Tina and Sue are really great and do mani/pedi and waxing so efficiently and it is my favorite salon in Newton/Waltham area.

Hi, I have been getting my nails done since I was a teenager.(I am now 41). I have been to super elite spas and factory type places. I live in the area of this salon and saw the sign«Open» on Sunday. I gave it a try, since not many places are open on Sundays. I have been a regular every since. The owner, Tina, is so sweet and nice. They always do a professional job, for a very reasonable price. Granted, it isn’t the swankiest place to go, but the service and price can’t be beat. Give it a try.

I thought I would add a disclaimer before proceeding — I am basing the 4 stars on what you get and expect from the same type of nail establishment, as this is not claiming to be a fancy spa-like nail salon and should be rated accordingly. I live very close to TP nails and I had been a regular at Feminails on Moody Street until I moved and wanted to walk to this place instead of trying to get parking on Moody.(This place is also a few dollars less for a pedi!) I thought the girl who did my pedi was very good and took the time to do a really nice job. I enjoyed sitting in the massage chair and reading a magazine while she pumiced my dry heels, etc. I felt she took more time than other places I’ve been. The polish lasted a super long time(1 month+) and looked great! This is now where I go for my pedis as long as there isn’t a wait as there are only a few chairs.
