Walla Walla Super 8 Motel

Hotel was nice & clean. Continental breakfast was what one would expect. The front desk clerk was really nice when we checked in. A few of the people (especially the one cleaning up the breakfast station) in the morning were on the unfriendly side & seemed to not be very happy. Overall a good stay. Parking lot seemed safe & was fairly quiet despite being somewhat close to highway.

Great place!!! Love the staff and the rooms! Newly remodeled rooms and very nice! Had a lot of fun and the pool was so refreshing after a long hard day!!!

Good value when purchased at reduced rate. Convenient location and friendly staff. The room was clean and fairly up to date with all of the amenities we needed like tv, wifi, refrigerator, microwave & hairdryer. The pool/​jacuzzi area is clean but quite small.

I travel 3 nights a week for work. I try to stay at a Super 8 because, generally, they’re clean and quiet. I say «generally» because (rarely) one of them is poorly managed and shows it. But, I am happy to say that this is not the case here!
Friendly reception, nice clean and quiet room. I’m hoping this one is better than last night’s (LaGrande, of all places!) but that large, clean room with the brand, spankin’ new king size bed will be hard to beat!
Indoor pool and sauna here too!
Ask for extra coffee at check-​in…
Oh… bring food if you don’t want to have to go out… nothing close by!

Price quoted on phone was not what I was charged even after checking in and being told I would get the price. Called my room to tell me they were going to charge me more. Staff was unavailable most of the day. Usually only stay here on my trips but never again. Water doesn’t get too hot. Saw a man in hall with a gun in a holster. Asked if he was security he stated no it was his personal weapon. SCARY!!!

clean. quiet. updated. what more could we ask for? oh yes, a pool. we could ask for a pool and they have one!

As a trucker one of the first things I look for is parking. This place has plenty of room for trucks. Nice remodeled rooms… microwave, fridge and flatscreen. Also has pool and hot tub. Restaurant and Albertsons grocer is just a short walk away.

This is a clean, apparently newly redone motel VERY near the airport. The bed was comfortable, new flatscreen, neat clean bathroom with not a lot of amenities. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is again scant, but functional. I would stay here again.

First room smelled like smoke even thought it was a «non-​smoking» room. They moved us to a new room, fine… great. but. the new room was missing the fridge and microwave the first one had and the heater in neither room worked very well at all.
The shower doesn’t get hot, really, at all.

Needed to attend a funeral in Lewiston, ID, WSU Dads weekend on top of WSU and UofI home football games forced us to Walla Walla. The only rooms we could find were here. Dirty, rundown dump of a motel, smells bad, (smoke/​locker room combo) in a non-​smoking room! pool was cold, jacuzzi broken, breakfast was sparse and heavy on the carbs. Stay away, sleep in your car you will be better off.

Perfect for my overnight stay. Simple room with simple amenities at a great price. I didn’t use the pool, laundry, vending machines or eat the breakfast. The are pet friendly for a $ 10 fee which is pretty standard. They have express booking too where you can just enter your name and email address online and they’ll hold your room until 6pm. I didn’t use this option. I called in my reservation and it was really easy. Obviously it’s not the Ritz but I felt the price was reasonable and I just needed a place to stay over night.

I really debated weather this deserved a two or three star. I went for the two because they still have smoking rooms. The only reason I really debated was the pool. I had thought about giving the 3, however since I would not come back I wouldn’t give that high a ranking. Do people still think that smoke stays in the smoking rooms? The breakfast was ok at best. Coffee ran out, waffle batter ran out, and warm fruit salad. Juice was good, and they had cold cereal and yogurt as well which was a welcome addition. All in all, unless they completely eliminate in room smoking, and seal the walls so it will not continue to seep through I don’t recommend this.

Run away, don’t walk. Horrible place, horrible service. Rooms smelled, I had to go to the front desk to get the girls to restock the breakfast. They were too busy to do anything but sit up front.

A group of us stayed here during Spring Release Weekend. Experienced cold showers, clogged sinks, smell of smoke even in non-​smoking rooms, broken and outdated hairdryers. This hotel could use some work. Our group agreed that we would pay $ 20 or more to stay at a different hotel in the future.

No complaints about Super 8 in Walla Walla… this is a safe, clean place to stay when visiting Central WA. Room doors are inside the building.
Our room was actually pretty spacious as budget hotel rooms go, and it included essentials such as a hair dryer and coffee maker. I’m not quite sure what the deal was with the TV as although I found cable channels like TLC, I couldn’t tune in to guilty pleasures such as MTV. Perhaps Super 8 was just looking out for me.
We left too early to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast, but this is an amenity included in the room rate. There was also a jacuzzi and perhaps a pool as well, but we didn’t explore the aquatic facility. The best thing of all, though: free wi-​fi. Oh yeah.
This Super 8 is pet-​friendly and dogs can stay for for a small extra charge… a good or bad thing depending on your circumstances. The golden retriever rooming downstairs from us woke us up momentarily with his bark, but I could hear his owner quickly shush him. (Which perhaps is evidence that Super 8’s walls aren’t particularly thick.)
