Description

Specialties

We welcome families, and groups up to 8 with reservation.

We specialize in authentic cuisine plus fun originals such as yellow pumpkin curry, basil lamb, and ruby lamb on a limited time basis.

History

Established in 2006.

I started the Erawan in Walnut Creek June 2006. I completely redecorated to give an intimate, relaxing atmosphere for singles, couples, groups, and families to experience delicious, healthy Thai cuisine with personal service and food/drink suggestions from friendly servers.

I also established an Erawan in Martinez in 2008 on Ferry St. near Amtrak.

(We are not related to Erawan Thai Restaurants in other counties.)

Meet the Business Owner

Sri T.

Business Owner

I came to the US in 2001 from Roi Et in northeast Thailand with my two sons and married a wonder American. After studying English and working in a department store, I was finally able to achieve my career goal and passion — owning a Thai restaurant that serves traditional dishes from regions in Thailand and creating delicious specials such as pumpkin curry salmon.

I choose the restaurant name of Erawan Thai Restaurant — «erawan» is the three-headed mythical elephant of Thai folk tales and cultural literature.
