Absolutely terrible customer service, sat waiting for the doctor for 45 minutes, had to leave due to my work schedule. Call the next day, they have no clue who I am and Gretta hung up on me because she was busy. Do not go here! No repect for people’s time and obviously they don’t care who you are.

I am so happy that I chose to go to Dr. Lee. In my initial interview I was so impressed with her dental plan for me and my son that I took her advise on how to take care of the issues I was having. I was a little stunned by the amount of work I needed and the cost when I went in but that is usually the case when you get to a dentist with a toothache it is because you have waited too long to care for your teeth. Each tooth that her office worked on turned out beautiful and they also consulted me on how to take long term care of the treatment I received. I completely trust her team with my son as well, the treatment he received on his small teeth has remained in place and his teeth have not caused him any further discomfort. Dental work is very expensive and the higher qualified and more competent the dentist the more you will WANT to spend. Discount dental work is definitely NOT the way I would go. Dr. Lee and her team to first rate, quality work in a comfortable and lovely office.

I am hoping this review will help someone else who might be considering going here. As a first time patient, after my cleaning and xrays, I was given a recommendation by the dentist that seemed very extreme and very, very costly. When I asked questions they directed me to the assistant and I was then told to open a credit card to cover the cost. I went to get a second opinion and I was in and out of that dentist office for $ 50 with a very straightforward and cost effective solution. I later received a letter from this office saying they will not have me back. how interesting. One star for the woman at the front desk, she was really helpful and professional. I hope she finds a great office in the future.

Dr Lee and her team are very personable, yet professional. They make visits to the dentist, dare I say, enjoyable. Highly recommend.

This is a long over due review for The Dr Julia Lee and her team! My husband and I moved to the Walnut Creek area from Las Vegas and we were looking for a family dentist and a dental surgeon for myself. I was VERY hesitant as I had a horrible tooth implant experience in Las Vegas. I met with Dr Julia Lee and immediately felt comfortable. She was patient and also used there up to date technology to to show me the process of cavity fillings and at the time my bigger issue… a dental implant. Needless to say I went through the cavity fillings and the dental implant. She did not charge me a crazy amount for the implant (I did get a mini) and the outcome is better than I ever could have imagined! I also can not forget to mention Dr Lee’s husband (who is also a dentist) did an amazing job matching my implant with my teeth. I would definitely recommend Dr Julia Lee for you future implant!!! :-)

After their office reached out to me we were able to get the billing stuff sorted out. I did have to go back and forth between convo’s with each dentist’s office, but it worked out in the end. Still wish they could have told me what materials my insurance would have covered before going here.

Making a decision to get an orthodontic done as an Adult was not easy but I have to say Dr lee is amazing! My overall experience was exeptional! All
The staff are amazing and very accomodating. Dr lee was straight to the point and very knowledgable. Very gentle with her work. Also they make sure your comfortable and they’re very informative about the steps and plan about my ortho treatment. I’m very happy with the progression for my ortho. I highly recommend to anyone!!!

Very professional, friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. Super communication on upcoming appointments and procedures. Never have to wait. Exceptional staff. I just had an implant procedure and it was so smooth, unpainful, and quick. Exceptional dentist AND staff.

I’ve gone to several dentists in the East Bay over the last 15 years and by far Dr (s) Lee have been the best. Office staff is professional, the dentists and hygienist are thorough, knowledgable, and take the time to explain their plan of care. The office is clean, modern, and parking is easy. I just walked out from having my teeth cleaned and it was the best dental experience that I’ve had in years. I highly recommend this dentist office!

This was a waste of a 45 minute commute. I came in here for a cleaning and told them I did not want xrays. They told me it was a state requirement for new patients and that they wouldn’t see me until I got a full mouth Xray. This is not true; it’s suggested but not required! I use to work at a dental office. Needless to say, if it was, please tell me in advance before I drive all the way over there. Agree with the other 1 star reviews… their entire staff comes off as car salesmen.

The Lee’s are very competent in what they do. They make sure you’re comfortable at all times and the whole staff surely is professional!!! Highly recommend this place.

I have been looking for the best dentist in town but unfortunately I haven’t found a doctor I can trust. Dr Danny Lee was referred by one of my good friends and I’m glad I gave it a shot. The Lee’s are very professional and thorough with examinations and only recommends the necessary treatments. This place is definitely a 5star experience with excellent service!!! I highly recommend this dental office!!!

When I walked in I was very optimistic about my appointment. The office was clean, friendly & seemed well run… that’s where it ends.
I was there for a cleaning, but somehow my cleaning turned into several rounds of unnecessary x-​rays & a very brief exam lasting two hours. Only at the end was I told they wouldn’t be cleaning my teeth and I had to come back.
I was told a list of issues would be emailed to me and they’d follow up with insurance, etc. A week later, still no email. Eventually we realized they’d emailed someone else my private information, thus why I didn’t know next steps.
We finally discussed treatment and cost once I was in the office for my follow up. It seemed rather costly, but I was already there and with my limited availability, had to take the appointment. FOUR hours later (after being told two hours max), I was finally able to leave. Never mind I have a job and the apologies were limited for keeping me from my job.
Then came the insurance bills claiming I still owed more than the size able sum I’d already paid. It seems Dr. Lee’s practice charges more than the agreed prices… so why bother accepting insurance?
Then I proceeded to call the office to discuss the additional bills, but got no response for THREE weeks. I left messages each time, but somehow no one ever returned my call.
I finally spoke to a lady about my bill. I admit she tried to be as courteous as possible, which I appreciate. She said I’d have no other bills and she was very sorry for my experience. Ok, that was nice. Until I receive ANOTHER bill.
Apart from all of this, I didn’t even see Dr. Lee, but her male associate. He was very nice, but here’s a hint: I chose a female
doctor to support professional women — not their male associates. You might want to ask if I cared who I saw.

Used Car Sales Man describes Dr. Lee’s Practice. Just like all the other negative reviews on here my husband and I feel the same way, both patience of Dr. Lee for almost 3 years we are feed up. After being bullied over treatment and insisting on extra cleanings and fixing things that are not need to be fixed, WE ARE DONE. My husband was told at his cleaning that he would need 2 fillings, upon arriving at his follow up appointment to get those filled they proceeded to tell him he was due for 4 fillings. Tried to charge him and bullied him for not going along with it. There are countless other instances with her practice that need not waste any space but just know if you are a patient here she will try to get you on everything. From a $ 695 night guard (cash only) to extra deep cleanings just know that she wants your money.

Dr. Julia Lee, does great work… and gave me a great payment plan. She has a modern office, and pleasant staff members… all n all the experience is excellent from the start…

Well its been a few months since getting the periodontal trays. I have been using them religiously and the results are very impressive. My gums are so much better and as a bonus my teeth are Brite and white! I didn’t need anything extra today since my gums look much better. Good gums = good teeth = less pain at the dentist!

Dr. Lee has been our family dentist for over 15 years. Her practice is truly state of the art. Dr. Lee is passionate about learning the latest and best techniques and that makes all the difference, whether you’re having oral surgery or a cosmetic procedure. Technology is always improving and Dr. Lee literally makes it her business to stay current and knowledgable. For example, my receding gums had been a problem, but I didn’t look forward to the tissue grafting involved. Dr. Lee told me about a new, less invasive procedure. I just had it done and I’m so happy with the results. As far as veneers go, she is an artist. I have a beautiful, natural looking smile thanks to Dr. Lee.
I really like the staff, too. Very nice and professional. Several times they’ve accommodated us at the last minute. I’ve had work done that was only partially covered by insurance. The fees are always explained before the procedure, very clear, no surprises.
I’m so glad that I found Dr. Lee all those years ago. She’s pretty much stuck with me for life!

I’d give this business 0 stars if I could.
Dr. Lee tried to convince me that I needed to spend thousands of dollars to fix my teeth. When I tried to understand the cost breakdown, she became defensive, accusatory, and condescending. She used intimidation to try and force me to make a decision to have her do the work and she became upset when I explained to her that the treatment cost was out of my budget. She told me, «IF you care about your dental health, you will DO what I suggested. YOU need to make your teeth a PRIORITY.» Her bullying went on and on. When we left the office, my 9 year old son said, «Mommy, she was really awful and mean.»
Here’s the best part of the story. I decided to take the results from my exam with Dr. Lee to a trusted dentist to see if he would agree with her diagnosis and treatment plan. Turns out he COMPLETELY disagreed with her diagnosis and treatment plan. Out of the 5 suggested procedures that she insisted that I receive, he agreed with 1.
Dr. Lee overcharges people for services because she has to pay for that million dollar building on Olympic and ALL of the fancy equipment that she has chosen to buy. She’ll try and convince you and bully you into treatment services that you may not need.
Seriously, steer clear of her and her staff. There are plenty of honest people out there and she’s not one of them.

I had Dr Julia Lee for the past year. I would stay with her office if my insurance wasn’t changed.
Her staffs are very professional and the office is very clean and modern. They have very high tech dental gears in there too. Customer service was great. Everyone knew my name every time I walked in. It made me feel pretty special.
She took the time to take care of my gums. I really appreciate the work and time she put into helping me develop strong healthy gums. I hope to come back soon.

I agree with the others who have posted less than 5 stars on this site, craig, koscha and others. I wonder if Dr. Lee will post a reply to say «i can’t find you in our database». To sum it up. used car salesman is pretty accurate. I felt that this place is pushing cosmetic services & products vs providing dentistry. — this is wrong in so many ways.
It pains me to write this Unilocal review, but I just received another email from them reminding me that I should be sure to put aside FSA money for services with Dr. Lee. Yeah. right.
Here is my experience…
My company switched dental insurance so I thought I would try someone under the company plan. The Unilocal reviews seemed good enough and Dr. Lee is close to where I live.
I came in for a standard teeth cleaning, should take an hour, it took a little over 2 hours, here’s what happened.
–Dr. Lee wears a voice headset and tells other hygenists working in other rooms while she is examining my teeth what to do. uh. multi tasking, but not on my teeth and my time, please.
–My hygenist was told to by Dr. Lee that she would be back to finish cleaning the top section of my teeth. Hygenist and I sat around for about 30 mins while she’s off doing someone else and finally gives up and finishes what Dr. Lee started.
— typically, dental offices will take a simple set of x-​rays. it took about 45 mins because they took an x-​ray for every tooth. really? yes. really.
— when Dr. Lee finally came back to the room, she showed me my x-​ray, there were no cavities and nothing irregular, but I was recommended by her to purchase a night guard to prevent any future wear and tear — really? — sort of like being recommended to buy a boat because the ocean is expanding due to global warming
— then, Dr. Lee finally comes back to do the flossing, she exaggerates on how tight some of my teeth are during flossing suggesting that I may need some additional dental work. when I say exaggerate, I mean.
.god. i. can’t. get. the. floss. out. from. between. your. teeth. –complete with eye roll.
As I leave, the receptionist gives me a sheet of paper with recommendations of services & products to buy. Surprise, the night guard is listed on there plus some additional dental work to expand some of the spaces in my teeth.
I’m back at my regular dentist. Will pay the extra fee because they are not covered by the new insurance plan.
