Good dentist nice location affordable

I first want to say that my first impression of this place was a little lukewarm. I called on a Thursday and got an appointment for Friday. This was unexpected and not really in a good way. The girl on the phone was a little rushed or agitated, didn’t really have that calming demeanor that I so love when medical office employees have. I was very nervous when I got there for my appointment. When I walked in, I saw a tiny dingy little office that was in need of some updating. Only one person was working behind the desk, but it seemed sufficient as I was the only person in the waiting room. I could hear the dr working on someone in the back which made me feel really antsy.
Finally the front desk girl called me back, and just kind of pointed down the hallway to an obscure room at the end of the hall. Okay, don’t roll out the red carpet or anything. When the dr came in, all my tension was instantly alleviated. He was laid-​back, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He didn’t pressure me to have any work done. Told me it’s not necessary to get all my wisdom teeth removed if only one was giving me problems, and even encouraged me to wait and see how it felt after the antibiotic instead of trying to immediately schedule me to have work done. A doctor who is looking out for my own best interest? What kind of sorcery is this? He didn’t even charge me the full consultation price as he never did an X-​ray, said it was unnecessary since I had one taken a few years back and that I could send it over if I wanted him to look at it.
Also took into consideration the fact that I’m nursing and gave me a gentle antibiotic, past doctors just nodded and said «yep it’s fine». Told the front desk girl to tell me that I could pick up my prescription from walmart for only 4 bucks since I don’t have insurance. Wow… this is definitely a different kind of doctor than you and I are used to seeing. He is out of network for all insurance providers so he keeps his work very affordable for the average person, including the uninsured. He is honest and straightforward and I was even given a quote over the phone and told «it will NOT exceed this amount». Never heard that at a doctor’s office before… ever.

First time extraction patient, recommended by my dentist, a retired Navy Captain. New facility, quick doctor, genial person, obviously knows what he’s doing. Difficult extraction but he made it seem more pleasant than I expected. I highly recommend Dr. Yun and his staff. It was less expensive than I was quoted elsewhere. Don’t expect to linger. Their motto seems to be «Get ‘em in and get ‘em out and don’t take too much of their money». Post-​op instructions are crisp and complete. This is not a novice you will be dealing with. Very comforting. Swift and friendly. «As good as it gets.»

We had been referred to an overly expensive location in Manassas, but luckily we found Dr. Yun first!
He is very capable, thorough and fast. Very well priced tooth extractions.
My husband had a wisdom tooth that grew in and was driving him crazy. Dr. Yun talked to us the whole time while he numbed my husband’s jaw, which took about 10 minutes. Then, he extracted the tooth in one fell swoop. It took all of one minute for the actual tooth extraction.
Very swift with his work, very friendly. We were totally satisfied.
