed and vacuumed my car!!!
I highly recommend you take your car here! I will definitely be taking my car here for everything :)

This place is amazing! I found it on Unilocal when my girlfriend’s car got into a fender bender. Josh and his staff were willing to communicate what was wrong and provide estimates for replacement the whole way through. No other place would even talk to me about my vehicle. One place even said it would be best for me to just buy a new car! The Guys at Westside are even willing to work off photos and actually reply to emails and phone calls in a timely manner. That was unheard of in my experiences working with other body shops and repair places. Take your vehicle to these guys and you will not be disappointed. When the vehicle was finished it was immaculate and was $ 1,000 under estimated cost! Class act and save the customer money.

I wish I could give them more stars! One of THE best companies I have dealt with, definitely in the top 3 for sure. I had to have my rear bumper totally replaced not to mention getting dents out of the rear gate and right side panel due to a $#!*%* driver, initials CT, who slammed into my parked vehicle. She had GEICO so I went there since their satellite office is located and got a quote. Since Enterprise was nearby and I was ok’d for a rental car I had Westside do the repair job.
Whoa when I picked it up; first job completed in half the time quoted, the work was like HOT DAMN! it was brand new. I could only exclaim how B E A U T I F U L the job was. From the rear my truck looks brand f-​ing new. No kidding. The dents were done seamlessly like you couldn’t even tell it was dented.
I love Dave! I hope he’s the owner, cuz he’s just the greatest in my book. Then while I was going nuts over the great repair work, I open my truck and double f-​ing damn, they detailed it like WTH cuz it was pretty f-​ing dirty. I did not vac or clean for two years, I haul dogs in it for those two years, I got leaves and other debris everywhere from our walks. And it was just sparkling. Not to mention countless spilled soda and coffee cups. Really. I’m that much of a pig, OKAY.
I had to just stand and admire it for a while, seriously. Inside and out it was like almost a brand new car. Even my ugly smeared, caked with dirt tire and rims were shining. Hot damn. There car cleaners must’ve been swearing up a storm as they did my car cuz it was filthy. I wouldn’t blame them either. I was pretty shaken to see what a great job I did and the cleanliness and that is something I normally do not do. Fo’ realz.
If I could, I’d give ‘em all the stars in the skies, it was that good. Now THIS is a place where pride in work and taking it one step beyond means something. Rare these days. You’re lucky these days if they barely get the work promised let alone more than that.
Not Westside, you get MORE then expected and from this jaded older woman that means something. So lessons learned: 1) if you get hit by a car, ensure it’s an older driver who carries FULL coverage and not some young kid who has the minimum 2) any body damage, take it immediately to Westside. Not only for the great work but also cuz they deal with Enterprise so you can get a rental car + pickup.
I’m still blown away by their work btw, and you know how snarky I can be… but not one small bitch outta me on this.

Highly recommend this place! I came to Westside to take care of an insurance claim– my poor 2009 Nissan Versa reversed into a pole. It was so bad that I felt like crying everytime I saw my car… (see before and after pictures)
The repairs were estimated to take 2 weeks but I was able to get a loaner car in the meantime, and they finished the work in only 1.5 weeks. The car looked completely new like the accident never happened… which is pretty amazing considering welding and color matching were involved. Plus, it felt like they cleaned the car inside and out. Josh and Dave both gave great service and were super professional throughout the process, and the whole ordeal couldn’t have gone smoother. Thank you Westside! Will be coming back again if I ever *knock on wood* need repairs again.

TAKE UR VEHICLE HERE! These guys are so awesome! We had both our insurance claims fixed here on our new 2014 Ram Dodge truck. The estimate from the on site Geico was very fair & everybody is super friendly. The whole experience was pain less stress-​free & extremely professional. They had to do so many different things to fix our truck & every bit if it was beyond my satisfaction. High-​five guys! Thank you sooo much for all your great work!

When I first called Westside fender they were the most willing and ready to answer all my questions. So we brought our van to them. They fixed it in a matter of less than 3 weeks! And our front right of our van was pretty damaged from a crash. When we picked up our van it looked brand new! They even washed it! Awesome service. Josh was very professional and informative!

Took my car here to have the bumper replace and fender fixed. They did an awesome job and cleaned my tires. If i ever need body work done (hopefully not) i will return to this place.

This place was recommended to me by my insurance company after getting into an accident. They assessed the damages immediately after receiving my vehicle and reported to my insurance within the same day! The staff kept me informed and were very polite. The only thing I can complain about is the stray cats just lounging around their facility. Eff cats, but that’s just me.

After getting into two accidents in 3 days (yes, count ‘em, TWO), I knew I needed to get my car fixed because 1. I hate driving around in a ghetto looking car and 2. My active head restraints were deployed so I was giving myself even more whiplash by driving my car in this condition. Westside Fender came recommended by a few friends so I decided to go down to them to get an estimate. As soon as I pulled up, a guy by the name of David got down to business and inspected every nook and cranny of the damages. As soon as he was done, David patiently explained what he found and what would need to be done. I was surprised that such a young guy could be so knowledgeable about everything related to my car. It helped that he had an ASE certificate on the wall of his air conditioned office.
As soon as the estimate was done, I was sold, so we got the process started right away. He worked with the insurance companies and helped secure a loaner for me. I literally was expecting to wait at least a week for everything to be done, but with a blink of an eye, I got the call that my car was ready and life was beginning to feel normal again. When I got my car back, it looked better than it did before my accidents! I couldn’t be happier! Not everyone can suffer through whiplash and come out with a nicer car than they started with. And for that, David, I am grateful. Hopefully I’ll never have to go through this again, but if my unlucky stars align again, you can bet I’m driving straight to this place.
