Specialties
Specializing in imaginative and traditional cocktails reasonably priced and made from scratch. Featuring two tiki cocktails on tap (suffering bastard and mai tai). Our beer list centers on farmhouse wild yeast beers plus 3 rotating drafts (light, bitter and local). Our wine list contains approximately 15 wines by the glass and 60 bottles of a very eclectic mix, some quite special and hard to find, and very reasonable priced.
Our menu is comprised of chef driven small plates, sandwiches, salads, entrees. It’s intended to be casual but special and the types of food we as owners like to eat. Items range from a poutine to a lobster roll to mom’s meatballs to Asian style shrimp and pork belly dumplings. We anticipate the menu will change frequently.
History
Established in 2013.
We simply wanted to create a casual neighborhood spot where you can drink and eat well without the trappings of a fancy restaurant (or the price tag). We also want to offer a great menu, well made cocktails and a superb wine list in a warm environment open late. We are often frustrated with the lack of after 10 pm dining options in DC and hope to change that.
