Shahrooz installed a 65″ flat screen TV on our wall with no hassle whatsoever. He is a gentleman who knows exactly what he’s doing and I’d recommend him to anyone. There are lot of people who offer cheaper prices but I’d be amazed if they did half as good a job as Shahrooz. The installation was seamless and if we ever need any more AV work done we now who we’ll call.

Shahrooz is one amazing human being.
I sent him a message this morning (a Saturday, mind you) asking for an estimate on what it would take to get my home wifi system working and he called me early this afternoon. My problem is that I’ve got Comcast, am using their rental «gateway» (wireless modem plus router) and it is a useless piece of junk. Can’t stream Netflix unless it’s to the computer it’s hard-​wired to. Can’t get reliable internet access from 50 feet away. This is Comcast’s Arris model TG862G/​CT, by the way.
So Shahrooz very carefully explained that this is a common problem, and that I needed a separate modem and router, and he talked about the specific brands and models he recommends (router: ASUS RT-​AC87U, modem: ARRIS TM822G (apparently ARRIS makes perfectly good modems, it’s just that these combo modem/​routers don’t work well)). He also told me that, though these two new bits of hardware may fix the problem, some homes have issues getting a good signal from one room to the next, and it’s possible that I might need to get something called Enterprise-​grade hard-​wiring to resolve my problem, but that the most reasonable course of action was to just try the new modem and router first.
Fairly early in our conversation, he realized that I’m located outside his service area (I was hoping to tempt him down with brownies or something, but he said their liability coverage only extended to specific zip-​codes). At this point, I expected that he would politely wish me luck and get off the phone. But no. This guy proceeds to spend at least 10 minutes explaining very specifically what I needed to do to install the modem and router myself. He was never condescending, he was exceptionally patient and clear.
I wrote down his advice, and then sent him a message thanking him for his time. He sends me back an entire PAGE of step-​by-​step instructions on how to connect up the modem and router, what to tell comcast when I call them to activate my new modem, not to take «no» for an answer, AND, after all this, he encouraged me to contact him again if I had any problems! I mean, maybe if my best friend was half this tech-​savvy she might spend this much time with me, but this guy doesn’t know me at all, and isn’t going to earn one cent from me for all that he’s done.
This guy renews my faith in mankind. I have half a mind to MOVE to his service area just so I could take advantage of his skills down the road!

Shahrooz is outstanding. He made great recommendations based on our preferences and house layout and installed our entertainment system in a timely way. More impressively, in the rare instance that we have had a concern, Shahrooz has been available to talk us through the fix. As an example, our power went off and we needed to reset the remote (my wife and I are technically challenged); Shahrooz was available at night to help. I have worked with outstanding service providers, and Shahrooz is at the top of that list.

I Had a major home theater problem that was caused by another business installer. Shahrooz not only figured it out but made it easier for my wife and I to use the functions on our system. He is hands down the BEST. I tried many companies around the area and no one could take care of the problem until he showed up. He also put our lights on automatic timers so we can conserve energy, and make it easier to turn them on and off using our iPhones. This guy can do it all.
If your thinking of doing a job save your time, and give him a call.

I, like many of you found Digital Solutionz originally on Unilocal and since then have worked with Shahrooz on a number of different projects over the last 18 months. Thus, this is a long overdue review and Kudo’s with a perspective of at least a half dozen jobs. The quality and professionalism of his work is as good as it gets with an added bonus he’s a Geek and Audiophile and has excellent knowledge of the current landscape of top quality components and their role in the «wired home». Yep, Unilocal 5 stars.

Working with Digital Solutionz was a great experience from start to finish. I just completed a full remodel and needed some AV solutions for the TV family room. Working with Shahrooz, he guided us through each step and helped us decide what we wanted for this room. He was extremely knowledgeable and willing with work with in our budget. When it came to the installation day, he was on time and made everything fit, and sound perfectly, not to mention how clean he was through the entire process. After installing it all, he took the time to walk me through all of the new components, to show how it all worked. I would strongly recommend Digital Solutionz, they are amazing.

Digital Solutionz, Shahrooz, really did amazing work on our home. He completely rewired our previous CAT5 home with «wall controls» and converted all speakers to a 7 zone iphone/​Sonos system. Overall our project was quite large with industrial Wifi and 5 access points and 6 televisions and a central control cabinet, Tivos, apple TVs, etc… so the project took 3 months due to some of our construction issues. Shahrooz did a great job of working with (and often managing) various painters and electrical contractors to get the job done efficiently and more importantly correctly. Shahrooz didn’t ever cut corners and really paid attention to the details which translated to a very sleek and «clean» system install that looks and sounds amazing and is very user friendly. I am sure there are folks cheaper than Shahrooz but he really was a value for what you get if you are interested in quality and custom install with little hassle factor.

Late to post this review but wanted to credit Shahrooz with doing a great job installing, wiring, and troubleshooting my new home’s media and network set-​up. He was fast, efficient, and effective in getting media system set up in two zones; he did a great job of installing ceiling speakers professionally.
On the network set-​up, he installed a switch and had to troubleshoot around some faulty wiring in order to get all areas of the home network up and running.
Overall, I highly recommend Shahrooz on both the planning and installation fronts. Great guy!

I am writing to highly recommend Shahrooz. His work was efficient, neat, and high-​quality, and we are so pleased with the end result.
When I first contacted Shahrooz he was very prompt in returning my call and scheduling a consultation. The estimate was also provided in a timely manner. We had to postpone the work as a couple of unexpected house projects popped up, but Shahrooz was proactive about getting back in touch to see if he could help us complete the media side of the project.
In addition to completing the installation, he also took the time to walk us through what he had done, how to navigate the new systems, and also give us some suggestions about home network improvements and future projects. I really appreciate that he was generous with his time and knowledge, as I don’t have any familiarity with media components. We will definitely work with him in the future for any other home theatre projects.
Don’t waste your time with other companies who claim to be able to do what Shahrooz offers. Just call Shahrooz, and rest assured that he will handle it correctly the first time!

My father had a home theater system that was installed 13 years ago by a company that was the opposite of Digital Solutionz. In other words, they were unprofessional, minimally competent, and never could get things working perfectly.
This week my father hired Shahrooz, largely based on his Unilocal reviews, and here I am writing another 5-​star Unilocal review for his company.
Shahrooz did an incredible job for my father. Not only did he recommend, install, and configure a new Marantz receiver, Parasound amplifier, Sonos Connect, AppleTV, customized Universal Remote, network switch, Sony UHD TV, and IR-​RF repeater, but he got everything working so perfectly and so easily that for the first time in over a decade, my father can actually use all of the hardware he purchased.

I looked all over the places even online to buy a good quality and affordable price for a Sound System till I looked up online and found Digital Solutionz.
First I called to get some consultation and advice and figure things out about the sound system but I ended up purchasing the whole system, shipped and installed by Shahrooz!

Shahrooz from Digital Solutionz is the absolute best. I have been using his services for a more than a year and a half. I am an interior designer and am often in need of an audio video specialist. Not only have I used him in my own home, but have recommended him for jobs at several of my clients’ homes with excellent results. He is professional, personable and practical. He keeps up with new products and does not recommend solutions that are unnecessary. He is a great advisor in a field that is a mystery to most people!

What can I say — it was a pleasure working with Shahrooz. He and his team were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and meticulous. My partner and I recently moved and needed to have the TV mounted on the wall. Seems like something we should be able to do ourselves, but there was the cable box to fit in somehow and we didn’t want to see any wires. And, we didn’t want it to fall down a day later. So we turned to Unilocal and found the highly rated Digital Solutionz. We’re happy to say Shahrooz lives up to all those stars.
His casual but professional demeanor put us at ease. He listened to what we wanted and he offered (without being pushy) ideas to make the whole setup better. For example, he suggested we consider adding a sound bar, since our flat-​screen TV doesn’t have great built-​in speakers. I initially saw this as a red flag — he’s trying to upsell us on additional equipment. And he would have sold us one, but he also said we were welcome to get one on our own and he’d install it. He even suggested a model to look for when we told him we wanted it to be silver, rather than the standard black.
Syncing our schedules was a bit of a challenge and it’s easy to get impatient when your TV has been sitting on the floor for weeks. But when someone is good at what he does, he’s going to be in demand. Just keep trying and he will get back to you. And it will be worth it.
He arrived on time for the appointment, took care to protect floors and furniture, and meticulously made sure everything about the installation was centered and level. He cleaned up the debris and then took the time to show me how everything works in a friendly, helpful way. We highly recommend Shahrooz.

Shahrooz wired my entire office in San Francisco for my business which included TV’s, Projection equipment, Stereos, computer network, printers, etc. He helped pick out all equipment and set up the office perfect.
Shahrooz also handled all of our technology when we built our house. He wired the entire house, including 7 TV’s and DVR’s, a 110″ projection TV, 55 built-​in speakers inside and out, Intercom system, security system, computer network, a sound system that can be accessed throughout the house, etc.
Shahrooz helped us with every aspect for all of our technology at my office as well as at my house, including; all our wiring, planning, choosing equipment and he continues to work with us when ever we need anything that relates to technology.
