From the ground up, we offer full-​service design, remodeling and construction services. We focus on residential remodeling projects, working with the client, architect, and/​or designer. Our preference is to take projects from start to finish so that we can insure completion in a timely manner, keep the project on budget, and guarantee high quality workmanship.

History

Established in 1994.

I hung my hammer and hat in Walnut Creek in the hopes of lasting friendships, community, and creative construction projects in 1993. Since then, I have worked with clients throughout my own neighborhood and up and down the 24⁄680 corridor earned through word-​of-​mouth referrals and quality working relationships with clients.

Business Owner

I have been working in the business since 1991, and a general contractor since 1993. I was raised in the San Joaquin Valley in a creative family who valued «doing-​it-​ourselves.» The combination of creativity and resourcefulness has served me well in this industry.

My degree is Business Economics, earned at the beautiful UCSB. My wife and I have two children, cats, a new puppy and a brood of backyard chickens. We do our best to keep our kids grounded in a fast-​moving world and appreciate the help of family and good friends at each turn.

We didn’t wind up doing construction (didn’t win the bid on a house we were hoping to buy/​remodel) but we worked with Chris to get ideas about the construction process and to think through the house’s potential. He was gracious enough to meet us at the prospective property and he was very patient and seemingly not bothered by our chaotic children. We had to discuss the project with him in a tag team method, one of us talking with him while the other chasing the kids, then switching. He was a pleasure to speak with and seems like a good person to do business with.

We have been working with Chris for over two years. He has redone our decks, our laundry room, and just completed a total remodel of our master bath. Chris was very helpful with design suggestions, and his workmanship is beautiful. We will continue to work with Chris for all future improvements on our home.

Chris Krueger was our contractor of choice for our remodel of our Walnut Creek home. Our job was finished on schedule and on budget, even with a shortened time frame due to the imminent arrival of our baby. WIth 4 kids it was very important to us to have someone we trusted in our home. Chris and all of his employees and associates were extremely respectful of our home, they left the job site immaculate at the end of each day and the work was top notch from start to finish. Krueger & Company are now doing Design and Build, although we already had our plans in place for our project, Chris made some practical and aesthetic changes to the previous design that we are thrilled with. Those changes also saved us considerable money. He has an eye for design and detail that is unrivaled and sets very high standards for himself and anyone involved on the job. He and his employees were on time every day and kept a very open line of communication. We were kept up to date with our budget frequently and given accurate estimates of timing and pricing.
We highly recommend Krueger and Company for your remodel, new construction and design needs.
