Specialties

DNA Renovations is primarily a residential contractor that prides itself in quality, not quantity. Passion and quality in construction have been passed down for 5 generations. We believe that craftsmanship in quality materials and attention to detail are the core elements to a lasting renovation or addition to your biggest asset, your home.

Our approach to construction is that if we wouldn’t put it in our own home, we won’t put it in yours. We are licensed and insured and if any sub-contractors are used on any of our jobs, they will be the same.

For over a 100 years, our family has specialized in providing quality construction though craftsmanship from the smallest job to a complete new structure.

History

Established in 1986.

Having been exposed to all phases of construction at an early age, an aptitude was developed that is the core of our ideals. For over 100 years and 5 generations, our lineage is traced through construction and developing beautiful pieces in wood and stone.

My great, great grandfather migrated form Denmark and developed a business as a mason and builder at the turn of the century in Farmingdale Long Island. During the winter months, he would apply his craft as a mason for tomb stones and ornate carvings in granite and stone. He then passed on his craft which then became stone and wood carvings and ornate architectural construction.

That same passion has been passed with every generation to present and we are in the business of construction be cause we love what we do and there isn’t anything else we rather do. Going to work everyday when you truly love what you do is hardly work, it’s play!

Meet the Business Owner

Chris T.

Business Owner

With no children, Chris will most likely be the last generation in the family legacy unless his nephews and great nephews express an interest in the field, or nieces.

The crew leaders also have history that they can trace back for generations and hopefully, one of them will express an interest and carry on the tradition.
