We carry custom-​made jewelry too. We feel that it is such a nice treat to be able to choose a unique, one-​of-​a-​kind piece of jewelry that no one else could have. Our custom-​made jewelry comes in all shapes and sizes, all colors and in gemstones and jewels. Nothing is exactly like the other and we truly enjoy the sight when our customers find that piece of jewelry that fits their style and their like-​mindedness. Within our jewelry store, you can browse the cabinets of fine pieces, try something on and see how it looks. It is always an option to add a gem or a jewel to make it your own. I love this place. Arturo and George are so delightful that they make you feel like they «missed you» since you were in last. I feel like Arturo treats me like a friend rather than a customer. I’ve been going to him since before his hair started to get salt and pepper! ha, ha
They have done all kinds of repairs for me at a very reasonable cost. I’ve asked them to do the impossible and Arturo will mull it over and when you come back he will have come up with several solutions to tackle the problem. He’ll let you decide which way to go that suits your tast and pocketbook best. He’s great with public relations and is a real creative craftsman.
Also his jewelry cleaning is superb. My diamond ring never sparkled so brite. That reminds me, gotta make a A & G run before Christmas! Ho, Ho, Ho all over yourselves!

I had quite a lot of gold jewelry and diamonds to sell. After reading a number of Unilocal reviews for the WC area, I made a list of places to visit and get bids for cashing in on all this jewelry I hadn’t worn in years.
A & G was my 2nd stop out of 3. The bottom line is, they gave me the best price for all my stuff! They’ll buy your diamonds too, whereas other places who specialize in gold or/​& coins will not.
They were honest and very professional, as well as charming. I know where I will go when I have a need for a piece of jewelry in the future!

I chose A&G jewelers based on the good Unilocal reviews and wasn’t disappointed. My diamond had fallen out of my platinum 1930’s wedding ring (luckily I found it!) I needed the diamond re-​set and wanted to get it re-​shanked as the bottom had worn very thin due to the age of the ring. I brought it in and was quoted a very reasonable price for both when the Pave store in Berkeley was going to charge me more just to re-​shank and I ended up getting both for a little less than the price Pave quoted me. One week later I had my ring back and it was perfect! I was so worried that it wouldn’t look the same but it actually came back looking better and I will never have to worry about the diamond falling out or having the shank crack on me if I hit it on something.
Besides doing quality work, the men that work/​run this place were so nice and personable, I really felt that they treat everyone the same no matter how much you spend (which is how it should be) but we’ve all had that experience where they don’t. I highly recommend!

So far I have had watch batteries replaced, a watch seal repaired, and gems removed from old gold jewelry so that I could sell them the gold. Fantastic experiences all three times. They keep careful inventory and prices are very fair! Always so pleasant and patient, too. Looking forward to designing something using my loose stones…

I am very sorry to say that this place has fallen off dramatically. I get the strong impression that they are way too busy and have taken on way too much so their work has gotten hurried and sloppy. The last modification they did for me was not what I had asked for and not what they had told me they would do when I dropped it off. It is really too bad because they are very nice and i know they are capable of great work but that isn’t what I have gotten the last couple times I was in there.

Amazing service, great prices, beautiful store, convenient location. My SO and I stopped in here to have a watch battery replaced; the service was very fast and friendly and we were also able to purchase a new watch band from a wide selection and have it installed, all within a few minutes. Very deserving of 5 stars!

I came in for some very simple jewelry modifications. I was given a quote and told to come back in 7 days to pick up my pieces. I was given a slip to note my order number but there was no actual quote attached.
7 days later I come in to pick up my pieces to find the work was still not completed and needed another day (fine with me, I was in no rush).
I picked up my work the next day and it was just OK. Not finished professionally the way I expected but I was new to this store and didn’t really want to make a fuss. When it came to paying my bill I really should have said something because I was charged slightly more than I was originally quoted but since they don’t provide written quotes I had no proof.
My experience wasn’t a bad one as the people that work at the store are nice but I suggest if you want expertly finished work (ie. no excess solder etc) go somewhere else!

I’m short on cash so I gathered up some old jewelry that I don’t have a use for anymore — I found this place on Unilocal and it had such great reviews that I decided to give them a try. I went in on my lunch hour to try to sell them my jewelry — I was helped right away; service was friendly and fast. They offered me way more than I expected to get so needless to say, I walked out a very happy customer and would recommend this place to anyone!

I work in Walnut Creek and was turned onto these guys by the five-​star Unilocal ratings. As it turns out they are within walking distance from my office but after having used them for an «emergency» repair on a wedding ring jacket I can honestly say I’d be happy to hop in the car and drive to them no matter the distance.
Happy/​passionate owners = happy customers. The owners are super friendly, courteous and good at what they do. The ring I had fixed was done in less than a week (other places said 2 – 3 weeks) and it look absolutely brand new. So new in fact that I took my own ring in the next week to have polished — and LOVE it.
Prices are very reasonable and they have some beautiful jewelry that they either sell from their buy/​sell trade or create themselves. In the future if I have things to sell will always start with them.
