Safe Drivers Do not happen by Accident! We here at Bill’s Defensive Driving School are more concerned with creating safe drivers rather than just passing a test. We cater the lesson to whatever the students needs are and encourage whomever the student will be practicing with outside the lessons to also come along on the lesson to help reinforce the instruction that is given. As with learning how to do anything its all about practice and repetition. Besides just the basic driving skills we will also focus on Defensive Driving techniques to better prepare you to anticipate anything that may happen on the road. Our lessons take place in our newer mid sized sedans that are dual controlled, so that the instructor can take full control if need be. We pick up and drop off from home as long as you are in our service area. We provide lessons to teens, anxious adults, Seniors, Au Pairs, or anyone that is looking to improve their driving skills.
History
Established in 2007.
Bill’s professional expertise behind the wheel literally started rolling years ago as he logged hundreds of thousands of miles driving large commercial trucks and class a vehicles for various companies. In later years, while still working full time, Bill pursued and completed a degree in Sociology. He also did part time counseling. While working on his Masters Degree in Social work, a friend invited him to become a driving instructor part time at an established driving school. Suddenly a new road opened up for Bill. He genuinely enjoyed being an instructor, interacting with his students helping them overcome fears while learning how to become safe alert and responsible drivers. He went on to teach at another driving school operated by a retired California Highway Patrol officer where he gained new perspectives on driving education while developing his own skills. In August of 2007, Bill opened his own school becoming principal owner/operator instructor of Bill’s Defensive Driving
