History
Established in 1993.
Best Mac Solutions (originally Imagine Mac) has been helping Mac users maximize their productivity for 23+ years, starting with System 7 (NOT OS X 10.7) and persisting through the Intel and Mac OS X evolutions.
Karelle, the owner, ran her stock photography business on a decrepit Macintosh SE that she learned how to fix and maintain. Others came to her for help, she took certificate training classes and gradually she moved into the computer field.
When an opportunity came to work for an alternative high school as a sys admin, she leaped at the chance, first designing their computer lab and continuing as the sysadmin for 9 years. She simultaneously developed a client base outside of the high school and in 2002 she moved on to working with her other individual and business clients, work that she continues to do today, for architects, importers, fiduciaries, teachers, artists, designers among others.
BMS visits your office or home to work with you, onsite, to help you maximize your Mac.

Karelle S.
Business Owner
Karelle has been involved with computers since 1969 — not a typo — she learned to program on the Univac 1 from her father, one of the Census Bureau’s first programmers.
Since discovering Macs in 1986, she’s been hopelessly addicted to their elegance, ease of use and enduring quality, and in 1993 transitioned from freelance photography to a career supporting her favorite computers and their users.
She is patient, persistent, knowledgeable, experienced with hardware and software (including Adobe Creative Suite, Filemaker, MS Office, Adobe Lightroom, among others) and with networks.
Part of her job is sorting out hardware and/or software issues, but an even more important part is helping the user be more comfortable and competent with their computer. Training and teaching especially in enhanced office productivity and photographic manipulation (using Lightroom) have proven very appealing to many of her clients.
She lives in the foothills near Boulder.
