Back 2 Perfect

I had the best experience at Back 2 Perfect yesterday! I was completely satisfied and pleased with my cellulite body wrap, detox massage & microcurrent LED body-​sculpting treatment. Stephanie is friendly, funny, and made me feel totally comfortable. She is knowledgeable and very intuitive to my needs. Her professionalism & services are amazing!!! I felt so good after my treatment, I booked my next three appts. with her for month of June.

My first experience with microcurrent and wrap… I loved it… This was only the second time I ever had a massage, which the first time I was not real comfortable, but figured I would give it a second try as I found them on groupon. Acouple of things I really liked were the fantastic customer service from the greeting as you walk in from everyone and love the unique quaint environment. I’m absolutely going to be back… Next week for a facial…

I love this little place. I went to Cody a few times last year for shoulder issues and was so happy with his work; he is friendly and professional and does great work. I saw improvement in long-​time shoulder issues. Last Saturday, I was having some unusual and frustrating pain in the lower left half of my body (QL down to the foot) and was able to get a last-​minute appointment with Sarah Donnelly — can’t recommend her enough. She is, like Cody, incredibly intuitive, has a gentle touch, and I saw immediate and incredibly relieving results. They have really easy booking and regular specials. Great place!

I have been a client for 7 – 8 months, I started with the deluxe signature treatment, which gives amazing results! and then I got a taste of massage Skill of my therapist Lori! WOW! She is out of this world! I have a really stressful life, and always used massage to ground me for the last past 10yrs therefore I have tried more than 20 different therapist in different countries! Lori is the best I ever had. She is addictive, and gets to know your body and work it out the best way! I could not keep my sanity without her right now!

I have been to Back 2 Perfect twice for severe neck/​shoulder pain. Both times I have left feeling rejuvenated and in much less pain. I have seen Laura and Sarah and they have both been really respectful of my pressure tolerance and they put forth a genuine concern for my well being. I look forward to more massages and potentially looking into their other services as well.

Just got done with a body wrap and microcurrent (their Express Signature) treatment with Natalie. This was my second treatment and always very relaxing.
She starts out with the microcurrent for tightening up my skin then finishes with the wrap that has a hint of cinnamon, so not only does it smell good but it gets rid of some water weight so I leave with my skin softer and feeling lighter. Will be back next month.
Also want to send a shout out to Cody, always enjoy my monthly deep tissue massages that keep my neck and shoulder pain away. He always does a great job!

While I received great treatments from 2 of the therapists at Back 2 Perfect and was helped in my recovery from the motorcycle accident, the owner of this business is so unorganized and unreasonable, that I was dropped without ever a conversation with her. She had her receptionist tell me that I could not schedule any further appts. There is a pending law suit in which she stand to receive a sizeable amount of money, but it seemed that rather than treat her clients with any concern she was more interested in money. Although she herself had said she was really interested in helping me recover, it was soon evident that the money was far more important to her than my well being. She could have received money if she had been organized enough to communicate properly with the attorney’s office, but she failed in that regard as well. I was not treated with any respect from this owner — she didn’t even have the decency to speak to me in person. The owner never contacted me again — the therapists were really upset regarding her handling of the entire situation.

I wouldn’t call it a sport massage, or maybe I am just used to better messages.
This more like a relaxing massage because all my knots are still there.
If you are looking for a soothing relaxing soft massage this is your place.

My 2 friends and I sometimes meet in Walnut Creek since it is a good central meeting place from where we all live. We were able to book 3 appointments to celebrate a birthday. Laura the owner was super sweet and accommodating and was able to book as all at the same time. We experienced the various specialties of the staff: My friends had Laura for a massage & sports injury and Sheryl for a facial and I had a myofascial release massage by Cody. All the treatments were exemplary and moreover they made us feel comfortable and welcome!

Amazing! I came in today for relaxation and to try some of the treatments. I feel like a million bucks. Laura is so sweet and knew how to treat my neck and shoulder pain. She made me feel so comfortable and explained the process. I can’t wait to come back for more!

Not only did Laura Cartwright give me a complete refund but has genuinely welcomed me even with my skin issues to try a different treatment. Her note to me was apologetic and sincere. This is an place! I have been seeing Laura for over 9 plus years, she is a true healer in every sense of the word. This quaint little house of healing is not a big mega day spa, but you will feel immediate results. When you call in request the micro-​current with your massage. Everyone that works here is passionate and dedicated at their craft of wellness and healing.

Best place to go for therapeutic massages! In the past I would get my massages from Burke Williams, Claremont, Sonoma Mission inn and though they have the RESORT/​DAY SPA ambiance, I much prefer getting massages that actually make me feel better than just that day. These people know what they are doing and are very knowledgeable when it comes to injury treatment. I have a lot of chronic problems in my neck as well as my hips and knees. Since seeing them I have gotten so much relief and fewer episodes of acute pain.
So far I have seen almost all of the massage therapists at Back2Perfect and would highly recommend any of them. They are all great at what they do, but each of them have their own «style» or focus of treatment, which I will try to summarize.
Laura is great with injury relief. Much of her treatment utilizes micro current and a laser to speed up the healing and get rid of the inflammation that builds up around the joints. She is super friendly to talk to and makes you feel totally at ease.
Cody’s myofascial release technique is awesome. You will feel like your range of motion increases right after the massage. He is great at working out all the kinks.
Do not be intimidated by his urban appearance. He is a warm and super professional!
Christian: you MUST see Christian if you enjoy Deep bodywork, and able to work out sore muscles like you won’t believe. He has an eastern medicine approach and will get on your back and use his feet which is very effective. Although he isn’t very talkative and I didn’t tell him where all my sore spots were, he instinctively knew and was able to work them out. He is really strong, so if you are more into a swedish massage, I am certain that he would do a great job, but you probably want to tell him that up front.
Sarah: lymphatic drainage technique took the puffiness out of my face and neck! I didn’t even know it was puffy until after and I noticed I looked less swollen… and all this time I thought it was just fat! LOL… Not to mention she is excellent at massage as well.
All in all this group of therapists are all very effective and really care about wellness and making you feel better.
Finally, don’t forget to see Sheryl if you want a great facial! She is very knowledgable about products and skin types and what you will need without trying to sell you a bunch of stuff. She also uses a micro current on your face which will give you a little temporary lift :). She is super professional and makes you very relaxed.

Best massage ever had. Even my husband almost fainted after the massage and did not want to leave. Sarah and Laura was awesome. Will come back every month here if they have special. They know how to make you feel good after a working hard.

Sheryl is awesome! I have seen her 2 times for a facial and a peel. She is sooo sweet and very Knowledgeable. That’s saying a lot coming from the girl who has tried everything on the market! The products are great and the staff is friendly. Would defiantly recommend Sheryl for anyone looking to transform your skin.

Wow, I’ve never walked out of this place feeling less than completely relaxed and pampered! I’ve had massages and body treatments by Laura, Diane, Christian and Cody and they were all awesome (I have yet to try Sarah, who I hear is amazing)! Each one of them has their unique technique — Cody does myofascial release, a more subtle yet at the same time deep type of bodywork, Diane and Laura do a deep tissue while also incorporating LED/​microcurrent therapy (to help dissolve that scar tissue) and Christian has his own wonderful style as well. The only downside is that it’s a little pricier than other places I’m used to, which prevents me from going as often as I’d like, but I think the prime Walnut Creek location is a factor here.

Just had my first myofascial release massage with Cody. It was (pardon the pun) — hands down — the best massage of my life. Cody is a gifted man. I can’t wait for my next visit.

I just tried a detox body wrap with Sheryl. She was great, and the wrap was so relaxing. I have had a few body wraps, all different types. This kind is the one with saran wrap – works wonders! Sheryl was so informative throughout the experience, and checked in several times to make sure I was comfortable during the heating portion. Laura, the owner, is wonderful as well! It is clear they both love what they do. This is a great place to feel pampered!

OK… I found a deal through Living Social and decided this would be a perfect venue to throw a bachelorette spa day for one of my girls. It was located in the heart of Walnut Creek where we could have lunch at one of the nearby restaurants and shop for the rest of the afternoon.
Iff you’re booking for one person, you can book your own appointment online through their website and choose your own masseuse. However, to book big groups, that’s not feasible. I had a group of 5 girls so I called directly but was only greeted to an answering machine. I had to leave a message and a few days later, Laura, the owner, called me back.
Laura is very friendly, flexible, and totally accommodating. I explained to her that I was hosting a bachelorette event and needed to schedule multiple massages at one time within a 2 hour timeframe. She was able to set 3 individual massages at 10am and the other 2 following after. Within the next few days, my appointments were confirmed via email. (I had booked my appointments months in advance so Laura had plenty of time to coordinate staffing needs on her end).
A week or two before the event, I received email reminders of my scheduled appointments, this time, providing the name of the masseuse. I wanted to talk with Laura in person to make sure that all was taken care of. Again, I left her a voicemail message and later that afternoon, she was quick to return my call. She then informed me that they relocated to even a bigger spot and that the location is right behind Walnut Creek Bart station. That was totally convenient! One of my girlfriends was coming from the SF and took bart into WC.
The day of our spa services arrived… FINALLY! When I drove to the new location, it was actually a one story home hidden between business buildings. Odd. Anyhoo, we walked in and it looked like like a vacant home? I got a bit worried. It definitely was not your typical spa resort. Thankfully, my girlfriends are totally open-​minded about new experiences! LOL!
Laura and her team (Cody and Marjorie all greeted us). We filled out a form and proceeded to walk into the spa rooms. The master bedroom facilitated 2 people; the other spare room facilitated one. I had Cody so I got my own room. At the end of our massages, the girls shared notes and based on what I’ve heard, EACH MASSEUSE was great! They definitely knew what kinks to work on, they paid close attention to things that we were sensitive to; by the time your session was over, you felt brand new. I had serious issues with my neck and lower back. Cody has «GREAT HANDS!» LOL (inside joke)! Once Cody was done with me, I felt like I could do backflips! =) He may not be as fluid with his technique but he got the job done. I was fine with it.
Back 2 Perfect, may not be as fru-​fru or offer the little extra nice-​ities that other spa resorts may have, but if you’re trying to get some kinks worked on at a coupon deal, this isn’t a bad spot. And honestly, the staff was really friendly. That in itself, is worth going back.

I had gotten a Living Social deal for this place, and was stoked because it was really close to home and I don’t get many massages (this was actually the third professional massage i’ve gotten in my life). I figured, why not pamper myself? I’ve been stressed out lately, and I could definitely use the break!
It was a little hard to find, but they make sure to give you directions beforehand. Due to some miscommunication, my appointment was rescheduled 3 times which was a little frustrating.
I walked in and met Cody at the front desk (who ended up being my masseuse). He was nice and friendly. I gotta say that I’ve never been comfortable choosing a male as anything (doctors, OB/​GYN, masseuses), but he put me at ease and I felt completely comfortable with him. He wasn’t sleazy, he wasn’t creepy and his presence was just very relaxing and calming. When I didn’t talk, he didn’t talk, but if I talked, then he would respond and was very nice and funny. Towards the end we started joking around and he just made me feel at ease. He was also very informative and explained in detail as to what he’s doing, why he was doing it and why it was important for those things to happen.
After we were finished, he tried to get me to sign up for another session, which I declined due to the prices.
Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. If I had more disposable income, I would come here once a week!
