This is the worst BK place I have ever been to. I am seriously considering staying clear of this establishment after my last few incidents. Drive Thru experience. a few weeks ago I decided to go through their drive thru. After waiting at the order entrance area for a few minutes someone actually decided to help me. I clearly told the human what I wanted including exact meal size and drink. At least they got the drink part right… everything else was wrong. Wrong size on the drink, and fries. Small order was given instead of a large. But the thing is these humans charged me more for the larger size! I only realized their mistake after I drove off and checked my receipt. So I decided to at least taste their crap food… and the meal was completely cold. This was only a few minutes after I had left BK, so it should not have been that cold. And when I talk about cold food I am talking about fries that you get directly from the freezer cold. Burger tasted horrible like the meat was left out on the counter for a day or two. Basically I ended up paying $ 9 for cold and stale crap. Last week, I decided to give this location another try since I live in the vicinity. This time I went to actually order my meal in person around 8 pm on a friday. Nobody was at the front to take my order even after waiting for 5 min. After not wanting to wait on these turds I just left wand went to the more upscale jack in the box where people actually take your order in person. The BK employees have hit a new rock bottom. If you cannot train workers(undocumented or not) to at least be stationed at the front or make a decent meal then close your restaurant. Stop torturing patrons with your horrible uncooked products and lousy customer service.

It’s sad that a fast food establishment has become a haven for my lunches, but when the building is merely feet from where I work, and their menu is extremely cheap(even more so with coupons) I simply can’t help but visit more often than I should. On that note, I do like Burger King in general. Sure, you can’t hold them too much higher standards than other fast food places, but the flavor of the burgers are usually better, in my opinion. A week or so ago I tried their hA1loween burger. The burger comes in a cute mummy wrapper; however the burger itself was skating on a line between bad and average. The bun is black, which I can see how that may fall into the Halloween spirit; it’s also very off putting at the same time. A1 sauce is baked directly into the bun, but the taste is very subtle. Their regular burgers are much better than this. Not to mention the after effects of said bun. I will save you the details. The establishment has very mixed customer service. Sometimes they’re extremely helpful, friendly, and other times they seem completely confused, very slow, and on a few instances even rude. I will continue to eat here because on a list of fast food places(I know I should have no such list) Burger King does rank highest.

Yep, even fast food gets graded and judged! I love me some Burger King, and I haven’t lived conveniently near one in years, so it’s become even more of a treat! Funny thing is, I don’t know if my tastes have changed or if this location is lackluster. But my fondness has dwindled a tad. I have always been a sucker for their BK Big Fish sandwich and their Original Chicken Sandwich, and since I hadn’t been to BK in years, I thought I would get both and enjoy half of each. I can afford it. ;) I hit the drive-thru, and it took longer than it should have for someone to acknowledge I was waiting to order, but I can live with that. I ordered the BK Big Fish combo meal, and asked for a single chicken sandwich. After a very long pause of dead silence, the girl on the mic came back on, talking through giggles, and said OK I’ll just make that a 2 for 5. First of all, WTF is so funny? And second, don’t assume every customer is a regular — I have no idea what the 2 for 5 is. Hearing my confusion, she explained in a very roundabout way that it was cheaper for me to get their 2 sandwiches for $ 5 deal and add on the fries and drink. Ok cool, thanks for saving me money — why did I still feel weird and awkward about it thanks to Miss Giggs? As I pulled up to the window, the giggling was insane from the worker and her cohorts. While I overheard nothing offensive, their conversation in general was very gossipy and I was not spoken to all when handed my charge card, drink or food, because the giggles couldn’t cease. Blah. Whatever. Just give me my sandwich and get me away from these ladies! Back home, the fish sandwich was everything I remembered — juicy fried goodness! Perhaps a bit too much tartar sauce, but no biggie. The fries were odd — they seemed huge and had a weird dryness to them, but they were hot and fresh and got better with every bite. The King’s voodoo is strong with these fries. Unfortunately, my beloved chicken sandwich was an abomination — a creepy barely warm patty of weird chicken-like stuff, DROWNING in mayo, and more bread than anything else. Two bites in, and it went in the trash. So perhaps BK isn’t as glorious as I remembered, or maybe these employees are too busy socializing to put a little more finesse into their product. Either way, it was OK but it sure could have been better. No hurry to go back — I’m officially cheating on the BK Big Fish with the McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish, perhaps for the long haul.

Great place. It’s a BK! I have not yet gone inside the restaurant, I have only been in the drive-thru(which is open 24 hours), but every time I have been satisfied. Fries were hot and crispy, burgers and food also perfect temperature. Nice staff and easily accessible drive-thru/parking lot. I did get the value chicken nuggets and they were bleh, but it is Burger King! Go to KFC for chicken. Burgers and sandwiches were great. Definitely my go to place for cheap late night meals.

It’s fine. The food is fine. The manager is a real oddball though. He takes his job a little too seriously. He stands between the order counter and the food prep area. You’ll hear him yelling«Teamwork!» «Let’s work together!» He’s just too enthusiastic. Maybe I should be happy that BK has an enthusiastic manager… but this is Burger King, not Christian summer camp.

Free wifi, a Coke Freestyle machine and waaaay better service than the location on North Main. This is my new favorite BK. The managers of this location need to give their employees a pat on the back, because the service is efficient, polite and most of all, accurate.

ERMAHGERD!!! Holy delicious Veggie Burger. Where did you come from?! First, I am not a vegetarian. Second, I think vegetarian should be spelled: veggietarian :) Third, I honestly believe this is better than their normal burgers and it is absolutely the best fast food veggie burger I’ve ever had It’s not on the menu so ask for it and be prepared to spend $ 3.35. A good deal, I’d say! **2/6/13 update: it is on the menu, in the salads section** Burger King is so on-point with their menu updates. It’s wonderful to see healthier options like the GREAT salads and the veggie burger.(Order without mayo for a huge health boost) Also smart: all the new sauces. Kung Pao and Jalapeño BBQ. Why didn’t someone think of this before?!

All Whoppers taste the same to me. There really isn’t much to write about it. What I am writing about today is the service at this particular BK location. I was really impressed by their customer service. When I got there today, a Dean Martin look-alike was complaining about the toilet paper holder being too low for his reach in the men’s bathroom. For the next five minutes, the girl behind the counter patiently listened to the man’s complaint and tried to resolve it diplomatically. When that failed, the manager took over and displayed the same patience towards the DM look-alike. The man walked away thinking that a new toilet paper holder will be installed immediately. When it was my turn to order, the girl and the manager both greeted my with a smile and asked how I was doing. Fast food is fast food, but good customer service makes the experience better. Kudos to the both of them!

Received a coupon booklet in the mail and decided to stop by my local Burger King to use one. I ordered a «Carolina Whopper» and a «standard Whopper», I told Juan(My order taker) that I had a coupon for a free Whopper. Juan asked if I’d like 2 Whoppers and a Carolina Whopper and I told him«No just the Carolina and Standard. Juan told me that I could not use the coupon for anything other than 2 standard Whoppers!!! I explained that I was purchasing a more expensive sandwich to get the standard one for free. Juan told me I could not use the coupon unless I ordered only 2 standard Whoppers! I have been eating at Burger king Restaurants for more than 35 years and have never encountered a more negative and frustrating employee as Juan. Juan could care less when I finally told him«forget it, I won’t have anything then»!! To Juan«Have it your way» means who cares what you want, C-Ya! Obviously Juan does not comprehend the offer of a free sandwich with the purchase of another of equal(or greater) value! I worked at a Burger King restaurant 25 years ago in High School and I understood what a coupon was… I can’t say that I have ever seen such a hard line taken with regard to a fast food coupon! When I tried to call the Manager on the restaurant phone(925) 937‑5129 it just rang and rang! I went inside to get a complaint form, the manager was standing right there when I asked where the manager was, he just looked at me like I was from outer space! Never said a word… In fact, all the employees looked lost and confused no one had any concern that there was a dissatisfied customer at the counter! I filled out the Official Burger King online complaint form, who knows if they care or not??? In the end all I can do is make my experience public and choose other restaurants in the future!

I will admit. I’m not really one for fast food, but when I’m really hungry, I love having a Whopper Jr with no onions or mayo. And when I have a hankering for an icee, I love that you can be lazy and go through the drive through to get one :) This location is a little hidden on Broadway, but it’s good to know that it’s here in case I start getting hangry and need a quick fix.

Burger King is one of the very few drive-thru’s in Walnut Creek = convenient when you have a napping child in the car. This one is always open, and it’s clean enough for a fast food restaurant. The menu has a wide enough variety for the family. I usually feel really sick after eating fast food, but then it goes right through me and I feel thin again. I guess that it’s an okay balance.

Diarrhea here I come! I have suffered from the«chocolate eruption» each time I’ve eaten at this Burger King. Not sure if the staff is trying to poison or what, but I’ve only been to this location 3 – 4 times and I have run straight to the bathroom each time!

Horrible!!! Fast food joints make their name on french fries. This BK serves them cold and stale. What a joke. Eat there if your only other choice is the crud on the bottom of your shoe.

I sometimes wonder about the general state of development in Walnut Creek and whether fast food places(like the nearby McDonald’s) will survive. I’m particularly«concerned» about the availability of cheap eats in an upscale town and whether the City might be putting themselves in a nanny role of what’s good for folks. Unless of course, you’re a more upscale burger place like The Counter or The Habit. The Burger King is still proudly what it is and still at a fraction of the cost of the above mentioned joynts. And since it’s located just outside of Downtown(yet close to the Library), this place should survive. I’m particularly fond of the breakfast croissants(with tater tots) and an occasional Whopper. And of course, Hold the Pickles, Hold the Lettuce, Specials Orders Don’t Upset Us!

This is the worst bk ever especially when the owner is there. We’ve tried using coupons there without the owner there but when the owner is there they wouldn’t accept it. And they are so stingy with ketchup and napkins. I hate this bk and go somewhere else where they know what it means to run a business.

I hate to admit it, but I seem to eat at fast food restaurants a lot and Burger King I have always been so-so about. But, I went through the drive-thru and I was very pleased with the person that was helping me. Usually people that work at fast food restaurants seem to hate their jobs but the guy working there made sure I had everything I needed and had no problem giving me extra of condiments, a lot of places it seems like they are not supposed to give you more than 1 or 2 packets of anything now a days. Overall, even though the food was decent, just a simple good employee that cares about the customer can make a huge difference.

Let’s be honest, it’s a Burger King, so what do you REALLY expect — Cheap, Fast Food! With that in mind, I’ve rated this in comparison to other fast food/Burger King locations that I’ve been to — not to other restaraunts generally. So, a one-star rating should tell you, this place is BAD! First, they have one set of prices on the menu and a second set in the cash register. They charge you the price in the register unless you say something, at which point they press the«ask me discount» button on the register(this text ends up on your receipt as well), which then applies the appropriate pricing to match the menu. My little brother and I went in, both ordered the same tripple-stacker sandwich and small drink. I was charged $ 5.09 for the sandwich and $ 1.29 for the drink. My brother went up to order his, he watched the order screen prices as they came up(which I hadn’t done) and noticed the prices. He then pointed out to the cashier that the menu said $ 4.09 for the sandwich and $ 0.99 for the value menu(small) drink. The cashier then presses the aforementioned«ask me discount button» and the prices are corrected. They wouldn’t retroactively adjust mine since I’d already paid. No problem, paid with my AmEx so I’ll just dispute the charge. We also found that they charge $ 0.25 per sauce pack(BBQ, Ranch, etc.) unless you order chicken nuggets, in which case they give you one pack per order for free and charge you for any others that you want. So, we went for cheap, fast food and I ended up spending about $ 10, which is about what I would have spent if we went to a deli or something downtown and gotten REAL food.
