P & L Automotive Detailing Auto Dealers

I really hate to have to write this, because I understand that this is someone’s livelihood, but I read these reviews on this site because they’re honest, and I feel like I’d be dishonest if I didn’t update my review. Honestly, the last time I wrote my review, I was just so grateful to have my car back.
When the appraiser looked at my car, they initially valued the damage at around $ 2K… However, after all was said and done, the damage came out to about $ 9,000, which should’ve totaled my car. I was annoyed because they had the car for over a month and a half and never updated me or my insurance company to even tell me that that was an option… Then, when I asked why, the owner told me it was because they ordered all of the parts before evaluating all of the damage. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but it’s not the way I’d run a business.
My car ran well, but several weeks after getting it back, I started to notice that the front driver’s side headlight was going out intermittently… I brought it to the dealer because I also had to get my breaks changed and was told that the headlight was wired incorrectly and was not compatible with my car. I had to pay $ 300 for a new one, which I saw as pretty unfair.
I feel bad because everyone was really nice there, but hopefully my updated review makes them update some of their business practices.
