Ben Samrick – State Farm Insurance Agent

Ben Samrick’s office is full of incredibly helpful employees. I can’t count the number of times Charisma and Megan helped me in sending over documents, prepping something for my business ASAP, and general advice! I know it’s easy to take customer service for granted… but this team of folks really comes through A+ every time! :)

I have been a State Farm policy holder for ten years. Originally I started with another agent (my landlord at the time) whose daughter did her admin work, and provided PLENTY of bad attitude. I ended up switching to Ben, and noticed an immediate difference. Ben really took his time with us, identifying our needs, making coverage suggestions, and even helped us with some minor financial planning. I never felt pressured or rushed, and always walked away feeling confident about policy changes\additions, etc.
Charisma is AWESOME, she is always very helpful, and she is on top of things. She really seems to put considerable effort into supporting the policy holder. She is genuine, and incredibly helpful.
My previous agent didn’t put any effort into her customer service, nor did she evaluate our needs. The relationship was barely professional. Ben and the rest of team are there to help, and they do it with a ‘smile’.
I highly recommend Ben, whether you are with another agent, or are simply looking for a new carrier.

Due to some bad luck, (break-​in & a leak), I was looking at having to file multiple claims in the same year. Ben helped me navigate through this process, and advised me on how to prepare for incidents in the future. It’s the first time someone’s walked me through insurance issues & it made all the difference in the world. I’d recommend Ben & team to friends in the future.

I have been a State Farm Insurance customer for over 10 years. Ben’s office has always been reliable and gives me consistent, friendly and thorough service. It’s nice to call my insurance agency and get a live person to answer the phone! Ben is honest and very knowledgeable. Charisma has been with Ben for years and gives me fantastic service. She anticipates my needs and always goes above and beyond to help me. I’m not sure about other State Farm offices, but Ben’s office is definitely a great office!

Switched from Progressive after a horrible claims experience. While I haven’t nor do I ever hope to have to file a claim with State Farm; I must admit that my experience so far has been nothing short of stellar. Ben and Tammy are extremely professional and responsive.

We first moved to State Farm when Ben was in Emeryville and our previous insurer/​agent (rhymes with «Tall Gate») really let down another friend by denying an otherwise very legitimate claim.
When we first met with Ben, even he was appalled by the story of the above and he explained how SF might’ve handled a similar case and we talked about how to get my own coverage so that — well — I’m actually covered.
What started as a relationship centered around condo– insurance (on a condo in Emeryville) extended to – eventually — car insurance, motorcycle insurance, homeowners insurance and life insurance when we moved to Concord (at the same time they moved to Walnut Creek).
I trust Ben (and Charisma) and really appreciate that I have someone on the other end who can pick up the phone or answer my emails (they’re /​very/​good with email correspondence).
The one claim I’ve had was handled without a hiccup. The payout was prompt, hassle-​free and further confidence instilling.
So, if you like dealing with folks who’s hand you can shake (as opposed to someone in a different time-​zone), speak to Ben and Charisma. They won’t let you down… and they’re right around the corner.

My policy is under Mark Samrick, but I believe that the service of the entire office is reflective of the integrity and business of everyone at their office. I moved to California 4 years ago. We made a few moves, got married, changed our name, and had a claim. I cannot imagine anyone making all of these things any easier than the Samrick team! I always know that a call afterhours will result in a return call the next morning with accurate and helpful info. Tremendous customer service and integrity in business like this is rare… I believe they will have success for years by continuing to do all of the right things!

I’ve been with Statefarm for quite some time now, and switched over to Ben’s office when I moved to the bay area several years ago. This was when the office was in Emeryville. I was saddened to hear that they moved but my auto policy is still through his office.
I haven’t dealt much with Ben, but Charisma is fantastic. She really knows her stuff, has excellent customer serivce, and is very personable. She helped me get a multi line discount on my auto policy, which ended up with me paying less on my insurance premium overall but getting additional coverage. As long as Charisma is there, I will continue to send my business that way.

Ben is GREAT agent! He knows his stuff, is super helpful, and talks to you like a normal human being! I cant stand when some business people, maybe in an effort to seem über proffesional act sort of cold, and talk to you in a way that seems scripted.
I have my car insurance, and term life with Ben, both are amazingly affordable and the coverage is the best I’ve ever had, actually cheaper than I’ve ever experienced anywhere else. I’m happy!

Ben was very helpful and honest. I got a lot more coverage on my home and car insurane than I had with my previous insurance and was able to save some money. He answered all my questions. I am very happy and strongly recommended.

Ben & everyone at his office our fantastic to work with! They are helpful, prompt, and just all around nice people to work with.
I have been insured through Ben for years now, and have been happy with the service, the rates, and the honest advise that he provides in putting together my policies.

It is always difficult to read between the lines with insurance agents and find out if they are trying to sell you what they think is best, or what they will make the most money on. You can tell that Ben absolutely puts his clients interests first, and is dedicated to being great at providing good insurance policies. You can expect he will be your insurance agent for life! Most people remember their insurance company’s name… I think the difference with Ben’s office is that you will remember your agent’s name.

Ben is a great leader and very proficient in his field! I’ve had the great pleasure to sit with Ben on several committees over the last few years and his expertise is top notch.
If you ever get the chance to sit down with him he will make sure that you have the proper coverage for the situation you are in.

I’ve been with Ben since before I bought my house, and started with just a car insurance policy over 5 years ago. Not only is he very cool and down to earth, but gives so much personal care, honestly, integrity and customer service. He is the complete opposite of what you expect an insurance guy to be! Being a Financial Planner I can be a very demanding client. Ben has thoroughly impressed me with his knowledge and follow through. He took the time to assess all my insurance needs from homeowners to umbrella to auto and made carefully thought out recommendations to fit our needs. I was pleased that he was not out to overinsure us, but to give us protection that we needed at a reasonable price.
