Minus all the ECOLI stuff going on with Chipotle. I loveeee this location. I have stopped to this location plenty of times for lunch since I work right around the corner from this location. The staff is super friendly and they do not hesitate on giving great service. The food is on point as well! Keep it up!

I love Chipotle, but this is the worst one I’ve been to. Service was poor, the staff had trouble completing basic requests. I always ask to have my burrito mixed before it is wrapped so you don’t get bites of only rice, etc. It’s never been a problem before, but the employee said they didn’t tell her to do that so she wouldn’t. They also put smaller portions of meat than any other one I’ve been to. Maybe I’m spoiled being from Colorado where chipotle was started, but this was a bad experience for me.

I have never been a huge fan of this chipotle location. But I go there often enough because it is right near my apartment. The food is usually cold and often involves me reheating my to-go bowl when I get back to my apt. The guac has been brown, so I don’t even bother. Today though, as I opened my to-go burrito bowl, I found a dead fly smashed among the wilted lettuce. Pretty disgusting. Not going back, I’d rather walk all the way to the Cleveland park chipotle or spend an eternity waiting in line at open city(which is not that good either).

Chipotle is usually a solid 4 – 5 stars depending on the service and the guac. But this place gets 3. They need to learn how to wrap a burrito the normal Chipotle way. Seriously, every other Chipotle in the country wraps their burritos the same way. Mission style. It keeps the burrito wrapped without allowing ingredients to fall out of a flap. Cheers to the worst wrapped Chipotle burrito I have ever eaten.

A clean and friendly Chipotle! The service was fast and the workers were pretty generous with the toppings. If not, the employees were nice enough when I asked for an extra scoop of something(i.e lettuce, corn, salsa, etc.). This place is like any great Chipotle! It’s also very conveniently located near the metro stop making it the perfect place for that quick grab and go to carry with you to your next destination. I know for sure that my friends who live near by frequent this place more often than normal and they are always satisfied!

I don’t get it, the allure of this place alludes me. They were out of tortillas. So I guess you just get a bowl of rice and beans and chicken. Then to add guac is 2.30, now I love avo but the amount is insane. It should be have the guac for half that price.

Usually the size of the burritos at Chipotle justify the price, but not at this branch. The size of the burrito is consistently small. It’s more of a taco than a burrito.

Service here is terrible. Just awful. Also, the scoops of chicken are conveniently(for Chipotle) getting smaller and smaller. It’s the biggest weakness with the Chipotle model. You never know how much chicken(or beans) you’ll actually get in your burrito. But again, the service here is very bad. All employees need to be trained — seemingly for the first time.

I love Chipotle overall. This one is a good as any other, but it is under appreciated, which makes it even better. There are rarely super long lines and it is open pretty late. Also, the parking on Calvert is 1 hr. parking and usually a spot is open for you to run and grab your lunch/dinner.

This Chipotle is very close to home, so I’t a frequent visitor. Relative to other Chipotle locations in the area, the staff(read: management) here definitely need some work. While there is rarely a line here, when there is, it is by far the slowest moving line I’ve ever been in. Staff frequently appear to ignore customers and seem to always want to be somewhere else. I once saw a customer try to order a kids meal and it took four different people to figure out what that meant(I had previously assumed this was common).

This Chipotle is about a 5 minute walk from my apartment, and on the way from the Woodley Park metro exit home, so I commonly will order dinner online from the office and pick it up on the way home if I’m working late. Since the beginning of the new year, something has gone wrong every time I visit, just some highlights: 1. Ordered a burrito, burrito bowl, two bags of chips and guacamole. Went to pick it up, was charged for all of those items, received two large bags – no chips or guac. Called to ask if my boyfriend had left a bag on the counter, «no, we’re out of guacamole today.» What? 2. «I have an order to pick up at 6:15 that I placed online. It’s under Callie, and it’s paid for.» At 6:20, they tell me that they never made it, and to hold on. Then the try to charge me twice. 3. Yesterday, some friends and I wanted something quick after wandering the zoo. I was ordering a bowl for myself and a burrito for my boyfriend. When we got back to the roof deck to open our food – everyone else had these enormous burritos, so much so that my perpetually-hungry boyfriend was even impressed – and I somehow ended up with a child’s serving worth of food. Despite ordering: double white rice, fajita veggies, extra black beans, steak, corn salsa and«like a boatload of cheese,» in both… I got a drizzling of each. They charged me for«extra» on both items, and I was still hungry after my meal – I’m a small girl, I can rarely finish a burrito bowl in one sitting. If you’re diligent, and not expecting the sort of standardized service that you get when ordering online for the M street Chipotle, or visiting another location – you’re fine. Make sure to check the bag before you leave, and watch what they throw in the bowl if you’re ordering multiple entrees at once.

So after my bad experiance a couple of months ago I noticed that they have changed most of the staff at this location. This was definatley a great thing. I decided to go there today on my lunch break and I was greeted with a smile. The employees were very nice and even held small convo with me as they were preparing my bowl. There was a sweet gentleman with locs that was great and makes me wanna come back for my next lunch break! The food was very fresh, unlike my last visit. I am so happy management decided to switch things up!

Good service, quick lines, and very standardized food every time! Staff is well trained and adept at their task. Gets busy during peak lunch and dinner hours so plan your trip accordingly. Great location and a stone’s throw away from the woodley park metro station. Love this place!

This location was very dirty! I wouldn’t eat here again because of the nasty sticky floors and dirty bathrooms. It’s chipotle the food taste like every other location but they do offer things here that other locations don’t which is why I gave this place a try.

(Two stars relative to other restaurants in this same price range.) My original review is below. I’ve left it unaltered. But I’m bumping it down from four stars to two. The staff is just not on its game lately, at all. Three times in the past couple of weeks they’ve just completely disregarded what I’ve said. I’d like guac on the side. Nope, a big heap on top. No tomatoes. Nope, here are a ton of tomatoes all over your food. And so forth. After each time, when you tell them that’s not what you asked, they do not make your order a new. They just sort of pause and look at you and stand around until you say it’s fine or walk out. If it wasn’t so close to home, and so Chipotle, I’d sever ties and be done with it. This is not representative of all Chipotles, just this one. Previous review: I like this Chipotle. The line is never too long or too slow and the staff are friendly enough. The food is standard chipotle fare so, you know, it’s a solid choice.

Every time I go to this location, I say I’m going to write a review because they have solved the mystery of a low calorie Chipotle… Skimp on EVERYSINGLEINGREDIENT! On multiple occasions I have heard people have to ask for more rice… RICE. Without fail, they give out just over half a spoon full, even of the most inexpensive ingredients. I have honestly had thicker burritos from Taco Bell. Do yourself a favor and go a mile up the road to the 14th St. location. There is a reason why they always have a line and its beaches they make big fat burritos and bowls like Chipotle should. I love Chipotle but every time I visit this location I leave feeling hungry and cheated.

This Chipotle has serious staff problems. I have tried it repeatedly, because it’s right on the way home, but may have to find a new location. Last night despite me saying all done and to wrap up the burritos and bowls, they dumped a boatload of salsa on everything when I turned away. That wouldn’t have been too bad except they were out of beef and I had already waited for it once. The time before they only had two employees on the line, including the register. He had to take his gloves on and off each time he had to ring someone up. Before that. .. okay, I will stop dumping on them but please, could you find some help that shows up and listens to the customer’s order? Note to the President — you’re supposed to keep your hands on your own side of the sanitary glass! Maybe he had trouble getting them to understand too. ..

This location is near a metro station, in fact on the same block. There are several restaurants on this strip, both sides of the street; Lebanese, Mediterranean, Afghan, Italian. I considered all of the options and still went with Chipotle. Mostly because I know how much I enjoy it and it was a safe choice because I was about to embark on a 5 hour train ride. The line was long and a bit slow, obviously very popular despite being surrounded by independently owned ethnic restaurants. Veggie Bowl to-go! President Obama has eaten here. They have the pic displayed.

I’ve been disappointed in this Chipotle more than once. Aside from a couple of issues this would seem to be a perfectly serviceable option in the nationwide chain of burrito shops, but this one just keeps falling a bit short. I understand that this is a very busy location, but the lack of cleanliness each time I’ve been in here is more than just«dealing with a rush». That’s great that they get busy, but when there are now four customers in the place and you have extra employees standing around, they should probably be cleaning, putting out napkins, fixing the soda machine, etc. That next«rush» you have to deal with is going to really suck if you never cleaned up after the first one. The other thing besides cleanliness that gets me about this location is that they are bizarrely stingy with extras. I don’t mean the meat, beans, and guac. We all know those things aren’t cheap these days. I mean the salsa and lettuce. This is the only Chipotle I’ve ever been in where, when asking for a little more lettuce, I was told«No, that’s enough» and then when asking again was told«No, you have enough». Just a very odd way to react to what is probably the least pricey thing in the entire place. There are plenty of other Chipotle locations in D.C. and the surrounding area. If I’m in this area I’ll go a bit out of my way to one of the others with better service and fewer napkins on the floor.

People say, «if it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck.» In the same vein, if it’s Halloween and a bunch of twenty-somethings are in a line in haphazardly assembled costumes, they’re PROBABLY just waiting for $ 3 BOOritos at Chipotle. Good parallel? Probably not. Good burrito? Oh yes. On an average day, the value at Chipotle is unmatched, considering the quality and freshness of the ingredients, and the fact that it’s fast food that’s slightly less likely to cause artery blockage than your average French fries. $ 7ish for an extremely filling burrito/bowl/salad/tacos(3) made of local, relatively healthy ingredients? Pretty great. $ 3 for the same BOOrito/bowl/salad/tacos just for putting on an American flag cape or some cat ears? It’s this sort of deal that makes me think Halloween may be the best holiday of them all. Chipotle is a reliable choice any day of the year, but it is NOT to be missed on Halloween. Is it the most authentically delicious Tex-Mex you’ll ever try? Nope. It is, however, delightfully consistent, no matter where you go, and a filling(**really, really filling) meal for about $ 7.
