Launch Trampoline Park

I went back to launch with my family over the weekend and we had a lot of fun together but while we were jumping in the big area I’ll say at least 10 kids of all ages kept running and jumping on our trampoline squares chasing each other around, now that’s really dangerous so I don’t need to explain why it is anyway I told the kids 2 times to stop and they didn’t…I kept saying your gonna get hurt or hurt my son and daughter they still didn’t stop. Now the whole time which was like 20 min the teenager that works there that could give a rats u know what about the kids or his job never said one thing. My 4 year old went up to him and told him to tell the kids to stop so he can jump and have fun lol like OMG this place. there whole staff except the front desk have no personality!! non of them talk or interact with the kids or parents it’s a huge turn off expecially when there not doing there job to keep kids safe. My first review was about my son’s birthday party and the number one reason I was pissed was no one told me about not being able to blow out the candles (which made him cry and I had to take half the party to the parking lot to do his cake) so now I find out they changed there policy and u can now blow candles out ! That just Made me very annoyed well at least no other kids party will be thrown off and ruined anymore.

Very friendly staff. Super clean place. Ended up staying well over 2 hours. The kids had a blast. Place was packed. Fun times had by all.

Hell for adults. Fun for kids.
Blaring music in an echoing warehouse. Constant screaming. Incessant whistles going off. Penetrating odor of vaping (from the employees upstairs or out the side door?). This is an amazingly unpleasant place to have to spend a couple of hours waiting for your kids. Avoid it at all costs.
On the positive side it appears that the kids are having fun.
Drop ‘em off and run or convince some other parent to stay and supervise. You’ll be sorry if you don’t.

This was a really fun place to go. We have been to several class bday parties here and both the adults and the kid have a blast. Great rainy day activity too. Will continue to go back! Good parking and friendly staff.

It was pretty cool walking in here and seeing how it was set up. This is like a little kids heaven. They’re are trampolines everywhere, a dodgeball area, and a foam pit. They also have a small area where the sell food. It’s really nice. I think one of the most impressing things was that Ty Law was just walking around taking pictures with anyone who asked and talking to anyone who came up to him. That’s a good business man if you ask me so I can only say good things about this place and it’s so reasonably priced.

I thought the place would have more things, there is a foam pit but that’s pretty much the only unique thing. There are a few trampoline courts, the main one is just a lot of trampoline squares. I expected the whole place to be one cohesive trampoline park with more activities, but it’s not bad.
There’s a nice gaming area that you can go to when you’re tired. It’s kind of a money waster but all arcades are. The games are pretty fun.
Not bad for a day trip, but I don’t know if I will return. It’s only $ 20 for an hour and a half, but I at least want there to be more to do.

The trampoline park Launch owned by former New England Patriots star Ty Law is a good place. Everything is green and black and the mascot is a kangaroo. The trampolines are fun to bounce on but can get crowded and limited amount of space since the trampoline park is very small. The food is not the best since I came here for a birthday party and would not get the food. Arcade is very weak with only 4 – 5 games. In the park there is a main area, foam block pit area, dodgeball and small kids area. Recommend coming during the day because the place is very crowded at night on weekends and there is no space. Other than that a good place to jump around for an hour or two.

My daughters 7^th Birthday party was at Launch in Warwick RI on June 14, 2014 and I was really disappointed with the service our party was from 5:00 p. m to 6:40 pm. We arrived at 4:30 as it stated to arrive early prior to our guests who were told according to the invite to get there at 4:45. When we arrived we were told that things were backed up a bit and that we could wait in the small food court until our table was prepared. Our table wasn’t prepared until shortly after 5:00, which was a very tight fit with all of our 21 party guests plus parents. The good thing is that they did let the kids jump as they arrived but it was very disorganized because I had to stay with all of the presents while the parents and my husband went to be with the kids. When, our table was ready the party helper from launch didn’t help me with the gifts, I had to organize all of the gifts as well as place all of the party kids shoes in the bin in front of the table.
At about 5:30 I noticed that no drinks where on the table and the kids were thirsty from jumping for almost a ½ hour. I had to go to the front booth to ask for our drinks. The drinks arrived including water about 10 minutes later. Around 5:45, I was surprised they didn’t announce for the kids to sit to have Pizza etc. At around 5:55 I had my husband and some of the parents gather up all 21 of our kids to start the pizza. At this point, I had to find our party helper to provide us the pizza. She came with the pizza but we had to serve the pizza and the drinks to all 21 kids. As she was no where to be found after leaving the pizza.
Once the kids were settled, I went to find the party helper to ask her when Jumping Joey was coming out for the kids. She told me that Jumping Joey wasn’t there on that Saturday. At that point, I asked to speak to someone else we paid for a Jumping Joey party and the only reason why my daughter wanted the party at Launch was for Jumping Joey. They also told me that Jumping Joey was not there as he was at an outside event. I said «You need to find me a Jumping Joey». At this point, my daughter was getting upset because pizza was done and there was still no Jumping Joey at one point she started to cry.
I didn’t realize this until we came home but she went up to the Launch party helper and asked her when Joey was coming out and the Launch Party Helper told her that Jumping Joey needed to take a break from Jumping so much because he was tired and was having trouble catching his breathe. Who tells a 6 year old this? I don’t feel my daughter made this up because she wanted me to call them before bedtime to be sure Jumping Joey was okay. At this point in the party, we are upset about no Jumping Joey and not really sure what to do. I ask if they will be singing happy Birthday and for our cupcakes. The Launch party planner tells me they don’t do a special time for Happy Birthday and we can do the cupcakes now. She then brings me our cupcakes however doesn’t pass them out and I am once again passing out food and drinks.
I also realize that we are suppose to get a shirt and we want the kids to sign the shirt. When the kids go to sign the shirt none of the Launch markers work it was a good thing I brought markers. As the kids, were getting ready to leave the Party Planner tells me her manager is back and would I like Joey to come out. We say of course but a number of our kids from the party had left. Joey came out to meet my daughter but it was like for a minute and just stood there. Didn’t engage with the kids and just left. Also the other parties that were happening where storming him there was no organization to his coming.
The other disappointing fact is that they told me prior all the kids sitting down that I had 27 kids at the party. I actually had to make the Launch party planner count the number of kids that I had which was 21 and one of the kids Mom actually paid for the Sibling which I ended up paying twice for. I was so disgusted with everything that I didn’t have the energy to argue over one child. I was really exhausted from the day and wish that I had rented a bouncy house for our backyard and had a character appear, I felt like I did just as much work having to server everyone and clean up.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed in the customer service, feel miss lead on Jumping Joey especially for the cost of this party for 21 kids. I would not recommend this as a Birthday party place for children less then 10. ** Launch did contact me today ⁷⁄₂₁ after this review was posted and they are providing me another opportunity for my daughter to met Jumping Joey as well compensating me for my trouble. I appreciate the fast response and knowing that this isn’t standard business practice. Thank you Beth you were a joy to talk to**

We come here every now and then.
We like the atmosphere and layout here better than the *other* trampoline park.
Look for deals online. Buy the socks. (no ewwy rentals and regular socks are so slippery!)

Follow-​up post: The manager was thoughtful enough to correct their wrong. After learning of our experiance, she invited my son back for compensated time. Joey did come and spend time with him. His 2^nd experiance, trumped his 1^st. Thank you to the staffing manager: Beth. Im sure we will return.
Original post: My 7yr old sons party coordinator was pleasant. The time frame they supplied, stayed on schedule. The meet with «Joey» was DISAPPOINTING:(, as fast as he came, snapped a pic, was as fast as he left. My son was sad; the yr we did chuck e cheese, Chuck E. mingled. I gave my 2stars as over all experiance: we’ve experianced better.

A group on bought me here. I work a lot a bit and so I try to keep the boys busy/​wear them out on my days off so this can get pricey. I’m not sure I would pay full price for this as I wasn’t overly impressed but it did the job. Since this was my first trampoline park I had nothing to compare it to. The boys had a blast. The little one loved the foam pit, the big one loved dodge ball. It was clean and not overly crowded. The bathrooms were clean and there is an overpriced refreshment area. We came during the week but I can imagine it being a nightmare on weekends.

Launch trampoline park is actually a lot of fun. It’s pretty small, but it has 4 distinct trampoline areas: the main area, the dodgeball area, the kid’s area, and one where you can jump into a pile of foam squares. It costs $ 14 (regardless of age) for an hour of jumping. An hour actually lasts longer than you realize, and you will likely get tired after continuous jumping.
I wish they had some better group deals like if you come with 2 adults and 2 kids for example, get some sort of discount rate. I know they have some other deals for certain days of the week, but I think maybe having children’s prices vs adults, or family rates or something would be nice.
Although we were intrigued by the families having birthday parties here, I have so say it looked kind of lame. The birthday area is pretty small and there are a few flatscreen tvs, but it definitely seems less exciting than having a child’s birthday party elsewhere.
I would come back in the future, but not regularly. I think $ 14 for an hour of jumping (with lots of breaks because it wears you out) is a bit steep for a regular activity. I know my nephew had a blast though, and I’m sure kids overall would love coming here.

My 5 year old was very excited to jump-​she loves to jump. She basically had fun-​but it was vacation week and crowded. The negatives I experienced:
–The staff was basically all teenagers, who were not very helpful for my issue. My daughter was in the «toddler area»…along with bigger 7 – 10 year olds who were whipping around a ball (ala dodgeball). Well she got pelted and was not happy, and I had to then sit in the court with her. This made another teenager worker tell me I could not be in the court with my little one. I explained to him that I was there only because she got pelted by a ball in toddler area.
My daughter is little-​but pretty resilient. I think that the adult staff/​owners need provide their teenage staffers some things about the toddler area. There were a few little ones and parents who were not pleased with this area and how it was being supervised.
–The smallest shoe they had was a 2. It was a nice day and we had sandals on… we had to walk to Savers to purchase socks. Launch It should carry socks to purchase, or add smaller shoes for the toddlers.

I brought the boys I babysit for here over a recent school break to get some energy out. They were incredibly excited, and we had a great time!
Inside was barely controlled chaos; if you go on a weekend or over a break, be sure to book your appointment in advance! When we arrived at noon, there were no openings until 5:30 that night. Thankfully, we had booked in advance. The boys and I got our jumping shoes and got in line, where the instructions/​rules were (loudly) reviewed. Once we were inside the jumping area, the boys were in heaven! We started off in the free jump area, then moved to the kiddie area for a bit. Once the novelty of that had worn off, the boys wanted to try out the dodge ball area, and played several rounds of the game before deciding they were tired. We had time for one flip into the foam pit, and just like that, our hour was up and it was time to go!
Lockers are offered to stow your belongings in, but note that they are small, and if you need to stash more than one winter coat, I would think about leaving what you can in your car. But a great way to get some energy out during the cold winter months!

We had our sons’ birthday party here recently and I was quite pleased with how it turned out. Our party was scheduled for 10:00 — 11:40, right when they first opened. This was ideal because it took a little while before it became really crowded. The staff was prepared when we got there and our guests were able to start jumping right away. The kids LOVED the place.
Once the jumping was over, the kids sat at a table to have pizza and drinks. The pizza looked really gross to me but I didn’t try it so I can’t speak to the taste. My son loves pizza but he wouldn’t eat it. Most of the other kids, though, didn’t seem to mind. The pizza and drinks came with the birthday package, we added Hoodsie cups to go along with the cupcakes we’d brought.
Besides the pizza there were a couple of negatives. They have TVs set up alongside the party tables. So, 4 TVs tuned to Nickelodeon and other kid’s stations. I noticed that while the food was being served, the kids were mostly glued to the TV (Sponge Bob does that). It probably keeps the party area more manageable for staff and parents but I wished they didn’t have the TVs because the kids weren’t interacting as much as I’d hoped. Also, many of our guests were late because they had trouble finding it. There is a big sign when you turn from RT. 2 but there should be an additional sign telling people to turn at Starbucks. Many people drove up around Home Depot and around before they found it.
Overall, the experience was great. The staff was helpful and friendly. And the kids had a great time jumping which is the most important thing. I would recommend it.

The good, the bad and the ugly…
The good: Kids (and adults) of all ages can play. There are three different compartments so that you have a space for the toddlers, a dodge ball court and the older kids/​adults area.
Friendly staff, although they don’t really give you the low down on how things work when you’re a newbie checking in for the first time.
Jumping of course… if that’s all you’re interested in doing.
The bad: Super douper crowded. 5 parties going on plus all others. No party rooms which means you’re sharing the space with 1 million (no joke) other party-​goers.
The dodgeball court. Ok… it’s not ok to allow grown men and older teenage boys to whip dodgeballs at 10 and 11 year old girls… or rather… any girls. My niece got a ball whipped at her (hit her in the face) while she was attempting to exit the court. Ref did absolutely nothing. Now, I understand this play at your own risk mumbo jumbo. but really refs? They need to get their macho on at the expense of little girls?
The ugly: The smell, the smell, the smell. It hits you like a ton of bricks when you walk through the door. Think high school gym x 1 000 000 000 000 000 000. OMG… totally and seriously folks… invest in a better air filtration system. Or have the fabreeze folks do one of their commercials there in hopes of improving the stench.
The bathrooms. OYYYY veyyyyyyyy. Ok., here’s the thing. When you have THAT many people coming through your facility, hire a full time bathroom attendent. It was gross… What wasn’t on that floor… hair, water, paper, food, blood? unless it was pizza sauce… but in any case, c’mon guys… clean up.

I had a completely different idea in my head what this place would be like when hearing about it. I imagined big gyms full of a single trampoline and total chaos (which sounds like a good time to me). What it actually is totally different. It’s semi non-​chaotic play place (the place was packed to the brim when we were there and I wasn’t feeling my typical social anxiety taking over) and it seems to have a good system of how to handle large crowds of children. The trampoline «room» is split into little 3×3 or 4×4 squares linked together for walking between them. There is lots of room (along with benches) for the parents who are watching kids on the side, right next to the jumping area for easy kid tracking.
I will say that the staff isn’t good about informing first time visitors on how the place works. My son and I kinda walked around for a bit looking lost until another parent must have seen my confusion and helped me out.
Good for all ages, but adults may want to stay away school vacations if they don’t like packs of wild children. I’ll be trying this place on a normal night, from what I heard from other parents there is that it’s much more fun for adults when it’s a little calmer.

My son had a birthday party there on a Sunday. I was sure it was going to go smoothly because birthday parties are generally on Saturdays. It was a mad house!
My party was scheduled for 3pm and when we arrived at 2:45, there wasn’t a space for us. The previous party was going over time. Their computer system was down and therefore sheer chaos. No one knew who my hostess was and we waited til 3:30 before we were helped. By the time I got 10 boys aged 8 – 11 into shoes and jumping it was 3:40.
I had several annoyed parents who expected to be there from 3 – 4:40 only. Ans there was place for parents to sit while their kids played. We were scattered all over the place. So i couldn’t really interact with my parents. I feel I neglected them.
At 4:06 they announced that my son’s friends were to come down for the party. Yes, 26 mins later!
They served the thickest, nastiest pizza on the planet! None of the kids ate it! 2 cried… The crust was about 4 – 5 inches thick, lots of sauce, very little barely melted cheese that when picked up, it slide completely OFF THE BREAD! Yuck!
Good news is that Ty Law’s wife was there really working her behind off, setting up and breaking down party tables and she really accommodated us. She allowed the kids to jump additional time and constantly checked in with me to make sure we had no needs. Love it!
All in all, the boys had an excellent time jumping. I would come again for play but never again for a party. It wasn’t worth the money I spent. Plus we had to bring our own cake and they wanted to charge me extra for hoodies ice cream cups! Not cool, not cool at all. So we had NO ice cream for the kids.
They just opened up and Sunday was only their second day of doing parties, so they get a pass, but they need a focus group of parents like myself who have experienced them in order to improve. I am personally volunteering!

This place just opened up so they need to work on a couple things but overall our group had so much fun!
So the basics:
–next to planet fitness
–plenty of parking
–wear workout clothes… you will get SWEATY
–they give you shoes or you can wear your socks
–you can buy tix online $ 14 for one hour session (trust me 1hr is enough!)
— there are 4 total spaces:
1. small ball zone
2. dodgeball zone
3. one bouncy room + the best is the
4. foam pit (where you can flip!)
— you get a colored wrist band + they tell you when your hour is up
— there is music + bday parties galore!
The lockers aren’t really working– something with the locks being broken but the staff let us keep the important things behind the desk. The place was SUPER busy around 5pm– tons + tons of kids of all ages… and for some reason I thought it would be a little bit bigger. I went with a group of adults + we still managed to have a good time even though we were surrounded by the little ones– would recommend the adult only hours though– — but it seems like from other reviews they are still working out that whole ‘adult only’ idea.
There is only 1 person allowed in each square space in the large trampoline room + you can’t sit down… I got the whistle… but in reality I just couldn’t get up because I was laughing so hard! You can flip if ya like… but don’t flip on the green sections THEY DO NOT BOUNCE. ouch!
For someone who has never been to a trampoline park this was a great way to spend one hour laughing with my friends + just being silly happy. I heard they might have aerobics classes in the future… which would be awesome. It really is tough to bounce for an hour + this comes from someone who just finished P90X! I am sore today!
I think this place has a lot of potential– I do hope however they separate the young + the old… because I would like to go back without thinking I might trample a 5 year old. The parents there seemed really happy though + their kids were being active + having a blast! It would be great if the music was louder during the ‘adult hours’ and they played music videos on the screen instead of football… I mean even a disco ball would be epic.

If you need laughter + movement in your life, this is your kinda place!

This is a great idea and they are executing pretty well. It has great spots for the little ones as well as the big kids (adults that have still not gotten past their teen love of bouncing and dodge ball). Yes, I said dodge ball on trampolines. How cool is that, unless you just cam in from a bar and have a gut full of beer.
Anyway, I think that this is a new and exciting addition to West Warwick. Their have great prices for families, kids and the a fore mentioned big kids.
So what do they have you are now asking.
Well all of that is at a ‘ground level’ so no climbing up. They all have padded sides in case you bounce out. The floors are cushioned. They have a snack bar area.
Activities:
1) Larger trampolines
2) Small trampolines for youth and toddlers
3) Foam block pit (6′) with trampolines at the bottom
4) Trampoline Dodge Ball arena
5) Trampoline aerobics area where they are placed all over to include curving up the walls so that as you bounce and run the arena, you can go up the walls a bit
All is too much fun.
