This makes Ving Tsun (pronounced «wing chun») an ideal martial art to learn for both women and men of any stature. Ving Tsun teaches you the principles of relaxation, economy of motion, and centerline. All of these ideas can and do end up helping you in your daily activities outside of martial arts, which Moy Yat termed «kung fu life». Practitioners also gain from improved health and fitness while working out in an informal group environment.
