We are a local, family-​run business, serving the San Francisco Bay Area. We have service technicians that reside in several communities throughout the Bay Area, so we are never far from you.

Our company provides a wide range of repair, maintenance, and improvement services; for both residential and commercial locations. We do jobs both big and small: from a one hour quick fix, up to full remodels.

Business Owner

I became a licensed contractor in 1980 building homes and duplexes in Sacramento. Over the years I have built about 250 homes both working for myself and others. I have always enjoyed the process of creating a home and in 2008 when the market for new homes slowed I decided repairs and remodels would provide the same level of satisfaction and would enable me to utilize the experience of the past 30 plus years.

Since then we have grown to have 6+ technicians in the field and do jobs ranging from a simple one hour repair to full bath and kitchen remodels. When not working I enjoy the grand kids, trips with my wife of 40 years and old car related events.

Will never use these guys again. They showed up 2+ hours late. The guy that came was either totally cluelesss or dishonest. It was a relatively simple issue of a leaky toilet supply line, but since I was out of town and this a rental property, I decided to try R&R. Bad decision. Long story short, after spending 1.5 hours the leak wasn’t fixed and the guy told my tenant he’d have to go get a special part. If he had, I’m sure the $ 220 bill I ended up paying would have been over $ 400. Thankfully, my tenant could sense something was up and said thanks, but no thanks. When I got back, I ended up getting the part (nothing special about it) at the local Home Depot and replaced it myself in about 10 minutes. BEST TO AVOID THESE GUYS.

Made an appointment weeks in advance. The company canceled one day before appointment. Don’t use them if you need an estimate made– we needed estimate for our insurance, and now we are left without estimate because we thought this company was reliable. They did offer to reschedule for an unknown date because they are «booked».

Today was the first time we used R and R and we’re very pleased! When we called to make the appointment, our message was returned quickly and it was easy to schedule the appointment. Dennis arrived on time, repaired our front door and an interior door, explained what he was doing and why, and was professional in every way. We will definitely call R and R again when we need repairs.

I had R&R Handyman come out to replace a faucet and 3 toilets. Showed up right on time and did a great job. He made sure to have me check it out to make sure I approved. Everything was cleaned up and all trash taken away.

I am pleased to recommend R&R Handyman .
Jose came exactly on time. He was very professional while being very pleasant.
He efficiently made his way through my «to do» list.
I had a serious problem with a toilet. Jose diagnosed the problem (needed a whole new flushing mechanism), and I was happy that he had the necessary part on his truck.
This is the first time in ages that the toilet has worked the way it should.
I feel that the work was worth every bit of what I paid them.
I will certainly call them again.

We were very happy with the fascia board replacement done by Jose with R&R Handyman, who had to do some difficult 22 foot sawing and shaping to make the new boards fit. We would recommend R&R Handyman and have used them twice now, plan to again.
We will be using R&R again for our next project.

I have used R&R Services for a few smaller, recent projects and a few larger ones in the past (under Mr Handyman). The most recent ones include trimming a tall berry tree, replacing sections of a walkway that was broken and replacing parts in a kitchen faucet. The estimates have been on target in regard to the amount of time to complete the jobs and the quality has been great!
The office and technical team are polite, friendly and are willing to please. I really like that they are willing to do work on the weekends and on holidays at the same rates as the normal business hours.
I like that no project is too small and bigger projects that I have used this company for in the past were handled with such ease!
I hope to continue to do business with them!

Used once and no more. Racists remarks, poor workmanship, lost control of schedule. We were having to change times constantly to meet their schedule.
Attitude stinks and wonder why people use them. Oh, they require (never heard of this before) pre-​lien. I now understand why they ask for them. Get burned because they don’t do the work pointed out in the contract. Then redo work reluctantly.
