I carefully listen and analyze each patient’s concerns. Through my years of dental practice and training I combine the art and science of dentistry to provide personal and comprehensive treatment for the best dental care. From routine dental treatment to family dental care, TMJ treatment to correct a patient’s occlusion or bite, to cosmetic dentistry including teeth whitening, dental veneers, metal free dentistry, all-​natural ceramic crowns, and dental implants. I also offer sleep apnea treatment to patients in the Walnut Creek area.

I don’t just simply «fix» teeth, but enhance my patient’s well-​being. I have seen wonderful changes in a patient’s overall attitude through their treatment from being self-​conscious about their smile to wanting to smile all the time.

Dr. Skiba opened his dental practice in Walnut Creek in 1984 providing a full range of dental treatment with an emphasis on cosmetic, implants and tmd dentistry. Graduate of Marquette University and receiving post-​graduate training at UCLA, UCSF, and UOP.

Dr. Skiba graduated in 1975 from Marquette University with membership in the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He has trained at some of the best dental programs in California. He received post-​graduate training in TMJ, myofacial pain management from UCLA School of Dentistry and UCSF School of Dentistry, Implant dentistry at UCSF School of Dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry at the University of The Pacific School of Dentistry.

Dr. Skiba continues to maintain the highest level of accreditation and pursues ongoing dental education on a variety of topics to stay abreast of the latest techniques and procedures in dentistry. Dr. Skiba is able to diagnose and treat all patients’ needs from general dental care to specialized treatment in cosmetic, implants and jaw dysfunction. His priority is to deliver high quality, comprehensive dental care in a personal, and comfortable, relaxed environment.

Dr. Skiba is an awesome dentist. He is friendly but he doesn’t make it seem fake. He also has an awesome last name, is ideally located, and has oral hygienists that do their job well. The fact that I can give this 5 stars is impressive in itself, as I have hated any office that involves my mouth since an evil orthodontist, spawned from Satan, stuck a moving drill on my exposed nerve of the tooth that HE cracked. Skiba has done wonders to actually get me to go to the dentist, something I avoided for like 5 years, and since my first visit, I have gone very six months.
The email reminders are a great help!

I relocated back to Walnut Creek a year ago and had been lazy in seeking out a new dentist. I cracked a crown last week, had heard good things about Dr. Skiba, called but he was out of town, so I found another dentist in his complex. Long & short– I was told I needed close to $ 4,000 in procedures to fix my broken crown. I was freaking sick. I went to Dr. Skiba when he came back and in 45 minutes he fixed my crown with a temp. until we do my permanent.
Turns out I didn’t need all of the procedures I was told I needed by the other dentist & the permanent crown is costing me $ 400.00 less than was quoted by the other dentist office.
Dr. Skiba is caring, kind and this office truly cares about your well being, not the cash factor. Oh, and Ellen who runs the office, what a lovely lady. I am thrilled that I found Dr. Skiba and Ellen, and will forever be a patient here. I am actually looking forward to going back and having my routine work done.

Dr. Skiba and staff are the best in the area to handle all of your dental needs. My mom, husband and I have been going to them for years and they are professional, courteous, skilled, and very responsive and accommodating of your schedule – especially in emergency dental situations.
