Forget Me Not Flowers

Received a surprise bouquet from my honey at work, what a great surprise!
Until… I noticed All of the fill was dying! A flower came off once I placed it on my desk. I called to complain as I find it unacceptable to send out flowers for delivery that are already dying. I was told that no new delivery could happen because they didn’t have a driver for the rest of the day. The lady I spoke with said she would send new fill tomorrow and I could arrange it around the satisfactory roses… Are you kidding me?! After she stated that she had arranged them, I told her that she should have never sent out flowers that were dying as it really does take away from the surprise. A business simply taking advantage of someone ordering online, they should be ashamed.

I received a bouquet for Mothers Day on Saturday. My husband showed me the picture on the FTD website. What was delivered was a pathetic reproduction. I will notify FTD of my disappointment

Please don’t make the same mistake I did, find another florist. I ordered roses for my mother’s 68^th birthday 3 days in advance, so the flowers would arrive first thing in the morning. The flowers arrive at 4:30pm. My dad text me a photo of the flowers and they were nothing like what I ordered online. The flowers were wilted and dying, and there was only 4 rose roses stuffed in a plastic, not the glass purple vase that was shown online. I called to have the correct roses/​arrangement that I paid $ 85 for redelivered. The woman owner of the florist called my 68 year old mother, and asked her what was her problem. She was so rude it brought my mom to tears on her birthday. Please avoid this florist. I have no idea how they are still in business. They made my mother cry on her birthday!

Saturday 7:50am, running around a new neighborhood that I just moved to. I see this florist shop has their door wide open. I figured, «oh, I wonder how much corsages for my wedding cost? Let me inquire.» I walk right in happy and greeting the lady «Good morning, (must be my happy endorphins on a beautiful Saturday jog) I just wanted to inquire about corsage cost…» Lady: «It depends, gave me two prices and then states look I’m not open. Look at the sign I don’t open till 10:00am!» Me: «Oh I’m so sorry, door was wide open so I just thought I’d ask real quick. Sorry about that.» Lady: «Yah, can you come back later? Not open till 10!» I leave feeling like wow, close your door lady and really… You just lost a future customer. No wonder your Unilocal status sucks. I see that this is a family owned business but maybe work on your customer service skills. I’ll be taking my money somewhere else. Thanks for pointing out the time you open, and no I’m not coming back.
P.S Thanks for giving me a reason to run another mile!

I received flowers for Mother’s Day on Saturday. The first bouquet was wilted, the replacement bouquet that arrived yesterday afternoon had unopened lilies that have now turned a sickly mottled yellow. And this is only Mother’s day afternoon.

Not a good florist.
The first order sent had brown old lilies in it, wilted daises, and roses with curled pedals. It looked like an arrangement that was 4 days old. I ordered through Teleflora and got them to send a new order. In the new order the only flowers that are even open are 2 sprigs of small sparce carnations, and 2 sprigs of white side flowers ½ open. There are two purple flowers shoved into the bottom of the arrangement, probably because the stems were cut too short. Everything else is green leaves. It is ugly, and not the quality of flowers I paid for. No roses, no daisies, nothing pretty at all. Very disappointed, and certainly not worth the money I paid.

My fiancé sent me a no calorie flower cupcake recently. So cute!!! I definitely love it. The flowers look fresh eventhough I wasn’t even in the office on the day it was delivered. The next morning, I came in and the receptionist told me that the flower cupcake was for me. It came in a little clear plastic box and the flowers are inside. I have no idea how much this costs him, but I am really happy with my little flower cupcake. :)

Shocked by the other reviews, are they going to the same place? This flower shop is the best thing that happened to mankind, well mankind in need of flowers that is. The prices are reasonable, the service is amazing and they deliver. I have gone here for many reasons when needing a bouquet and have never left not feeling like I was very well taken care of. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I will be back again and again.

After receiving my second bouquet of roses in one week I was so proud of my boyfriend for getting with the program (so to speak), that I didn’t want to mention after I received the first that he should find another florist. There is one I prefer locally but felt it too rude to give him their number considering he is not a fan of ordering flowers in general and I am literally the first woman to receive them from him.
Often I would bring home flowers for myself from Safeway or Costco and mention how inexpensive they are and that they last at least 10 – 12 days! The first bouquet from Forget me not lasted 4 days and this second bouquet barely made it 3 days. The first one I figured maybe it was a fluke but the second one tells me it’s not. Having read the reviews regarding poor customer service is the icing on the cake!

Okay, so I will update my review since I received a call from the business owner.
So first of all, it is one thing to call to inquire about my experience, but there are professional ways to do so. Starting off by yelling at me about my review is not the way to get me to change my review or take it down. You could’ve started with «I am sorry you were not happy with your experience, can we talk about the misunderstanding?» Would’ve worked. Instead she offered me free flowers to take my review down. First of all, I do not want free flowers, that was not the purpose of my review, I am not a person who is looking for free things because I know nothing is «free». She continued to push free flowers to take my post down and that is insulting.
Because there was a misunderstanding with FTD I give them another 2 star, however the inappropriate phone call is why I give 3 stars. Like I said there are professional ways to deal with issues like this.
If you have a negative experience and choose to share it on Unilocal,just beware you might get a not so friendly call. Just sharing my experience.

If I could give out a no star rating, I would. I ordered an 18 inch tall basket floral bouquet for a FUNERAL mind you. $ 65 plus 18.99 delivery, plus tax $ 90 out the door. I had called the mortuary this morning to check on my order and was told it had been delivered. I then asked if the quality of the order was acceptable and could not get a straight answer. I asked if a picture could be sent to me and I sent my contact info. The pic I received showed very poor quality. The flowers were there but it looked like it was thrown together and did not even come close to the picture! I called the florist and started to explain my displeasure and She (Amy) started arguing and proceeded to yell and interrupt when i tried to speak! I demanded to speak with her boss and she said «I AM THE BOSS!» I then pointed out that the website mentions great customer service and this is her idea of that??? I told her that her customer service sucked! She placed me on hold for a moment, came back on the line and apologized, that the situation was upsetting enough and she realized I was upset, etc.
So the yelling stopped but she remained very defensive, blaming the person who took the pic because they took a pic from the top and the FTD pic was taken from the bottom. Some of the flowers hadn’t bloomed yet, etc. Then i told her i was unhappy with the quality and i wanted a refund. After more discussion, she gave me FTD’s number and told me to take it up with them. So i did. I spoke with a rep who asked me to hold for a moment so she could call the florist. She comes back on the line and I reiterate that i want a refund. She needed me to email this manager and gave me the info. She also mentioned that the florist would want to pick up the product from the mortuary. I told her NO, I won’t have her insult a grieving family by asking for the flowers back! I hung up, called the mortuary and told a lady that if the florist tries to retrieve the flowers to say no. I then wrote the FTD manager and attached both pics along with the issues i encountered. He called and emailed me back, apologizing profusely about how i was treated and he stated that the quality of the arrangement did not meet FTD’s standards. He also processed a full refund.
I have gone through local florists, mainly for funerals unfortunately, and this is the first time i have ever encountered this type of thing. When you are being charged for a service, it isn’t too much to ask that you get what you pay for. And what really upset me was how my complaint was handled. Very poorly, for sure. If someone questions the quality of a product, do not make yelling and arguing your first reaction. This florist just lost a good customer.

I received an $ 85 bouquet from parents for a new baby. It had a pull toy, 4 white roses, 3 stems of mini roses, and some other fillers. Seriously!!! That sounds more like $ 35. The rude lady wouldn’t even give my mother the time if day for her complaint. VERY disappointed.

I ordered an arrangement from them to surprise my husband at work for his birthday and they called him the night before and ruined the surprise. That was the least of the problems, they didn’t arrive on time to deliver it to him and missed giving him the“surprise” and hung up on me when I questioned where the package was. Once he got the arrangement it was the wrong one. It wasn’t what I ordered. They refused me a refund and ruined the afternoon. They are rude, unprofessional, and I will never use them again nor should anyone else.

Forget this place and DO NOT ever use them!

So my mother’s birthday is today and this place calls here this morning verifying my mom’s address cause apparently an attempted delivery was made this am — to the wrong street address. I give them the correct street name and the unit number and repeat this to the woman on the other line, she verify’s and that’s that. 5:45 pm later in the day, she calls me back letting me know, the flowers were delivered to the wrong unit and if I could walk over and go get it! I tell her absolutely not, who’s fault is this? She tells me her driver, so I tell her, but it’s my responsibility to get flowers that were meant for my mother — on her birthday — but were delivered to the wrong address and there’s absolutely nothing else you can do to fix this and contact the driver! She informs me, they will re-​deliver tomm and if that’s ok! I reply — NO IT’S NOT and tell her to fix this problem that has nothing to do with me, my mother and my niece who was the person sending the flowers! She hangs up on me!
Now if it wasn’t for the neighbor who was kind enough to walk over from her unit — across the street (that’s how big and how many units this complex has), we would’ve never received these flowers!
And by the way, the $ 65 — yes $ 65 my niece spent with this two bit company and the not even that close of an amount I paid to buy the loose flowers and accents that I put together from my local supermarket and the flowers my brother had brought from his local farmers market — this arrangement literally looks as if this woman stole these schrubs from someone’s backyard — this crappy arrangement is not even anywhere as nice. it doesn’t even look professional, it looks as if my 7 year old niece put this together! Bottom line — DON’T EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE! THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Over priced bouquets for what you actually receive. Bouquets looked as if they were thrown together and not well arranged.

A year or two ago my coworker recvd a really beautiful bouquet from Forget Me Not. I went online yesterday and picked out a really beautiful orchid design called «Zen Artistry». I called in my order directly, as I wanted to ensure the florist knew exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, the arrangement pictured online and the one that ended up being delivered to my girlfriend were two completely different products. Yes, the flowers used were similar. but the design was nothing close to what was pictured. (The whole reason I ordered it in the first place.) Worst part was I was charged a $ 13.99 delivery fee on top of the $ 45 flower fee, when my gf’s work is LITERALLY one block from the flower shop. Next time I guess I will forego the element of surprise and deliver them myself.
I called this morning to voice my complaints, and all the «manager» was willing to offer was a $ 5(!) credit. When I nearly choked at the concession, she begrudingly bumped it up to $ 10, insisting she could go no higher That’s fine, she will just lose out on all my future business and earn five minutes of my time via this review.
Very sad to have lost hope in one of our only local florists in Walnut Creek.

Went in today to get delivery for tomorrow. Understandably they were busy for Valentines weekend, but they were way more focused on the phone than on the people in the store. I left feeling unsure about my purchase. Took me a while to get through the process.

I went in here to pick up some flowers for my mother’s birthday.
The place was under some kind of construction and when I stood in front of the shop I was ignored until I picked my way around the ladder and waved a hand towards them. I was then asked «what?» and I asked «are you open?» only to get a sharp, «Yea».
I looked around and they seemed to have no flowers to speak of. The fridge was almost empty and the flowers they did have looked ragged and old.
I left and bought nicer flowers at Safeway.
