Georgetown Oral & Maxillodfacial Surgery

I wanted to share with you my experience with Georgetown Oral Surgery and specifically my Oral Surgeon and his staff. From my first meeting with Dr. Goldblatt and his staff, I felt a truly compassionate and caring doctor, who I felt was very skilled and knowledgeable about his work, I felt very comfortable, knowing his vast years of experience, would provide me a world class service for the two implants that I will be having him do for, everyone from receptionist to the finance office, were professional. I was given a detailed itemized bill with clear explanations as to my responsibility for the portion of the bill and balance by the dental insurance. But, what was so amazing was, the actual dental implant procedure, which I was told will be 2 hours, it was completed within 1 hour and 15 minutes! and I will tell, I felt as comfortable as doing a dental cleaning! I would highly recommend this highly skilled Oral Surgeon to anyone seeking such a service. His way of putting me at ease, was truly remarkable.

Evaluating Dr. Williams only on the ends achieved, he would have scored higher; he did remove my wisdom teeth. His means toward that end, however, left so much to be desired. The initial consult was fine — in and out with a surgery date. When I returned for the actual extraction, Dr. Williams said very little before or after the extraction, seemed very distracted, and was incredibly rough with the surgery. He seemed much more concerned with the speed of the surgery and getting back to whatever he was doing before than with the comfort of the patient. If given the choice, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Dr. Williams is just is fantastic! Four wisdom teeth in one shot with full anesthesia is the only way to go. Professional, competent with great bedside manner! His staff, from the reception desk to the nurses are a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. If my wisdom teeth grow back out, I know where I’m going!

Came here to get three wisdom teeth removed and chose Dr. Williams over the other doctor who also operates at this location.
As far as getting the job done, excellent. But as to why he drilled into my upper left canine during a wisdom teeth extraction, I have no idea. It’s something I have to deal with the rest of my life now though.

Dr. Williams is the MAN! All at the same time, this guy plucked four stubborn wisdom teeth out of my head like he was flipping flapjacks. He is one smooth operator. I felt only pressure; no pain or real discomfort to speak of during the remarkably short procedure. I was understandably nervous, but he really put me at ease with his good humor and impeccable bedside (chair-​side?) manner. Dr. Williams’ staff was equally professional; the office open and inviting. They didn’t think it was weird that I wanted to keep my teeth (hey, I can use all the wisdom I can get!). The sutures healed beautifully. The drugs were awesome as hell. A really great experience, under the circumstances. I highly recommend.
